You should have contact with your hosting service provider for it. But you can use manual cron if they’re cannot enable shell_exec on your system

Please check General Settings > Cron tab. You will see single task file links for manual cronjobs. You can create cronjobs into your hosting panel with these links.

Godaddy and Namecheap supporting shell_exec. Also any hosting services will give access to shell_exec if you want to buy VPS.

Does the script record every step within the double opt-in process of every subscriber? Where can I find such records?

Seems to be good work, but please some questions:
Can a subscriber be in more than one group at the same time? How do I move or just merge groups? Import “third party”: How do I use my own, custom, SQL DB and Tables?

Sorry for late reply. Split / Merge groups disabled at last update, I will add again at the nex update. Because subscribing system was changed.
