What i’m thinking i’m going start Classified website using multisite wordpress
I’ll keep the home page for main site This will work like a search engine for my sub site
what i’m thinking i’ll sync all my subsites to main site then i’ll let the search from my main site
so this case if some one going to search any post from my subsite end of the result the user will see everything like normal

Can this plugin also just update the user role on the main site and a subsite where the user already is a member?
If people register for my site they are creating a subsite in my multisite. They will be registered on my main website and on their subsite. If i change the role of a usr on the main site i want the role automattically be changed on the subsite to. Is that possible?

Yes, There is a Main site to sub-sites and Sub-sites to main site auto sync options. You can set Main site to sub-sites auto sync option. It will sync main site user to the sub-sites automatically. For already member, There is bulk users sync process and it’s one time process for already user. After that it will auto work.

Hello, how often does the sync happen? Right now we have on main site, a user signs up (role is subscriber) then they get a subscription and “member” is added as one of their role capabilities. When will this sync happen on our sub site? On the list of “roles” to sync, we don’t see “subscriber” or “participant”. If a user has multiple roles on main site but we only check one role to sync (member) will this sync the users? We are having a problem syncing but it may be because we do not see all available roles in the network admin (main one being subscriber).

how does it work?
I have 2 questions:
1. I have 40,000 users in the root site of multisite, having to sync them individually by the “Filter” option seems to be inefficient. Is there a “Sync All” option?
How can I copy list of users from root site to sub-sites without having to select all users?
2. How does auto sync work? since I already have the users on the main site, it seems that users are synced when a user is added, updated or deleted.
Is there an initial sync?

Please follow the below steps.
- Go to ‘Network Admin’-> ‘User Sync’
- You will see WordPress Multisite User Sync page
- Select source site you want sync/unsync from
- Add 1000-1500 records per page
- Click on ‘Filter’ button
- You will see list of records
- Select records you want sync/unsync
- Select destination sites you want sync/unsync
- Click on ‘Sync/Unsync’ button
So each run will sync 1000-1500 records. then click on 2 page and then 3 page….
This process is one time after it will sync auto when user update info.

Thanks for the suggestions, I do not think it is the proper way, it seems the plugin is still in early development stages.
Since there are 40,000 records or so going through them page by page is not the proper way to do so, there are a number of issues:
1. every time you sync, the results go back to page 1. If you were on page 3, you sync, the results return to page 1, you then have to go to page 4, etc.
2. going through 40 pages is inconvenient.
3. Each time a new site is added the same process has to be repeated.
Is there an option to sync ALL records to sub-sites as a 1 time button instead of having to do this manually EACH time that a sub-site is added?
Hope that you can understand my usage problems and can correct them, I don’t think it is a big problem to fix.
Will you be looking to add these improvements to the plugin?

I read but I am unclear. I purchased and installed and want to know. If I choose a user role and set it to “Administrator”, then enable auto sync – will it make each new user an Administrator upon registration and apply them to the sites I sync?
I want it to do this, but is this what it does? Will user roles be set each as administrator for each of the synced sites?

Hello! I have the following setup:
Wordpress multisite
1. Main Website (Theme 1 from themeforest)
2. 7 Sub-websites installed in my multisite network. Using the same theme but with different layout.
3. Other 2 websites installed in the same multisite network but using 2 other different themes.
4. Main Website have a custom login / register page.
When a user from any website from the network clicks Login / Register button on that respective website, he will be redirected to the Main Website’s Login / Register page. From there, he will register an account. After that, he will navigate to any of the websites from the network.
I need that user to be able to login on any of the websites from the network using same credentials (username / password) that he registered his account.
So, one registration for all of the websites in the network.
Some websites from the network have different user roles, but I will change the roles manually.
Will your plugin resolve my problem?

define the ‘root’ blog you would like BuddyPress to reside at by adding the code snippet below to wp-config.php:define ( 'BP_ROOT_BLOG', $blog_id );

My users register and are automatically given a role according to their selections on the registration form. so they will be Role Name = ‘pmpro_role_X’ (where X is the Membership Level’s ID). ‘role_X’ will change, eg; ‘role_1’ , ‘role_2’ up to ‘role_6’ Will your plugin automatically copy the user role to the subsites? They need to inherit their roles on subsites, as this is how I manage content access.

Yes, If your third party plugin manage roles as per WordPress standard. Our plugin make role in all the sites as a same role.

We have checked in very details. It’s copy data which is in ‘usermeta’ table with last updated data.
Example: We have created two fields in Site A and Site B with same name. Then, if We have update fields in Site B then it’s update data to ‘usermeta’ table and then update fields in Site B then same update ‘usermeta’ table. But ‘Ultimate Member’ plugin can get data from ‘options’ table site wise.
As ‘Ultimate Member’ can manage site wise data in options (wp_options, wp_2_options, etc…) table. so it’s need to be customization for this. Please contact us bellow contact form.

I’m utilizing s2member on a multisite network for user creation and level management. however I’m looking to start charging for a couple of levels
In my scenario a user can sign up for a level 1 and they will only get access to that specific network site, or a user signs up for level 2 which I’m seeing if it’s possible with your plugin to sync that user that signs up to all network sites.
s2member has custom API scripting capabilities on user registration and would like to know if I can call your plugin to sync that new user to all sites.

Yes. It’s possible with this plugin and need to be some customization based on your level 1 and level 2. We will give option(level 1 and level 2) in network side that access control to network and set. That based to sync user in all sites. Also sync new user in all sites.

Is it possible to auto-sync from one sub-site to other (all or just selected) sub-sites or does this only work from the main site to sub sites and vice-versa.
Also, is your plugin comaptible with other plugins which enable multiple roles for a user (e.g. Members plugin) or does it only work with single roles per user?
If so, will the following scenario work?:
User has Role A in all sites and Role B in sites 2 and 3 only. User is later given an additional role (Role C) in the main site and should have this role in all sub-sites. Will syncing the user across sites overwrite Role B in sites 2 and 3 with the new Role C or just add role C to that user so he now has Roles B and C?

Currently this plugin has a two option. One is auto sync from main site to sub sites (all or selected) and the second is sub sites to the main site.
For a sub site to sub sites or all sites sync option is under development. We will let you know about this when it’s released.

I am interested in your plugin but have a question. If you sync users between site A site and Site B in a multisite… well what happens if on one of the sites you start giving some users different roles. Will this break the sync? Will they still be synced even though on Site A the user is a Subscriber and on Site B I make him an Editor? Do I have to keep the user on both sites in the same role?

No, It will not break. If site A user have a subscriber role and site B user have an editor role. Then, if you sync manual site B to A then A user role will editor and if you chose auto sync, then it will same role in all sites. Yes, you can keep the user on all sites in the same role.
