I checked your site and it is slow itself – 4Mb were loading 11 sec. I don’t think that it’s related to the plugin as it seems that your webserver response is slow. It may take place if you are on cheap shared hosting.
You can test site speed load via https://tools.pingdom.com/# Also you can contact tech support of your hosting provider to check speed problem.

Hello! Please see “Advanced Usage” section in plugin documentation. I think you just need to use “colio_item_subtitle” filter to insert text below item item in item details viewport.
“colio_item_subtitle” – filter to modify text that is displayed as item subtitle in colio viewport. By default subtitle displays creation date. Filter accepts date as first argument, item $post object as second.

Hi there, I created a new portfolio on our site, and had to remove and replace all of the photos because they had the project city location in the URL, and I found out the homeowner is discrete, as there is high end artwork in the home. I deleted the photos from wordpress media (rather than from the colio item itself like I probably should have done) and then I uploaded the new photos, and then added them to the respective items. The featured item (for us, it’s the icons) replaced fine, but the extra photo (the zoom in shot) does not show, even when I clear the cache. Sorry for late reply. I checked your site and when i click photo in item description corresponding image popups in lightbox. So to me it seems everything works properly. Let me know if you still have this problem.

Hmm. Please check this. Go to WP Admin -> Colio -> Tags and check “Count” field for every item. It should match actual items for particular tag. If no, please check items and remove unnecessary tags.

Hi, I am using Colio plugin from a really long time but now I have a problem. I changed my site position from a subdirectory to the main one and it seems work properly but in the Google analisys I continue to receive errors containing the old path… I deleted all instances containing old values but it continues. Do you have any idea of what I have to change?

Do you get these error for Google? Try to update permalinks in your WP admin. Also maybe if you use some sort of SEO plugin, try to clear its cache.

Hello, 1. Pagination transition: In previous versions of Colio plugin, when a visitor clicked to the next page of a portfolio, the page reloaded and the visitor jumped to the top of the page and saw the new page of portfolio thumbnails.
In the current version, the pagination no longer functions this way and the portfolio thumbnails transition in and out.
Is it possible to enable the previous pagination transition? You can see the poor UX that is created with the current pagination transition on this page: https://tinyfrog.com/our-work/
2. Bug. For portfolio pages where there is only 1 portfolio item on a page, when a visitor clicks to that page (see page 12 here https://tinyfrog.com/our-work/), the visitor’s view is dropped to the bottom of the page. Can you help us fix this?

Hello, my development team pointed out that the code provided to fix the pagination issue will require adding custom code to the plugin. This isn’t a best practice because every time we update the plugin & maintain it, the plugin would break and we’d have to redo the custom coding. Are there plans to adjust the entire plugin to allow for better pagination transition? Are there any other options available outside of custom code? If not, we will need to switch to another portfolio plugin.

I’m trying to use Colio Portfolio with Pagelines and the NavPro menu plugin and they are not playing together well at all. Colio tries to render the NavPro header & footer menus in the project popups, and the parent page menu bar keeps refreshing and adding icons until the page becomes unusable. I’ve never seen this with any other plugin I’ve tried. Is there any hope to get these to work together?
My plugin does not work in tabs, or popups. Could you give me a link to check this?
Is there a way to have the Item Button Text be different on each image? So “View Project” would instead be different for each and every image? Or looking at it another way, could Item Title that appears below instead be on the image, and serve as the link? Thanks!
Yes, it can be done. But you have to modify the core. And instead of View project use the_title() to get post title.
Loving this plugin, but one problem: Within the viewport, no links will work. The nex/previous buttons, the close X button, and any text links within, none of them work.As a result, I can’t get it to collapse the viewport.
I have tried disabling all other plugins, to no avail. Using the Divi theme.

Figured it out: there appears to be a conflict with the Divi Theme. I switched to another theme entirely and it works like a charm!
