a very useful feature would be if the pictures i choose in the gallery, are displayed how they are .. i mean without fading slideshow or nivo slider … simply as a gallery, maybe with “rows” & “col” options ? ...

no, there’s no any front end editing options, only from wp backend (as usual). Can’t say anything about jQuery mobile, because I don’t actually understand the question. As far as I know jQuery mobile is a separate product. If you are asking, if visual composer is using it, then no it doesn’t use jqm.
I am interested in trying out Visual Composer but have two pre-sales questions. 1) I am only interested in how it works in the Wordpress Front end, how much functionality is available from the front end? 2) I am also going to be using this in conjunction with jQuery Mobile, so jQuery 1.7.1 support is a must and I also need to know if you think it will/could work when initialised on pages that are added to the dom by jQuery mobile or if it is dependent on document(ready) to work?

On the front end Visual Composer generates html + required js. It works find with latest jQuery and yes it relies on the document ready. (firing js, that is used for some of the elements, like tabs or sliders)
Hello, one thing: when i use VC to build some content, i can’t insert to post an image with text block because the “insert to post” button doesn’t appears, just appears the “erase” button, i don’t know why, I am using Protein theme from themforest with WP 3 .3.1, the hosting server is Hostalia. Can you help me?, the Protein theme is the guilty?, VC doesn’t works well?. Any solution for this case? Thanks

Having an issue with the composer. After saving one of the pages it pushes everything off to the right where you cannot access it. Only on this page though. All the other pages I used the composer on are just fine and I can access and edit them with no problems. Here is a screenshot.

Did you paste any html in Visual Composer? If so, it could brake html markup and lead to this result
One more thing, after saving a post as draft and then trying to re-edit it—the VC is no longer available.

Just purchased the plugin, however, I have one question. Is there a way to have the gallery feature above the title?
This is “in control” of your theme. your theme outputs elements in that sequence and to change that you’ll need to modify your template files. If you are not familiar with php it may be a hard task for you.
I cannot edit the columns. They appear when I select them, but I can only delete the column itself, and not insert content within it…..
Columns are just a “containers” there’s nothing to edit. To place content inside of it. Place column (from popular layouts section) into the stage and then drag item from “content elements” into that column.

I purchased the Visual composer, but running into some problems with the teaser grid.
- is it possible to change the plain text size and color into the theme’s size and colour. Now it’s just standard size and black. - When i place an image within a post it does not automatically generate a thumbnail in the teaser grid. I have to set a featured image. - When i show full content, the image placed within the post is showed full size in the teaser grid. - Is it possible to change the “read more” into something else. The site i’m building is for Dutch people.
It would be awesome to have some more controls for the teaser grid, the way it is now, it’s not useable for me, and i really need this for my clients theme.
You can change “read more” text, by providing a translation to the plugin with .po file. All strings are outputted with __(); or _e(); function, so it’s easy to translate plugin according to WP standards.
To control image size you can enter “thumbnail size” in teaser grid.

Imagesize can only be set for the featured image. When i place an image into the post whit a size of 800 px x 500 px and set the teasergrid on full content, then the image in the content is showed full size. Is it possible that the image placed with the post automatically becomes the thumbnail for the teasergrid.
Another question about the teaser grid:
If a hyperlink is placed into a post, the teaser grid does not show the hyperlink. Instead it’s just plain text like the rest. Do you have a solution for that? I just found out it does show the hyperlink when full content is set.
Another thing, it realy would be awesome to have more controls over the teaser grid, like having the option to show the read more or not or having an image/button set for that, how many characters to show.

I was using CKEditor and just purchased VC. I found CK not compatible with VC and therefore deactivated it. When editing text block in VC, the editor falls back to the default WP editor but I saw in your demo it is a much functionally enriched editor, e.g, with Heading 1, 2, 3 selection, etc. What is the problem?
Before switching to Visual Composer mode, make sure that default WP editor is in the Visual mode.

I worked with WP 3 .3.1 and every things was all right
Unfortunately I had to get back at version 3.2.1 (for an important plugin compatibility) and VC is present but not active any more
When I click on one of its menu item, nothing occurs (of course with different browsers)
I have desactivated it, deleted it and reinstalled it but nothing has changed
if you see a solution, it will be greatly appreciated

This plugin uses some of the new WP 3 .3 features and you should ask your provider to update php version in order to be up to date.

your plugin looks greaT, is it possible to set the backgound onn a 2/3 + 1/3 row – so that it appears as one darker element with images and text?
