Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to give for example, the rounded bubble thumbnail a link. For example give it a href so when I click it, it goes to another page.
Thanks!

Hello,
I need to display 4 different kind of CPT in the map. How to do this ? I found how to select a MAIN CPT, where can I select other CPT ? Many thanks for your help, this plugin rox
Hello ?
There is no “secondary post types” in Query settings. I have selected 5 different post types in Progress map settings
Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Please accept my sincere apologies.
About your question. Please note that there was never an option to display multiple post types in one map. I’ll explain.
In the previous version 2, there was no option to create multiple maps. To create a map, there was only one settings panel/page. To create a new map, you had to use the shortcode attributes to override the main map settings.
In that settings panel (v2), you had to connect your main map to a main post type which you can select in the field “Main post type”. The option “Secondary post types” was only available to inform the plugin that you also need to create more maps related to different other (csutom) post types. By selecting secondary post types, the plugin will add a form allowing to add a post/location to the map when you add or edit a post.
To display a map on your frontend page, you had to add the attribute “post_type” to the shortcode and specify the name of your post type. There was no option to add multiple post types!
Here’s a post about using multiple post types in v2. Check it for more info https://codespacing.com/progress-map-version-2/documentation/tutorials-and-how-to/connect-the-plugin-with-multiple-custom-post-types-then-display-posts-of-each-post-type-in-different-maps/
Now in v3, the field “Secondary post types” was removed because now you can create multiple maps, each map have its own settings panel/page. Nothing has changed regarding using multiple post types on the same. You can connect a map to one post type only.
I hope i answered your question.
Thank you for your patience
Hi,
I have recently purchased the Progress Map Wordpress plugin and in general I am very happy with it. I did some research and this was the only plugin that handled maps in the way I was looking for.
However, I have run into a couple of problems and I am hoping that you will be able to help me resolve these.
1) When I place a map on the custom post type using the following shortcode [cspm_static_map zoom=”16” infobox_link_target=”disable” show_secondary=”no” map_style=”bentley”] it does not render the map in the “bentley” style. I followed the instructions to get the name correct but it doesn’t seem to be taking this information into account when rendering the map, instead it is using the default Google map style. You can see this here: https://www.morethanwitches.com/place/ledger/
2) Also, I am using a static map on this page and I do not want it to be clickable. I just want to show a static map with a pinned location. Using the same shortcode (above) I have been able to disable the infobox link but the map marker continues to be clickable. How can I stop that? You can see this behaviour on the same page: https://www.morethanwitches.com/place/ledger/
Your help to resolve these issues would be very much appreciated.
Thanks again for creating a great plugin.
Best Wishes,
James.
Hi, please can you get back to me regarding this open support ticket.
It is now 14 days since I reported my two issues to you and I am still waiting for a response. I really would appreciate some helpful feedback and a resolution. Please respond to my support request.
Hi,
So sorry for the late response.
1. The shortcode seems correct and there’s no issue regarding this option. You can see a working example at https://codespacing.com/wordpress-plugins/progress-map/demos/map-styles/ . However, i think the problem is that you’ve did not select the option “Progress Map => Default map settings => Initial style => Custom style”. It’s required to select this option to activate the custom styles. Please select this option and try again.
2. To disable the link on the marker, please edit your post and select the option “Format & Media => Format => Standard”.
Thank you for your patience
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Issue #1 – Yes, you were correct, this is now resolved. Thank you.
Issue #2 – I had already done as you suggested and it did not work. However, the latest plugin update (3.9) seems to have fixed this problem.
So my two initial issues are fixed!
Unfortunately, the latest plugin update (3.9) also seems to have introduced two new problems for me. You can see these by looking at this page on a mobile device: https://www.morethanwitches.com/places/eat/
1) When I tap on the cluster image (showing 2) it opens the map but in the wrong location, it does not show the 2 places it should. I have to manually move the map to locate the pins. This is not consistent – sometimes it does open in the correct location. How can I ensure that when the cluster icon is tapped that it always shows the appropriate content?
2) But even when it does open in the correct location it is now showing two floating carousel items on the map. I have carousel items set to “hide” so I do not know why this is happening. It only started after the latest plugin update (3.9). Please can you tell me how to prevent these carousel items from being displayed?
Thanks very much for your help to date.
James.
Hi,
Can you please update to the version 3.9.1 and try again.
Thank you
Hi,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, I was away for a few days. I have now done as you suggested and upgraded to the latest version (3.9.2) and issue #1 (cluster image opening the wrong location on the map) is now resolved – thank you. However, #2 (clicking on the cluster image causes floating carousel items to appear on the map) unfortunately still remains. This behavior is only apparent on my mobile phone.
As before you can see this if you at this page on a mobile phone: https://www.morethanwitches.com/places/eat/ and then click on the cluster image.
Thanks again for your help to date.
James.
Hi,
I confirm. I’ll fix that issue very soon.
Thank you
Great, thanks very much, I will look forward to hearing back from you soon.
do you have an idea why all images specially the ones in the infoboxes are loading so slow?—> https://www.zugohome.com/stores/ thank you. cem
Hello,
My client is looking for something like:
In our case, the SG map with the title & 1-liner summary/project category of the project.
We would be putting the projects based on the category (e.g. architectural engineering, asset management etc.) and would like the user to be able to select the category they are keen in.

Let me know, thanks!
I get the following error message:ReferenceError: map_layout is not defined. Please help me to solve this error.

I love the progress map, but for whatever reason, the plugin does not show the markers on the map in IE 11. It works fine on all other browsers. Has this come up before and what is the solution? http://encore.bz/investments/ Thanks!
Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Please accept my apologies.
You have displayed your shortcode between the HTML tags “pre”. Please edit your map page, click on the “Text Editor” tab of your page content, then, make sure the shortcode looks like this:
[cs_main_map]
not like this:
<pre>[cs_main_map]</pre>

Hi! The search function doesn’t work on my map. If you click on search button nothing happens. The same happens with the “filter” and your position”, buttons don’t work.
Can you help me?? Here can you see an example map on my site, but I have the same problem with all of them: http://www.laboratorioscalduch.com/example/
Note: I have updated my theme and all the others plugins. Thanks!

I’m wondering what the scaling limit others are finding with the plugin is? We have about 800 locations that we’re querying on but the page load is blowing out to 20+ seconds. I’ve tried reducing the number of results but since there is no way to order results by distance from the users location, this severely restricts the result set if the default ordering doesn’t happen to include results in the searched area.
Further, is there a way to restrict the autocomplete search results to one country? This would be a valuable addition I feel.
Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Please accept my sincere apologies.
Please update to the latest version 3.9.1. The slow loading issues are now solved.
About the autocomplete search, there’s unfortunately no option to restrict it to one country.
Thank you for your patience
Hi again,
The autocomplete restrictions feature will be available soon in the next version 4.0.
Thank you
Thanks for the responses Codespacing!
I have updated but the map markers are now taking over a minute to render – worse than before unfortunately.
We are using Kinsta hosting so I’m confident it’s not a resource issue.
I have regenerated markers and reset a lot of things to try and make it work.
Any further ideas?
Hi,
Please send me the link of your map to check this.

Thanks, I just sent you an email.
Hi,
Just replied to your message.
Thank you
purchase code: d61d3fcd-55ca-415c-ab04-e7807468ba48
after I set all map information into post type, when I put the code [codespacing_progress_map post_type=”page”] in the post than when I open the post I see the message “not Map Available”
Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Please accept my apologies.
You need to add the map ID to the shortcode using the attribute “id”. Please find more at https://codespacing.com/wordpress-plugins/progress-map/documentation/shortcodes/cspm_main_map/
Please note that since version 3, the shortcode to use is “cspm_main_map”!
Thank you for your patience
Hi, I still have an issue with the displaying of the post when you click on them on the map. Could you please help me with this? Thanks a lot Cheers

Hey,
I love the plugin, however I am having a small problem. The carousel doesn’t want to show up on my theme. The Map shows a loading symbol continuously along with the outline frame for the carousel but it’s blank. is there a specific format W&H that the image needs to be in. Any help will be appreciated.
Hello, I’m considering buying this plugin, but I have a question. In my blog I talk about restaurants, and each post has several related categories. Example: Price 20-30 40-50 ... Ambient Classic Modern ... Assessment 5 6 7 ...
I would like to know if I could show grouped category filters.
Thank you

Why is the ground overlay (image) not linkable?
Thanks
The polygons don’t show either. And every point is between [ ] and separated with a comma…
I see a green ‘supported’ sign, it’s been 2 weeks of no support!
Why is there a white BIG border around Google?
Why s there a text overflow-x?
Hi,
Sorry for the late response. Please accept my sincere apologies.
Please send me the link of your map to check the grey screen and the polygon issues.
Why is the ground overlay (image) not linkable?
- I’ll try to add this option in a future update.
