All POI are provided by the service Google Places and there’s no way to customize them.

Hi, dear folks!
Asesome plugin so far. now i am setting up everything. I try to use the geo locating method. i activated it and also activated all APIs on Google that are listed. Now it still gives a error message when clinking on the buttom to locate. it says something about “give maps permission to use your location. “normaly it would ask if this website is allowed to use my location but this now is not…. i am very thankful for help, thanks. arno

Is it possible to load the carousel/list items depending on the user’s location as they first enter the website? At the moment I can see you’re able to sort the items by name, date etc. but can it be dependent on the users location so it shows the most relevant information first without using the filter?

I have just purchased the bundle and I am struggling to add the locations. I’ve created a post with Longitude and Latitude coordinates (search didn’t work) and published the post. However, it still doesn’t show up on the map.
I am also using a wordpress theme which uses Elementor, could that potentially be interfering with your plugin?

I was hoping I could discuss getting a refund for the Progress Map bundle. I purchased it yesterday and I am disappointed with the product. The List and Filter extension shows the error “Since the version 2.0, the “List & Filter” settings page has been removed. To create/edit your list & filter, follow these instructions:” and the directions immediately following as well as the instructions in the help documentation (https://codespacing.com/wordpress-plugins/progress-map-list-and-filter/documentation/user-guide/) don’t seem to work, because there is no way to activate/deactivate the extension.
The “Submit Locations” widget doesn’t even appear in the Progress Map settings menu, despite being installed and activated in Wordpress.
Those features are the 2 main reasons I purchased the bundle and tried Progress Map in the first place.
If you would please consider refunding my purchase I would greatly appreciate it.

Please note that the message you see in the menu “List & Filter” is not an error, it’s a message i’ve added to inform old customers that the settings of the extension “List & Filter” can know be found in the edit a map page.
Please note also that the “List & filter” documentation is an extension of “Progress Map” documentation. You first need to check “Progress Map” docs to see how you can get started and to create a new map, then, check the “List & filter” docs to see how you can activate it. The same thing goes for the extension “Submit locations”.
Here’s what you need to do:

I will try to explain in few steps to show the problem: 1. let’s say I am in page no. 2 of our objects page, and choose to go to any object of the page: https://gyazo.com/e2170d900e423c3f34317873c1c99682
2. I read the article and want to go back to the same page 2. I do click on browser back or refresh the current page and I get to page no. 1, unfortunately. It doesn’t return me to original page no. 2.
It is a small problem if we have only few pages like now, but when this website grows into bigger one, this will turn into bigger trouble.
What can you please suggest how could we solve this issue?

I see what you mean but it’s a normal behavior. The plugin uses AJAX which works differently than reloading the page. In case you want to prevent the “go back” issue, i suggess you open the single post page in a new tab or inside a modal. Hello guys ! I am having a problem with the front end of the plugin Submit Locations and their Settings.. when i have a category to add from backend they are in order : 1.Category -2.Sub-Category
But in the plugin backend settings Add/Edit taxonomies, sub-categories missing and are not related to them at all. This makes a BIG problem in frontend Submit Location Service
Please tell me what i can do that the Sub-Categories from backend goes with the same connection to the category in frontend form.

Hi, I already bought this bundle version. Why there is not last version of Progress map plugin? In bundle I have 4.3 but on Progress map plugin in codecanyon there is 4.4 what was few months ago and there also is information that last update was few days ago and there is no info in changelog. So do bundle have last version of all plugins ? And how can I update them? Can I update them like other plugins in WP? to just click update in Wordpress?

The idea of the plugin is to be connected with any (custom) post type. With that in mind, if you have so many locations to import, you simply need to use an exesting import tool that are already available online (WP has an import tools under “Tools => Import”), then, from the plugin settings, you can connect a map with your imported locations.

I very much hope that you will have time to look at our problem as quickly as possible – we simply cannot move on before your plugin is fully functional on our site.
I have a question more: How many web pages can I use the purchased version on? If a license can only be used on 1 web site, can you buy a multi-license for several web pages?

About the fact that you can’t display a nearby map with any location, please send me the login of your site so i can create some examples that you can follow. Please send the login to plugin.progressmap@gmail.com and mention your username (ikerboy) in your message.
To translate the plugin using WPML, do the following:
1. Download and install the plugins “WPML Multilingual CMS” and “WPML String Translation“.
2. Click on the menu “WPML / String translation”.
3. In the dropdown list “Select strings within domain”, select the option “cs_nearby_map”.
4. Start translating the plugin by clicking on the link “translations” next to each line. You can find the place names between the pages 8 and 19 of the pagination.

About the popup. You’ll have to create a custome single page template that displays only the content of your posts/pages. The plugin will automatically use it in the popup.

I am running into a few issues when I submit new locations.
ISSUE 1 – Submit Location Redirect: After I submit a location, it does go through, but when it redirects, it redirects to the home page (or whatever page the map is on), but the map is missing, but when I reload the page, it shows up again like normal.
ISSUE 2 – Image Gallery does not show up: When submitting a new location, the image gallery option is there, I upload a few images, but then when I go to the post after it’s created, there are no images (except the featured image).
ISSUE 3 – Custom fields set up for Submit Location do not show up in post
When I submit a new location and I fill out the info for custom fields, those custom fields do not show up on the post after creation. How do I get them to show up on the final post after submitting? (just the base title and description end up being posted, none of the extras for some reason)

I bought the bundle a couple of days ago, and get a successful install, but when i try to activate it, i get an error saying that argument #1 is not an array on line 331 of progress-map.php. I don’t seem to be able to use the plugin at all and did not realize that no support is available – is there either a way to work around the issue or to get a refund? (I’d much prefer to fix this as I really want the plug-in in to work!)
