Will your product still work If we switch our server from MySQL 5.5 to MariaDB 10.2 ?
While still using MyISAM tables ?
Plugin uses wp options API to save settings in the database. You can back up those settings by “download JSON”. Not sure how MariaDB 10.2 works, if other plugins / themes work then this plugin will also work.

You can add any html content on flipbook pages. Sorry I don’t understand what do you mean by “link on text image”.

Hi. When open a book, initial zoom of pages is too small. Default Initial Zoom value is at 0.85 and I try to change to bigger and lower values. Nothing changes. I’m using the latest version of the plugin (v3.4.5.1). Please help. Thanks
Nevermind… Problem resolved. I created new flipbooks after the update. All is working.
Great plugin. Best I’ve found and tried many. Are their any plans to add a button to the standard wordpress editor to insert the books on a post page? We have hundreds of ebooks so search ability would be ideal. Also, we are using it on a site using the new gutenberg. Having the ability to add it from a block would be nice.

Hey man! So I have a pdf flipbook of around 122 pages. The pages load perfectly except there are 1 or 2 pages that don’t load at all.
I checked chrome dev console and saw the following error: pdf.min.js:1 Uncaught Error: Requesting object that isn’t resolved yet Helvetica_path_. at b (pdf.min.js:1) at e.t [as get] (pdf.min.js:1) at e.t [as getPathGenerator] (pdf.min.js:1) at n.t [as paintChar] (pdf.min.js:1) at n.t [as showText] (pdf.min.js:1) at n.t [as executeOperatorList] (pdf.min.js:1) at e.t [as _next] (pdf.min.js:1)
and that error only appears when I flip to one of the pages that wont load. I’m not a coder by I feel the error involves the Helvetica font?

Looks like this is a pdf.js issue that hasn’t been fixed yet https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/issues/4244.
Workaround would be to edit the pdf and rasterize (converto to outlines) that pdf page.

Hi! Just recently, I noticed that now you have to be an “admin” to use this on Wordpress. Previously, I had an “editor” that made the flip books, but now they get a “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” message when they try to go to the flip books navigation tab. Just wondering what’s up, and why this started when support expired… great plugin, otherwise! Thanks!!

You didn’t got my question I think. If i create multiple flipbooks(magazine 1, magazine 2 …. etc) then, how to show them in a grid?? the first page of a flipbook will be the thumbnail and all the flipbooks will show in grid. If someone clicks on a single flipbook the the book opens the relevant flipbook.

I checked on mobile Chrome, everything works. Also checked on Safari on iPad and it works so not sure what is the problem. Try setting lower texture size for mobile or view mode 3d.

Currently no, it supports only horizontal flip and swipe. Vertical flip and swipe will be added in one of future updates.

I’m trying to upload a few documents (PDF) but I noticed there’s an error every time a document has 165 pages or more.
There’s almost no information about the error, I just see this alert “Status: error” followed by “Error: Not Found”

You can save flipbook once you select pdf, you don’t need to wait for all preview pages to generate.

Hi, in lightbox settings you can set CSS for lightbox thumbnail, by default it has padding 10px, you can remove that. To make thumbnail bigger you need to change thumbnail height and generate thumbnail again (this is available in latest version 3.5.4). Lightbox background can be set to any color, to have it semi-transparent you need to put rgba value for example
rgba(0,0,0,0.5)

Why the thumbnails are showing one by one below each other? You changed something in the plugin? They used to show one beside other in two pages and i cant find the option anywhere.

The system is using the same server that does not pull pdf files from another server. Please do not experience this problem in your modzilla browser, but please see a crome that helps you resolve this issue.
So the issue is solved? I just tested with Chrome and it works…
