I am using this plugin on a customer’s website, and it was registered under their username (JimDeMask). I’m creating a page for the member list and I’ve chosen to use theme 9. The thing is – your formatting is a mess! There are 3 different fonts used for various parts of each member that’s listed. All I want from UMP is for it to use my font settings as defined with the theme I’m using on the site. Do I REALLY have to do custom CSS for each one of these definitions that use different font formatting? In the way you’ve designed this plugin, you actually are creating more work for developers because we have to undo the styling you’ve applied to things.
Is there an easier way to deal with CSS styling in this plugin?

Is it possible to make custom fields accessible only on the account page which they will have access to after they submit their membership payment.
Example: Initial registration form may consist of 4-5 fields.
After user has registered, they will have access to an additional 10 fields on the account page, which they didn’t have access to prior to registration.

Hi, I’m interested in your plugin but I have a few questions to ask if I may.
First, when I view your demo site and select menu items such as register, login, members area, they all load very fast. When I select content locker or restricted page, they take 7 or 8 seconds to load first time, with browser stating waiting for cache. Once these pages have fully loaded once, they load quickly after that (cache Storage). Is this normal when accessing restricted pages? I ask, because the long initial loading time delay, made me think the link wasn’t working and I almost gave up.
Second, my only other concern at present, looking at some reviews, are comments regarding lack of support or even support questions being ignored. I also see on this very page, a post from a verified buyer asking why are you ignoring their post and ticket number…..”Ticket #985027 is very urgent. Why is there no reply for days?????”.
Is this the normal level of support for this plugin? Do you have a typical turnaround time for questions?

Hi, im trying to archive something and I’m hoping this plugin can do that: I have a monthly subscription ( digital service ) with a one time fee ( physical product ) Now I need customers to be able to buy this subscription and product and being able to upgrade from there and buy another subscription and product with the same account. So is it possible to have multiple sub’s going for one account and being able to upgrade from the current sub?

UMP provides this integration to specific actions from UMP which can not be replicated by other scripts. For a simple signUp process into WP you can use any script inside the MyCred plugin.

Is this plugin able to restrict the page created by a Read More link?
An example of how my site works: I create a Post (not a page), with a small intro paragraph and a more tag with the rest of the article. The intro paragraph of the post is automatically added to my home page with the read more button on the bottom of the post. I want users to be able to see the small section on the homepage, but only paid users can see the page after clicking Read More.

10 Email integrations are for a different purpose and emails are triggered from UMP is not an easy comment to understand. So I request more clarification. If I do not have any of those 10 email plgins / services and am using the SMTP Mailer on my VPS hosting for all my emails from various plugins, will UMP work nicely? I guess it should, but still clarifying. Next question if I wish to use an 11th email service that is not already integrated but offers an HTML form code can we have an HTML form code work with UMP? Those integrated Email Services are only for OptIn module which is not required into UMP standard workflow. All Notifications are managed directly from UMP Dashboard using the standard wp_mail function. If you want you can set a custom SMTP server in order to manage the wp_mail() jobs.
OptIn module only help you to automatically store new registered users emails into an external service/list.

How to edit the name “username” “name” “last name” etc?
It is not a help question. We never used your help and our last answer staid without your response. It is not about that. There is a real problem with Loco translation.
We managed it via FTP, but it should not look like this. The translation should be available via Loco and not via FTP + Loco. The problem for us is the under-developed translation system. There is no possibility to translate two words on the registration page: “avatar” (we must translate) and “upload”. Even adding them to Loco does not translate them on the page. There is no way to translate them and we have a language mix – it looks terrible!

Keep in mind that via languages files are manageable texts which can not be managed from UMP Dashboard, being justified why. Once those fields labels are manageable from UMP Dashboard will not be part of languages files.

OK. We can change (translate) “avatar” from UMP Dashboard but “Upload” should be translated form Loco – it doesn’t work! That`s all! It is a bug! Source text “Upload” is still in English on the registration page. We can`t change it from from UMP Dashboard. We have licenses (need another 15) & it is our first problem with UMP. It is not a problem really but a bug!
PS You should fix the subject of translation. Because the same problem is with other expressions, for example.Some of them are translated in Loco, some of them are translated in UMP Dashboard and a few are missing:
Displayed User Fields: Nickname – Loco, Upload – missing, Webiste – missing, Avatar – UMP Dashboard, Biographical Info – missing.

No it is not! Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro has 7 translations. Turkish 28%. Russian 0%. Polish 1%. French 19%. Hebrew 13%. Italian 28%. WHY?
Because the translation of this plugin is a nightmare! Help in translating is in your interest because thanks to that you sell more. You do not pay for the translation and now you only make it difficult. We gave you 5 stars but about 4 stars too much. The entire translation system of this plugin is pointless. Zero percent of intuitiveness. It is not possible to translate “upload” and other terms. We lost 1h. We had to buy more licenses in November, but we will not buy. 100% sure. It’s a waste of time!
We never asked (we have 3 licenses) for help. Even when we asked any questions, they remained unanswered. Now we read strange answers regarding the translation. This is not a technical problem, but the promotion of your plugin.

Those languages files have been provided based on some customers gratitude and have been managed as they wish to translate. Also, extra data have been added during each update. Once those translations are nothing than extra files can be used for some or can be removed and done from the scratch.

When you add a new language in Loco, you have five terms to translate. 5! Should be over 1900. You have to install Poedit. Transfer files to the server. Change their names, etc. The new files are named (by the plugin) in a different system than existing ones. We use two other member plugins, and there are no problems with translation in Loco – it is 100% without searching for the 1h phrase “upload”, which is 100% missing, as well as others. We appreciated this plugin until we had to translate it. We have 1 page where it requires translation. Your answers in such a simple matter as translating is just a joke!
It is not at all funny that you have forgotten about this topic in the help files.

How come this System is used by thousands of customers into dozens of languages without no issue by now? The translation process is a standard one for a WP Plugin and if you never done before is available a tutorial in Knowledge Base or you can get in touch with a support member but it can not be blamed the system for that.
Instead of renewing the support period you prefer to claim that is a bug and hoping getting fixed from nowhere.
Always when you have a problem with the rating, you write that someone does not renew the support period! Always. You never answer a question and do not fix it. Even when the plugin has disappeared from Envato for over a week, you wrote that this is an Envato problem and not yours. We are a large company. It’s not about $ 20, we had planned to buy about 10-15 licenses on Cyber Monday (we will spend over $ 10,000 this day). We can wait for 2 weeks. This is not a problem, and the matter is not urgent. It’s about the customer approach because even when we had an active support period, you did not answer simple questions. Same here. What is the problem to prove that we are wrong? Do you think that the company wants to save $ 20? Funny. On November 26, we would buy more licenses and then more in 2019, but you are like a garage seller. Your Support period have been expired for 2 months but you refuse to renew it and hope to get some help on different ways, a very common approach for a “big company” and which never used well known Poedit app.

This discussion is a waste of time. You’re wrong for two reasons:
1) Instead of wasting time, you should make a good help file. You did not have time for this, and there is no information about translations in the knowledge base. After all, it saves time for you and your clients – it testifies to your professionalism or rather its lack. You created the problem yourself.
2) Translation is one of the most straightforward activities. We have approx. 130 websites. If three people after 1h cannot translate something, it means that your system is not only unintuitive, but it is also weak. If someone is discussing you on such a simple topic as translation (the phrase “upload” translated into Loco and Poedit does not display after translation in translated language but only in English), it means something is wrong! This is not a problem but just a poor plugin in the subject of translation. We translated many pages (about 60). This is the first time we see such a poor translation system. Unfriendly. Chaotic and full of errors.
You’ve claimed “We never asked (we have 3 licenses) for help” and later “you did not answer simple questions” but is clearly that you have no justification for your accusation about support services. So are completely unreal. Your credibility is very suspicious.
Seriously, “130 websites” but you are not able to use Poedit even when a specific and complete tutorial with Video is provided. Mostly for sure all those counts are not real too and the main issue is only the extra fee for support requested by Envato.
We appreciated this plugin! Genuinely. We give it up because the translation functions are tragic and there is nothing on the subject in the help file and knowledge base. And we even find bugs!
We have planned purchases at Envato for over a year ago (we have a shopping calendar for the whole year). On Cyber Monday, we’ll spend about $ 30,000 saving about $ 30,000, not only on Envato. We have 3 companies and over 20 000 domains.

Stop sharing those unreal number ‘cause no ones will believe you. You claiming a budget of 30k but you can not spend few dollars for support or hire a proper developer to manage the basic settings in Poedit.
Comment section has a different purpose and avoid using for Support requests or to “advertise” your nonexistent value.
It is not the discussion about our expenses but your plugin and non-existent help system. You answered two comments – 2 links. Both talk about how to install Poedit (same movie, 2:38 sec.) and how to rename files via FTP.
ZERO information that the translation requires interference in several places. There are no examples in the knowledge base. You just spent a minimum of time on this, and your knowledge base is fiction! There is no translation subject. We gave examples of errors, and we get some hateful comments, not on the subject!
When we ask the devs of ARMemeber for your plugin, they ask us to analyse the quality of the code, etc. We do not need to do anything about it. Your knowledge base is a lie! There is no knowledge there, and you respond to every request for error removal – say someone has not spent $ 20 to know how to use Poedit.

When somebody tries to register it does not work and it always says this: Please complete all required fields! Even if disable everything that needs required fields..

I bought this plugin few days ago and still trying to work out something. I am basically trying to create a tuition centre website where I will have 2 membership levels (Student and Teacher). I have created 2 separate login forms one each for Student and Teacher and they are able to subscribe to their desired level. But I want a system which prevents them to change their membership level for example if I a student signs up as Student he should not be able to Subscribe to Teacher level from his dashboard Subscription page and if the Teacher Signs up as Teacher the system should prevent him from signing up as Student.
Possible?
I basically want to give them one option of subscribing to 1 level only and not from their dashboard where they can subscribe to other levels. 1 possible solution in my mind is to hide that panel from dashboard but it technically does not stop them from subscribing to other membership levels isnt it?
Students are automatically grouped into Subscribers Level whilst the teachers are automatically subscribed to Contributor level… If they are able to subscribe more levels automatically its not good
