Hello, let’s start again with the music project with this script, I have seen that they have made some changes and added some features.
The main reason for this is that we want a platform to sell.
I remember that in the script, there was a “buy link” option. It would be great to have 2 options to upload, one the “demo” and the other the full track. The complete track will be shown once purchased. If this is not an option to implement in your script and you just want to keep an upload option, the track has to be encrypted in some way to avoid using software to get the track without buying. Why do I suggest this? For the simple reason that it makes no sense to upload a demo and place a “buy link” to acquire it on another platform, unless I’m wrong on how your idea works.
Could you explain a brief description of how user privileges work in the admin panel to know what to activate or deactivate?

But the idea would be viable if you allow the upload of 2 demo and main files, while buy link, would be used for external purchases. Is there no chance to make an addon using stripe? I think what comes closest to what I’m looking for is your plugin wp com player, the bad thing is that the UI is not so easy to imitate this portal, plus it could not be a social network (no followers, playlists) , it would be a net marketplace and I look for a fusion of both. I saw that you were doing a new plugin or something like that.

Awwwwwwww…..the facebook login has stop working. It says “The domain of this URL isn’t included in the app’s domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings. “

Hello Mr Radu, Greetings! The similar tracks are not working properly. For example if i am playing Hip hop it show me similar hipHop tracks, not Rock or Pop, but that is what it does. It shows you a random tracks as similar tracks and that doesn’t make any sense.
Secondly, there is suppose to be a comment tag on the track wave, well that doesn’t show on mine. How do we fix this, please?

Similar tracks are based on tags. Did some tests and works fine. The ones with the most similar tags are placed first in that menu.

Ok, Radu, thanks. The Tag wasn’t working well before but i figured it out.
Another thing, i was hoping that the download would generate a thumbnail from the site, so when the downloaded track is play it shows thumbnail of from the site or the artist’s thumbnail just the way it is with similar music sharing platform.

But if you mean add site thumbnail ID3 to mp3 could be a little harder in php , especially in Shared hosting ( non vps, non dedicated ones )

Congratulations Mr. Radu, zoomportal is now perfect, I just run the new update and everything is just wow, however there is just 2 minor issues which I think you can update by Monday;
1. I noticed that the .MP3 files are changed to .mp3 during upload but the audio file directory registered by the player is still .MP3 thereby it gives a missing audio file prompt “undefined” kindly check that.
2. The initial issue where after submitting a track it just takes you straight to the explore page and you don’t find the uploaded track on the site, yes that issue has also returned, you fixed it before so kindly check and fix it again, thanks.

Hello Mr. Radu, please kindly check, it looks like album submission is not working properly, after clicking submit it takes you to the explore page without any record of your recent album upload or sometimes it fails to generate the wave player hence you cannot play the uploaded album, thanks.
Clearly, issue number 2 and 3 still exist, after uploading a track sometimes it just takes you straight to the explore page after submitting, kindly look into the issue 2 and 3 above for us, thanks.

Also I just realized that the search overlay in mobile mode does not show the search box unless you scroll down, if you can help with that too, it will be cool.

Nope, not fixed! I just deleted every zoomportal data on my server and re-installed it to be sure but errors still persist!
Errors re-numbered:
1. Sometimes when you upload a single track it just takes you straight to the explore page without showing the uploaded track after clicking submit!
2. Same thing happens for album uploads and PLEASE NOTE! After uploading the first track on an album the form flashes without waiting for the rest of the tracks to be fully uploaded and after the rest have been fully uploaded, it does not flash anymore, so when you submit the album and you are lucky it does not take you straight to the explore page but shows the player for the uploaded album, note that only the first rack on that album will play, the others are undefined!
3. You were able to resolve the issue with the upper case extensions of the audio files however the upper case file name is posing a problem, I just uploaded a single track mp3 whose file name and extension are both upper case and the main file on the server after the upload was having it’s name in upper case but the extension in lower case whereas the player registered the file data in full lower case therefore prompting “undefined”
These are serous cases you should look at immediately, thanks!
4. Please also note that during your recent update you fixed the issue with similar tracks appearing on a track page but you caused some other error, the tracks without thumbnail looks disorganized in a list, you can see an example at the right side of the explore page where it says “Most liked” Please can you make it look like it used to?

Hello Mr. Radu, you can see that other buyers are complaining about the email field on the installer which I alerted you about earlier, nobody can install zoomportal now until you are able to fix that! The issues are 3 in total and I emailed them to you earlier.
1. Error with blank page for newly registered users or normal users, you said it was memory issue but it proved otherwise.
2. The email field for the installer is malfunctioning just as other buyers are also complaining about now.
3. The liked track on a user’s profile does not load more results on scroll.
Please try to check and fix them or new users will face the same issues too! Cheers, Newhope.

4. You now added the feature to split uploaded albums into their various tracks on the explore page but if you click on these individual tracks it leads you to an error 404 page, please kindly look into that too! Album tracks lead to error 404 from the explore page.

I just realized you updated it on my main domain and issue 2 is resolved but the update you sent to me via email has not changed and the one on my main domain still has issue 1 and 3 unresolved, thanks.
Very urgent: issue number 4. the shopping cart wont stay to be clicked when you hover on it’s icon, making it very difficult for users to get to the checkout page, may I suggest you even make the icon to link you to the checkout page when you click on it and only display the contents when you hover, please this is a very serious issue you must tackle for us quickly otherwise users cannot upgrade to PRO unless on their cell phones!!!
Issue 5. Please could you consider making the menu icon of the responsive mode a little bigger? It gives a lot of trouble when clicking on it most at times.
Issue 6. Could you also consider permitting upper case extensions such as .MP3,.M4A and .WAV, currently users can’t upload mp3 files if their extensions are in upper case and they find it hard to understand that though the files are in acceptable format, the extensions are case sensitive, thanks, will be waiting!!!
Finally I now know how you can reproduce issue number one in the list of my new issues, which talks about the upload form not disappearing during the upload of an album, it is because the first track being uploaded when you select album is having the extension .MP3 and not .mp3, you can try uploading a track after selecting the album tab and make sure the track is having an upper case extension such as .MP3 and you will see clearly for yourself! I think issue one and issue 6 share the same cause, thanks.
New issue number 8. The embedded player for tracks appear blank on other websites, kindly fix that too, thanks.
Sorry my previous issue should have been number 7 and I missed so I am now numbering this as number 7.
Issue number 7. You cannot comment inside a track until from somewhere 1min 20 seconds going, and also when playing a track with a comment in it, it plays the comment before reaching the actual part that the comment was made, please check that too! Thanks.
New issue number 9. Admin can hardly delete comments on a track!

Concerning the issue with the music icon, I think I know what you did but I will be happy if you can restore it to how it used to be previously, you’ve adjusted it’s responsive reaction so that it minimizes itself based on it’s width or the browser’s width at a certain breakpoint but can you just restore it as before, where it only disappears when the browser’s width is about 360px? I think it was cooler, thanks.
Okay let’s forget about the music icon issue and concentrate on the following:
1. Issue number 7 from previous issues which has to do with commenting inside a track not fixed yet.
2. After uploading a track, now you can’t submit it because the upload form does not flash anymore!
3. The search menu in responsive mode does not work!
4. The password recovery overlay in responsive mode is covered by the menu panel!
5. SSL cert is now prompting insecure connection, please kindly check to see if during your recent update you introduced any non https links or images and correct them for us so that our SSL certificates wont become useless, thanks.
You should also work on the hoverable state of the language menu, it will help, and please if possible kindly fix these issues for us ASAP especially issue number 2 where users can no longer submit any tracks at all, thanks.

1. Still issue number one not fixed, looks like you didn’t understand! You can’t comment inside a track until after 1min 20 secs and counting! And when playing it back it does not play the comment at the right time. Please kindly test it yourself
2. looks like you didn’t understand issue number 2 as well, it has absolutely nothing to do with file formats, the problem is “Tracks can’t be submitted at all” it doesn’t matter whether mp3 or anything else, tracks just can’t be submitted anymore!!!
3. Issue with SSL still not fixed and I can’t tell what is wrong but you can test it yourself to confirm, previous version worked fine until your recent update!
Please kindly spare some 5 minutes to test the updates yourself after fixing the issues and please be quick about fixing issue number 2 especially for us because users can’t upload and submit anything at all!!! We have waited 3 days already kindly help us in time, we beg you this time, thanks!!!
