I do not agree about response time comment. most of author here have 24-48 hours turn around as we are selling products way more cheaper then you get directly on internet. so, obviously cant be possible to provide assistance immediately. we surely would reply if support staff is free. but, for your convenience its not possible that we break our system. if you need any further assitance kindly communicate through helpdesk. As if we start entertaining you this way then it will be unfair to those customers who are patiently waiting for their turn.

ticket [#005476] is more thank 24 hours.. i have updated it now with “uploaded files is not sent to emails when a form is submitted. how can this be fixed:

well i just checked your case. you had originally opened ticket about recaptcha issue and then you just wrote one line about file upload. if you keep adding different issues in same ticket then you gonna have to give some time to support guy. you cant just order about fix.

helpdesk is to assist you so, if you have any configuration related issue information about which you DO NOT find in support documentation then support people can point you in right direction.

like in this case, you simply had not turned switch on to attach file with email option in field options. next time please have patience as i wont be able to entertain this way. you will have to wait for your turn and you also will have to understand that support does not mean we fix your configuration.

recaptcha we have removed from main product as we already have added invisible(captcha free) anti-spam mechanism in our forms. so, you dont need to use recaptcha anymore to present spam.

still if you want then you can install as addon as we have given recaptcha addon free of charge.

if you already are in 2.7.8 then you should get notification in your plugins list page. Just click it and that’s it. If you don’t see it then open support ticket at helpdesk. Also for manual update its pretty easy. just need to overwrite arforms plugin folder and thats it. but you should take backup of entire site before doing update. And yes, point is noted, we would create such small video to teach people how to do it.

we have given huge update on arforms with tons of new features. if you have any caching plugin then first clear all cache and hopefully it will solve your problem.

And also had mentioned in big red font that before updating please take full backup. And i am sure you must have taken backup. so, please restore it to previous version.

A couple more suggestions I thought about as I’ve used QuForms, NEX-Forms, and others and quite like ARForms the best so far, however, here a few things I loved in the others I would love to see brought into ARForms.

1. For the icons we can place in fields, it would be great to have them with a transparent background rather than the grey they are now.

2. For Notifications, it would be great to send them to multiple “admins”, although not a critical feature by any means, just a nice thought

3. For Dropdowns, it would be great to have “Please Select” as a default rather than the first of the box. I got around this by having “Please Select” as an option, however, it’s not really a valid option.

sorry for all the trouble. As we had migrated our server so, issue had happened and finally all issues related to helpdesk are resolved so, you can use our helpdesk and maintain your privacy too.

1. there is conditional submission option on option area. if you check in documentation then i think its explained. for better step by step guide kindly open ticket and support staff will give you in depth detail on this.

2. Well, at present arforms is providing support of basic fields for all optin like it is most other form builder and popup plugins. But soon we are bringing addon for mailchimp advance integration. please mention about that too in support ticket so, as soon as addon becomes available they can inform you.

Also, are you aware of any conflicts which are causing field settings to be saved but then empty on next edit and no entries being saved to the database after submission?

OK, I have found out that the overwriting of the settings was actually a browser issue.

The submissions not being saved to the database seems, however, to be connected with the user signup addon. When a form is mapped to profile fields it does not save, making it useless for situations when only part of the form contains profile fileds. Is this a bug or a feature? If a feature, can it be deactivated?

Helpdesk issue are fixed now you can open support tickets without problem. will answer current questions here and then for future you can open ticket.

1) we are not giving facility to add more than one field in a single column as it does not seem necessary for most of the people .

2) spacing between column is not there in editor area but there is space in frontend. we just given a seperator in editor only.

3) when you map any form with user signup edit profile then logically there is no need to create new entry every time as why anybody would need it. Of course profile data will be saved but creating form entires is not logical.

1. 2.7.5 is very old version. i would suggest backup your entire site and then update to 3.0 and forms etc will be updated.
