We are using https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-templates/ to style all our WordPress emails. Problem is that Sumo reward points uses a template of its own so we end up with an email template within an email template. Is it possible to just sent Sumo emails as plain text so they can be wrapped in the existing template?

1. Yes, it is possible. Please follow the steps to configure the settings as per your requirement,
Go to WooCommerce -> SUMO Reward Points -> Modules -> Email -> Email Template Settings
- Edit the Email Template from which the email is currently sending
- Select Email Sender Option as Local
- Save the settings

1. Reward Points can be awarded for orders placed through any WooCommerce Supported Payment Gateway.
2. Reward Points can be redeemed before proceeding to make the payment. Reward Points Information will not be displayed on PayPal Transaction Page.
3. The Plugin you are referring to is not developed by Fantastic Plugins and also we haven’t tested with the other plugin hence it is hard to say.

If you want to display the social icons in a different place, you can do so by using the “Social Buttons display Position in Single Product Page” option provided in the Social Reward Points Module.

Basic terminologies used in our Referral System,
Referrer – A person who has referred someone
Referred Person – A person who has been referred by someone
There are 2ways to refer a new user to the site,
1. Referral Link Generator
- Referral Link allow referred users to be associated with the registered customers who referred them.
- Once users registered on the site, they can generate a referral link[My Account Page] and share the referral link on social media.
2. Refer a Friend Form
- Using the shortcode[rs_refer_a_friend], the refer a friend form can be displayed on a new page.
- Any registered users can refer their friends using the Refer a Friend form.
- The user should have to fill up the refer a friend form with the required details and an automated email will be sent to the referred person.
- The referred person will receive the Referral Link from the Referrer.
i) Referral Account Sign up If the Referred Person creates an account on the site by using the referral link, then the Referrer will earn Referral Reward Points for Account Sign up.
ii) Referral Product Purchases If the Referred Person purchases a product which contains Referral Product Purchase Points and Getting Referred Points associated with it, then the Referrer will earn Referral Product Purchase Points and Referred Person will get the Getting Referred Points.

Hi, if we use PayPal Standard (where they are redirected to PayPal to make their payment), will it still assign them points for their order? I am not referring to buying ponits, I am referring to when they purchase one of our products and we want to give them points – will it track? Or do they have to return to the store to get the points to register in to their account?

- We have provided an option to award points[Reward Points will be awarded when Order Status reaches] based on the order status. So, Points will be awarded when the purchased product contains points and order status reached to the status selected in that option.
- As you said if the order has been cancelled and the Cancelled status is selected in that option, then the points will be awarded. In order to avoid, Cancelled status should not be selected. By default, the Completed status will be selected[It can be customizable].
- Points earned will be revised from the account, once the order status changed to any other status which is not selected in that option[Reward Points will be awarded when Order Status reaches].
For example:
Selected only completed status. So that points will be awarded once the order status reached to completed. In case order status changed to any other status(ex. refund), then points earned in that order will be revised from the account.
- Similarly for the Redemption of Points.
