Hey there! We have a problem on multiple of our websites with your plugin! We can add text boxes perfectly fine, but since recent update we can’t change the text color with the dropdown box anymore. We can only select black. Same counts for the size. Is there a way to fix this? We are using google chrome, wordpress and your plugin. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Can I know about the license on which VC is being sold and developed? I got some idea about licenses from the page on a wp-bakery website but it is not clear. What I want to know is as per website it says it has three parts, PHP files, JAVA script files, CSS files. Now PHP is understood PHP is only PHP. Javascript has a lot of versions the even lot of different flavors so need to know which java script is used and with which license. Regarding CSS is CSS is independent or included with HTML. We would like to have this requirement as we are planning to integrate with one of the projects.
Hello, The js used is jquery and we rely on the jquery version packaged with WordPress. The CSS is included with HTML as well as we have some independent rendered files. We use envato license terms for the product as it is sold exclusively via envato marketplace.

Hey,
I’m trying to edit an element on my site however whenever I click the “save” button nothing happens? I’ve updated all plugins etc and checked my user profile to make sure the Disable the visual editor when writing isn’t checked but it’s still not letting me save? Any ideas?

I’m using your plugin with 7 theme (they can’t help me because the problem is in VC Post Grid).
The admin-ajax.php for Post Grid load some “random” css styles (checked with Chrome developer tool) with standard VC grid html/css/js:

The Grid appear fine, but every Post grid load those css.
Everything is updated and working correctly. Hosting is Wpengine with php 7.

Hello, Looking at the link tag, they seem to be loaded from third party plugins such as: simple-image-sizes, sitepress-multilingual-cms, etc. It might be that some posts are relying on these plugins for their output and hence loading their styles.

Hello, I bought the Market Pro theme and it says that the license of Visual composer is included. But when I try to activate the license Since the Visual Composer plugin that connects to my envatomarket account, it does not work. Hello again, The Market Pro theme clearly states that visual composer is included for free at the rate you sell it with the $ 34 license. Would this be false advertising by the author’s theme_bubble?

I guess it might be anwered but is there a license that allows creation of many sites with the plugin. We want to use it for many clients to deisgn custom themes for each site. The extended license will do or there is another license?
Hello, Unfortunately, envato do not offer such a license. For each website you will need a separate license of Visual Composer. The same principle applies to subdomains as well. For example, if you have 3 sites with Visual Composer, you will need 3 licenses.

I am creating my website for a creative agency, and i got an issue when video media are played inside the Portfolio popup. When i click, i got the popup, but it only show an image, not the video. Tried lots of differents settings to change that, but nothings seems to work ? Any way to fix this problem ? I have read and watched everything. I purchased a separate license and I have logged off and out of everything several times and I still cannot get a license. I am having huge issues with this plugin. I can create pages fine, however i cannot edit them when i try to edit the pages it wipes all of my visual composer information out and i have to start from scratch, this is not ideal and i dont know how to fix this.

Visual Composer’s parallax feature has a mobile scrolling/jumping issue on Google Chrome (IOS). I’ve been reading everywhere about this problem.
I believe the problem is created when a fullscreen parallax/slider interacts with a mobile device’s URL bar. When there is a fullscreen parallax/slider at the top of a page and you swipe down, the address bar disappears and creates more space on this page. The fullscreen parallax/slider detects this and resizes the image to fill up this new real estate. This resizing happens any time the user swipes up or down to show or hide the URL bar, anywhere on the page. The result is a “jumpy” scrolling experience on a mobile phone.
Since Chrome developer tools doesn’t have a disappearing URL bar like a mobile phone, the issue cannot be recreated in Chrome developer tools.
In my opinion, the solution lies within the resizing script. I’ve seen the same problem with other themes, but there are some newer themes that do not exhibit this problem.
When you contact your theme’s support you’ll get something like: “The issue you are facing is coming from Visual Composer plugin. We contacted Visual Composer plugin help center and they are saying they are going to note this and will be working on this on their next updates of their plugin. So, we can just wait for the fix. Till then we should not use their default parallax feature.”
Visual Composer has gotten four updates since but no fix.. Let’s see how long it’ll take..

I keep getting this error and its stopping me from accessing my wordpress admin.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_set_template_dir() in /home/content/52/12072252/html/fay-afshar Info/wp-content/themes/ibuki/vc_extend/extend-vc.php
The author of the theme ibuki says to just update the theme but my theme is updated and still i get this error. I can no longer access my wordpress dashboard which means i can’t deactivate the Visual composer.

How can I use VC to create a template layout that can be used for the category and post pages?
Hello, You can save the layout as template and then use it in posts by clicking upon the template icon. Please make sure that post editing option is enabled under visual composer -> role manager -> administrator -> post types.

Would it be easier to setup a default post type using Visual Editor if we don’t want our editors to have to worry about understanding VC when creating blog posts?
Hello,We have functionality to disable visual composer for roles in-case you want to disable it for editors. You can do so under visual composer -> role manager -> editor -> post types.

My objective is to modify or create a new layout that will be used when someone visits a category page? and to modify or create a new layout that will be used for individual posts? I would prefer not to have to copy a template each time one of those is created. Ideally, I would create the template and every category would load the content based on the template layout.
Hello, The category page layout is something which is controlled by the theme and visual composer does not have a control over it. However you can set a pre-built template for posts under visual composer -> general settings, so that it can be used when a new post is created.
