Hello, thank you for your query. Main difference with connect and follow is that connect requires user to accept connection with other user. Users can follow as many users as they like and they don’t required approvement. In order to follow user you need to go to use profile and click follow and connection can be done in members page.
what is the benefit of following a user, what will both of the users get?
When a user follows other user he/her will receive notifications about users’ activity.

svg avatar is literally the only feature I require, it seems doubtful from the comments that this plugin offers any such integration. Since integration is stated, if it isn’t actually a feature then I would need to request a refund.

Hello, thank you for being interested in our plugin. You can disable this, that other members cannot see another profile. There is a setting in UserPro -> Settings -> Profile settings -> Allow guests to view other profiles and Allow members to view other member profiles. You cannot put restriction for the URL, but you can put the restriction for the page or post. If any unanswered question left, let us know. Best regards!

Hello, yes it’s possible. laurenceX has to have specific user role and lauren will have access to only specific pages.

Social login is working via Facebook API, UserPro plugin does not save Facebook profile URL at all.

Why Can I not view other member profile? I have set it up so both guest and users can view other member profile pic. But when I click view member pic it redirects to my own profile

Hello, if there is a user with the same name, then the numbers would be added after his/her name. You can change this in the UserPro -> Settings -> Replace Display Name with custom field and set it to user_login.

Im having an issue with cache & speed with this plugin. When I deactivate it I notice my cache control response headers goes back to normal. but when this plugin is activated it goes cache-control: no-cache, must-revalidate, max-age=0 . I need the plugin to stop adding input to the response header

Firstly want to say thank for your product, currently we plan to buy it. But before 1 question we want to ask: is it possible to create additional kind of registration/profile – whom anyone can register, publish post on it wall and follow. But nobody will have access to login into it (only admin)?
I will took an example: for example I’m user and I want to create “public profile” for type of flower, but I don’t need access to this account, so that anyone can post their flower pictures/histories on this profile and rate this public profile.

Hello, you can set that users are Required Admin Approval, if you (as administrator) won’t approve ‘flower’ user then users can’t login to this account. But you need to approve regular users.

hi, I wrote on the forum, contacted the support, but no one has yet answered and it’s been almost a week … I just have to write here:
I updated the plug-in to the latest version, but after the update I had a lot of problems.
The plug-in called up non-existent pages, so I tried to recreate the pages from “Setup Pages”, but MANY duplicate pages are created.
I tried to delete all the duplicate and “original” pages of UserPro and emptied the trash, but the problem remains.
I have also tried to restore the plug-in with the “Re-Install” option, but the problem remains.
I changed the slugs, deactivated plug-ins that clone pages, but more than 60 pages are always created. I also believe that the plug-in overloads the request server and the site goes into error 503
I have the latest version of WP and WPML installed.
I did some tests and probably the problem is due to the latest version of WPML.
If WPML is disabled, userPro pages are created correctly. if WPML is active, the pages are duplicated in the default site language and in other languages, the pages are absent.

Hi, when using FB connect I get a message that I need to submit my app for some extra permissions from FB is there anyway I can make it so these permissions aren’t necessary can I shut them off in some way? If not can you please tell me each permission as facebook wants to know. God I hate the FB API changes all the time. Thanks for your help and awesome script!
Hello, this is a new requirement for the Facebook. All old apps should be reviewed. There are no special permissions, you can see all the permissions in the App Review.
