1. Can you put videos in popups? Can they be full screen?
Ans -> Yes, you can add a video in a popup and you can convert that into a full screen popup. Convert Plus comes with a Video template that you can use.
2. Is there a preview page with this?
Ans -> There is no particular preview page for it. However, if you are concerned about the design, Convert Plus has a real time live editor where you can see all the changes live.
3. Any limitations on number of popups?
Ans -> You can create unlimited number of popups using Convert Plus.

I am sorry but for now, you will have to select the respective MailChimp group you wish to send to send the contacts to. This can be done while you are creating the campaign. Here is an article you can refer to.
It is not possible to allow users to select a group in a dropdown menu.

Yes, you can add another field using Convert Plus and sync it with a custom field in MailChimp. The email field is synced by default. But, any additional field apart from it needs to be synced. Here is an article that will help you sync a custom field.

Is there ANY kind of SPAM protection in the plugin? Ours has been online for a day, and already the getresponse email list is filled with spam, which is fairly easily recognisable by an empty “name” field which is required in the form.

As of now, you can just enable the MX Record Validation for Email in Convert Plus. Here is an article you can refer to.
However, since you are using GetResponse, your double opt-in feature is activated by default. So none of your subscribers get added to the list unless they click on the confirmation link sent to them through email. Therefore, this does not look like spam to me.
You’ve mentioned that the name field in your GetResponse list is empty. I guess you missed the syncing this field with that in Convert Plus. Just to let you know, the email field is synced by default, while all the others need to be synced manually. The field name in Convert Plus should be the same as that in GetResponse. Here is an article you can refer to in order to sync additional fields in Convert Plus and GetResponse.
From what I understand, syncing the name field should do the trick.

PS: I must add that I goofed up, because the empty name field was caused by the contacts being added to getresponse via an info bar, and that had “Name” as a name field name, not “name”. Once changed, the name was passed correctly to getresponse. So it wasn’t spam, just a darn user error – mine.

Is there feature that allows you to set an expiration date to a campaign.

Let me clear this a little for you. According to Convert Plus, the term Campaign means the list you create or integrate with a third party software to collect and store leads from an opt-in form. Whereas, a module is a modal popup, an infobar, a slide-in popup, inline form etc. in which you can display an opt-in form or introduce offers.
In Convert Plus, you can schedule a module to be displayed. You can select the start date and the end date for it. Here is an article that will help you do so.

What’s up with the countdown timer? We’re running an international campaign launching in 3 diff. timezones and the timer goes 3pm for each timezone – rather than count down to the same UNIX timestamp =/// Now we’ve got people waiting 6 hours for something that’s supposed to launch now

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused! However, I guess you missed the timezone settings.
You need to go to Convert Plus Dashboard -> Modules tab -> Advanced Settings -> Set Timezone and set it to System Default Time as seen in this screenshot.

Hi Elvina! Thanks for responding. What makes the difference? It was set to ‘WordPress Timezone’, and under Settings > General the timezone was set to my local time (UTC+1). However, if I’d set the clock to 3pm UTC+1, it would count down to 3pm US EST on the counter if I would visit whilst setting my system and browser to that timezone. It shouldn’t be flexible, right?

I am sorry, I think I misunderstood the question. It should rather work when you select the WordPress Timezone.
However, we’ll need to take a closer to see what is happening. I do not see a purchased tag across your name and therefore, I assume that you’ve got the plugin bundled with a theme. So, ideally you should be contacting the theme author for help. But, since this is a little strange, we would want to see what is happening and help you with it. Hey there, quick question I cannot find in the guide. How do I get the “we do not spam” text under the submit button? Especially now that the New General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) is becoming compulsory in the EU it is important to be able to add some text in a small font. What we mean by responsive is that the modules automatically adjust themselves on the devices they are displayed on. So here, you see the modules resize themselves and the font on them according to the device screen size. For further edits and requirements, you can always add a little custom code. And we can help you with that.
However, we would love to take up suggestions and implement them if possible. You can discuss further and share ideas through your ticket so that our developer will take a closer look at your requirements and check things further.

Screen size is 1080×1920 (width & height), but the popup sizes are just way too big, they are not optimized for mobile use.
Can the developer team test the demos on your site with mobile phones?
Then you’ll see what I mean. There’s no point arguing that everything is 100% working on mobile. Perhaps you can adjust the things via custom code, but in the marketing perspective, your product doesn’t seem to be professional when testing it on mobile. It seems that the dev team hasn’t tested it at on mobile at all – they’ve just slammed it on “Responsive” mode without any optimization.
Just trying to make your product better with honest feedback + users on mobile can’t read pages when side sticky note fills up the screen.
Same problem with Ninja Popus, not as bad as this one, but bad. You could take an advantage from it.
