According to the FAQ on your website it’s possible to buy an extending license to use Visual Composer in a personal theme that’s created to sell.
Currently I’m working on a Wordpress theme that will be used within our agency to create client websites, so we have our own customized and optimized theme and aren’t selling the theme itself directly.
Is it possible, in this situation, to buy an extended VC license so we don’t have to buy a license every time we sell a website?
Hello, The extended license can only be used if the theme will be sold via a marketplace such as themeforest. Since you will be using it for creating websites, in this case, a regular license will be required for each website.

The content element “Recent Post Carousel” leads to a decrease in Page speed 
Instead of using a smaller picture it just resizes a bigger one through CSS. How can we change this behaviour?

I would like to ask, if I can add decimal numbers on round chart or not? My friend purchased this addon for his WordPress, and he said there are no way to use decimal number like 10,4, the VC only uses 10 in this case. Is that true?

Hello, Unfortunately, our standard round chart currently does not support decimal values. However, we do have many third party add-ons: https://vc.wpbakery.com/addons/ which might have such a feature as many of them have their own chart elements.

Hi wondered if you can help? for some reason the ability to choose headers, colours etc from the page text editor section isnt working since updating to latest wordpress? I was wondering if you was aware of this and if there is an easy fix at all?

Thank you for this. That seems to ghave done the trick…. Damn wordpress haha! 
There is an issue where the settings for the Single Image and several other blocks won’t show up. I’m getting internal errors on admin-ajax.php. I’ve tried disabling other plugins but this doesn’t fix the issue. The settings for a regular textblock do work though.

Hi there,
I was googling around and not found any result about my issue.
I wanted to know if there is a JS event when the edit form (on backend) is shown so there I can track when the form it opens.
Also it would be great to have list of all JavaScript events that Visual Composer triggers that might be useful for VC component developing.

Hello, Unfortunately, we do not have an event for edit form, but you can check for the mouseclick element on the edit icon for a given element as it is a pre-requisite for opening an edit form. We have added it onto our list to list down the events in the documentation.

Hello,The post sorting is something which is controlled by the theme and hence the Visual Composer cannot alter it.

I have a theme that uses a .php file for the front page unfortunately, is there a way I can create a page/template/whateve you want to call it in visual composer and then insert it into a .php file using a shortcode?

For eg: Some elements such as grids can only render when added via the editor.

I recently purchased the VC license to upgrade a customer’s website. But I would like to install VC on a test server with a subdomain, before making the deployment to the production server.
Does my license allow you to do this? And how to proceed to perform the domain exchange after the tests are performed?
Hello, Yes, you can activate the license on test site. Before migration, please deactivate the license -> migrate the site to the live server -> activate the license on the live site.

I can’t access your support, that’s why I’m writing here.
Is there a way to reactivate my license? I’ve used it on a test server but forgot to deactivate it. Now I can’t do anything, the license was included in a theme packed.

Hello, The Visual Composer which comes with the theme does not have a license of it’s own. To activate the license and to access our support portal, the plugin must be purchased directly through us.

May i ask you your Visual composer can be used as a Form builder like “Quforms” Wordpress plugin?
Hello, The visual composer by default does not have form building capability. But, you can add form shortcodes from third party plugins into the text block element to display the forms. We also have contact form 7 and gravity forms element which are activated when the particular plugin is installed.
