Hello guys. I have not bought this directly BUT it is included in TOTAL theme so I thought I may be entitled to post here. When I add a MEDIA gallery (Media Grid OR Mansonry Grid) my server peaks CPU usage and the result is that the images do not get processed and inserted. The back end just hangs. Has anyone noticed this? The server config is quite powerful but still everything halts because of the CPU spike. I am reading around and some one has found that Page Builder causes this with various themes (see here https://goo.gl/P89ivH) and the solution was tampering with JS files. Any ideas on what to do to make things work nicely with Media Galleries?
Hello, We have not encountered such an issue with our standard plugin. You can check it on our online demo: https://vc.wpbakery.com/try/ by setting the grid elements. As you got plugin within a theme, you will need to contact your theme author for support. Hello, Unfortunately, our standard plugin does not have such a feature. The website seems to be using the WPBakery Page Builder. However, the functionality seems to be added without using the page builder as you can see it is added using uk-panel element (in browser code) which is not our standard element. Our standard elements have vc_ prefix for their classes. It might be a custom functionality which is coded.

Hi, A question before purshase, If i buy a licence, can i have some real filter with the post grid. Actually, i’ve got a result with OR selection, i would like to have an AND selection into the post grid creator. I’m actually with some Jupiter’s themes, same issue with all configurations. Hello, Unfortunately, our standard grids currently does not support AND filtering. However, we do have many third party add-ons: https://vc.wpbakery.com/addons/ which have their own grids and might support such a feature.

How do I go about making a tab active by clicking a link/button?
Currently, I’ve a button with the anchor; #tab_name. I want to make the specific tab with the ID; tab_name, to be active.
Hello, You can do so by including the link in button as page_url#tab_id where page_url is the link of the page where tab is present and the tab_id is the id of the tab which you can obtain while editing it.

Hey Rohan. That’s what I did and it does not work.
I’ve assigned the tab ID using the section ID, as this was the only method available to assign a unique ID for each tab. As per screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/hqvJ3
After I did that and checked the source, ID was only placed on the anchor text within the tab, not on the tab itself. Here’s the code generated: https://codepad.co/snippet/vfK9ovE2
Correct me if I’m wrong.. in order for the tab_id to become active when I click a link, it must reference the list item ID here, right?
Hello, It should refer the hyperlink tag. It is correctly being setup at your end. We suspect that it might be a theme/plugin at your end which might be altering the functionality.

After installing the latest WordPress version (4.9.2), Page Builder loads EXTREMELY slowly in the admin area.
Correction, it only happens on a specific theme.

When using hover box and adding a button to the hover box content I get the following error message:

Hello, The issue is because the theme at your end is using a deprecated function: vc_set_template_dir in: themes/avatar-wp/functions.php on line 354. You can replace it with: vc_set_shortcodes_template_dir: https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VC/pages/524294/vc+set+shortcodes+templates+dir to avoid such an issue.

The button link in the Hover Box was not working on iOS or Safari. Adding the webkit prefix solved the issue for me. You may want to look at this for a future update.

Hi, I purchsed a website template which included WPBakery Visual Composer. We have been able to update fine until now. As we have already paid for the template which included this service we don’t want to have to pay more and pay for it twice. Can we please get a link to download the 5.0.1 update? Many thanks.

Thanks for your reply! The theme author is no longer in business. Is there any way you can please forward us the update as our finances are low and the wpbakery in the back end is not working properly. I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling but it’s still broken.

Hello, The plugin works in the content area specified by the woo-commerce template. You can modify it’s template to chnage the area where the WP editor should output, so that you can control the area which can be rendered using the page builder.

Working with VC integrated into a theme – hope this is an ok place to note this – some very strange behavior when using VC in the latest build(s) of Firefox; not saving items, deleting items etc. – hope this is something you’re aware of and is being addressed.

I am unable to make this Plugin working on PHP version 7.2.1.
Is this not compatible with latest PHP version? It breaks the layout of the site. However, if I downgrade the PHP version to 7.0 then it works fine.

Using the Row > Background Style > Hosted video – There’s no option to set preload=”none” – is there somewhere or a function.php I can add/edit that will allow me to force a preload none for background videos?
Hello, The hosted video background is not our standard feature. It is most likely added by a theme or a plugin at your end. Our standard plugin only supports youtube video as a background.
