Will it be possible to sync data of people in lists from a CRM software or a Google spreadsheet to Acelle automatically in realtime? How often will the sync take place? Are there any limitations to it?

Hello @pranav0505. Acelle Mail does support integration API. You can program your application to periodically invoke Acelle Mail LIST api to update your mail list. Regards.

I am setting up the first sending server (Amazon API). Here’s the list of things I think i did well :

Created verified Amazon SMS account Requested Access keys (access key ID and secret access key) Verified my domain, email (domain email), DKIM successfully

When i tried to send a test email (to vuinavideo@gmail.com, from my domain email), an error occured: “Error executing “SendRawEmail” on “https://email.us-east-1.amazonaws.com”; AWS HTTP error: Client error: `POST https://email.us-east-1.amazonaws.com` resulted in a `400 Bad Request` response: Sender MessageReje (truncated…) MessageRejected (client): Email address is not verified. It seems you are specifying the FROM email address for an unverified domain. http://prntscr.com/hb2crc To send campaign emails from [any]@yourdomain.com for example, you need to first verify yourdomain.com with Amazon See AWS guideline here: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/verify-domain-procedure.html

I’m running an automation with 1 list and one sending server. I update the automation every few days with new emails and save this. Yesterday I added another sending server to my list and a another list to the same automation. Overnight my leads got flooded with emails every 10 minutes so I had to disable the automation.

Now I changed everything back, one list in the automation and one sending server but it still happen.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Hello @rsgehlot. Acelle Mail does support ANY SMTP provider. You can just obtain the SMTP credentials from the provider and set up an SMTP connection to their service.

i just bought this application and in the SMTP setup page – i get this error “Can’t connect to SMTP server”

what is the host name for elasticemail – i am using the right smtp credentials but its not connecting – so there must be some thing wrong with host name – should i i put smtp.elasticemail.com in host name or something else.

It seems you did not setup the cronjob on your hosting server yet Cronjob is needed for actually sending email campaigns, updating the listing as well as verifying/importing/exporting Please go to Admin View > Setting > All Settings > Background Job Then capture the cronjob generated by Acelle Mail and install it into your hosting server.

Is there a way to ALLOW email duplicates in the same list?

Hello @actihost. Email is used to uniquely identify a contact in list. So, I’m afraid we have to go with this constraint.

I understand, the problem is that some customers needs to send for example: invoice notifications to a few sisters business that use the same email for that notifications. is there a way to allow that based in the other identifiers?

Hi, I was not able to view lists while creating campaigns. I have added cron job and turned off mod security also still I am not able to view the list in campaign page. Also I am facing problem with template thumbnail as it is not generating. Please address this as soon as possible. Thanks.

I have a problem with subscriber in my list. I created a list and added subscribers, but in the list page it always shows me 0 subscribers so I can not create a campaign because it can not find a list. Can you help me?

the stats doesn’t work. It does not track the open email / clicks etc. When i use HTML email template, i can’t click next, it will go back to the same page.

Can i limit resellers sending capacity? so if they create their own plans and users they must use the assigned main capacity or buy more credits/upgrade reseller plan?

Hello @actihost. That means that i have to create a specific sending server to each reseller right? -> Yes

Regarding disable sending server: you can find it in the plan setting (tab Sending Server)

I create a plan and then select just the sending server that i already created for the reseller, but when i enabled the “Create” plan option in the Reseller group, they still can see the Sending Servers in their plan creation section (Use own sending servers, use sub account of systems sending server) This is what i dont want to they can access.

1. It depends on your server’s capability as well as the actual sending service you are using. There is no limitation at Acelle Mail at all

2. Yes, our app is open source. Once purchased, you are free to customize it the way you desire.

3. We are working actively on the project and hopefully we can add more to the API soon

FYI: I notice that the cron job was not the problem with the subscribers CSV import error “email not found” , dependig of your OS region configuration, Excel will save CSV files with SEMICOLON ( ; ) as separators, not coma ( , ). You should update urgently the importer so it can reconize both (or better, the XLS – XLSX itself) . It was a hell found what was the problem and teaching each customer how to change that in their OS (Windows and Mac). You will save time for your app users and avoid A LOT of support request about this issue as far i can see.

There is a way to change the default fields that are created with each list?

You can go to the List details > Custom Fields to add or remove custom fields for your list. For example, you can add PHONE, ADDRESS fields besides the default ones EMAIL, NAME.

So the nonsense is continuing. 54,000 ghost emails sent last month from my server off a domain where Acelle mail is installed but never used. No accounts created and no users registered. 46,000 emails from another domain where Mailfit is installed in a Wordpress installation, again with no user activity on the domains. All emails from my server are now going to spam. I am forced to delete the both websites from my server and hopefully my sender reputation will recover.

Last year I brought it to your attention that this was happening at a rate of over 5000 emails a day. It seems you simply turned down the rate to 1,000 emails a day and hoped I wont notice, and I didn’t for some time until everything started hitting the spambox again and I checked this morning. Lo and behold. You guys are criminals. Enough is enough. If anyone is reading this run a “Sent Summary” report on WHM for the last month and you will be unpleasantly surprised. Good luck. I will no longer be using this. I will also copy to a review so future buyers are aware.
