Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase and for your appreciation for my work. :)

Can you tell me, please, how are you testing the plugin, so I can try to reproduce the issue you found on my test blog (please send me screenshots of your current plugin settings – and of the plugin front-end – when it is not working as expected)? Or, if possible, please send me temporary admin login credentials to your blog, so I can check it directly there. My email is kisded@yahoo.com

I like the look of this in the example site you provided, I bought it and signed up for an api, but how to get it to look just like in the example?

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

The look of the front end page is determined mostly of the theme you are using on your site. The demo site has this theme active: ‘Twenty Seventeen’ – please install it to your blog and activate it, the looks should be similar to my demo site afterwards.

Also, to learn more about using the plugin, please check it’s tutorial video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSbKWRErhEs

How much would it cost to hook up googles API service to your plugin? I am willing to pay for custom work.

Hello,

Thank you for your question. I am not aware of the existence of a Google API that could serve search results for a similar plugin to this one. Can you point it out to me, please?

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hello Szabi! Will your plugin search the content of PDFs that I upload into my website’s media directory?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

No, my plugin will not be able to do this. Instead, it will return search results from the internet, with matching websites for the query that was made. It uses the ContextualWebSearch API service, you can test it here (results will be similar):

https://www.contextualwebsearch.com/

hi,

Is it possible to make the search engine compatible with Bing API? And maybe a idea for a new plugin to add automatic copyscape api acces like this plugin:

https://codecanyon.net/item/copyscaper-run-your-posts-through-copyscape-directly-in-your-wordpress-dashboard/20716862

this plugin is sadly noy supported anymore

regards

Hello,

Thank you for these ideas, they are really good, I have added them to the idea list I will implement in the future. :)

Ya, I just purchased and I am experiencing the exact same as nwa1982 said above. Maybe ‘ContextualWebsearch’ has only crawled certain pages or domains? A different search engine api might work. An example I did was search ‘digital camera’ and not ONE result was an amazon.com product. How is that? And so then I added amazon.com as a required domain. after searching digital camera again with only amazon as domain it gave 0 results. That obviously is not correct, so something is not working right or contextualAPI has limited crawled urls. Can we use another api or search engine to display results from?

Hello,

Thank you for your purchase.

Well, ContextualWebSearch was the only search engine API that I found, that could be used in a plugin like this.

I will search for alternatives, and contact ContextualWebSearch to ask them about their crawling coverage.

Hi,

I have bought the search engine plugin. I have some problems, when i type a search term, it takes very long to get results. And when i got the results it displays very little pictures or videos. When i just go to google or bing and search for same term i find a lot more and its much quicker. Is there a way to speed things up and give more results?

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

Can you send me, please, temporary admin login credentials to your WordPress install, so I can check this issue out? Send it, please, to my email address: kisded@yahoo.com.

can this plugin do a Replace by domain? For example, any time a search query resulted an Amazon product, instead of amazon.com/product-page it could have affiliate link? like amazon.com/&id=mytrackingid20/productpage …

please update this comment when that feature is there and I will surely buy. I would like a one stop place for my clients & friends to search for products and if it is from one of the affiliate sites, my link is auto replaced.. This should be quite simple; if your results return as an array, you can add IF domain match function ‘amazon.com’ replace with $admin_entered_item.. . . etc. . I dont know how the search script works, just tryin to help think on it maybe for you. Tryin to assist, it would be cool to have ;)

sure, I will think on this ;)

Regards.

Hello,

I added the feature you suggested. Please check the tutorial video I made for it, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZT40VsH8QBs

Hi,

I have installed the update, but i cant see where i can put in the websites i want the plugin to search in. can you help me

regards

Hello,

Please search for the settings fields named ‘Required Domain List’ and ‘Banned Domain List’, found in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’. Please be sure you are using plugin version 1.0.2, or newer.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hi,

Is it possible to pre install specific websites the plugin is allowed to search in. I want to create a adult tube search engine. I want the search results only come from the tube sites i allow.

Regards

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

I updated the plugin to v1.0.2, added new settings fields in ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Banned Domain List’ and ‘Required Domain List’.

These will filter results domains, please check.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Great plugin. I just purchased it, I am looking for more updates on it! How can I get the search button under the search bar like google has?

Well, unlike the other ideas, this is something specific, not widely used. I can do this as a payed custom update, only.

Regards.

How much would this cost?

Please send me an email to kisded@yahoo.com and we can discuss this.

Regards.

hi, i brought !! that mega bundle !! i wanna know how do i add my site to the search !! like google has google webmaster to add site, whats in this one?!! and how to do it!!

Hello,

I have searched for this on the ContextualWebSearch website, but did not find any useful info about it. I will contact them directly at their support email here: support@contextualwebsearch.com

Nice Work,

Congratulations! Good Luck With Sale

Thank you. :)

Pretty Cool – Can this be set up so search is on one page and the results are on a results page similar to contextualwebsearch.com / google.com. Instead of ajax showing on the page with the shortcode.

Hello,

Just want to let you know that I made an update for the plugin to implement your suggestion. I added a new shortcode to it to redirect visitors to a new page and display search results there:

[panopticon-search-redirect redirect_page='FULL_URL_OF_THE_PAGE_WHERE_THE_MAIN_SHORTCODE_IS_INSTALLED' search_type='all']

Please check it on plugin’s live demo: https://coderevolution.ro/panopticon-test/test-generator/
