Hi, can we import & export from one site to another?

Yes, but each table has to be done separately. There is currently no whole settings export.

Hello, is it possible to add table rate shipping cost from the plugin to the woocommerce flat rate cost of different classes so that the total costs can be calculated automatically?

It is not possible to combine costs from other methods. If you setup your flat rates in the same table of your Table Rate method you can, but not from other methods. The only other option is to setup a multiple packages scenario, which creates multiple shipping lines in the order summary. You would have to separate the items accordingly so that one package has the flat rate option, and the other has the table rate.

Hi! Pre-sale question. Is there any option to import a CSV table with all the feautures you describe here? I don’t found anything in the description or in the screenshots, but in the changelog I see something related with that. Thanks!

Yes, each table can individually Import and Export its rows for each of updating and duplicating your shipping options.

thank you for your reply

I want to buy the plugin, before that i want to know if this plugin is compatible with woocommerce 3.0.8. I want to integrate this plugin with the theme https://themeforest.net/item/the-look-clean-responsive-woocommerce-theme/12474892

Yes, this plugin has been optimized for WC 3.0, including support for their newly added shipping zones. The theme you use should not make a difference as this plugin is simply a numbers calculator. WooCommerce in combination with your theme will handle the output of the shipping option so that is matches correctly.

Hello two questions: A) WP said 4.0 Version Deprecated ??? b) I got this error when go to chart page: Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in …/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/deprecated/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping.php on line 388 i’m loosing orders from customers NEED HELP ASAP

When you believe you have everything ported to the new zones correctly you can simply Disable the old method so that it’s rates are not shown to customers. Then when you are quite confident that you do not need the old method anymore, simply delete the old shipping zones and all of the old settings pages will disappear.

DONE. now seems to work prefectly thanks for support

Excellent, I am glad to hear it! If you have any future questions, just let me know.

Hi, Can I set the shipping cost according the total spend of money with this plugin? For example if the customer spends $100 then shipping will be $30 but if he spends more then $100 shipping will be $45?

Thanks, Winc

Certainly! There are subtotal based conditions with >=, <=, and == operations. Just be sure to setup the price ranges in the same table, each range having its own row, and the price will automatically adjust based on how much the customer spends.

Hello Support,

Pre purchase question here.

This is the combination i want to achieve.

1. Shipping cost for Total order under $60 = $5

2. Shipping cost for Total order above $60 = 0

3. Only 1 product(product A) which cost $10 has shipping cost of 0

Can this plugin handle this combination?

Only 1 shipping rate has to appear in cart, does not matter what kind of combination visitor does, see example below:

product A = $10

product B = $30

product C = $70

1. Only A in cart, shipping = 0

2. A+B, shipping = $5 (total order under $60)

3. A+B+C, shipping = $0 (total order above $60)

4. A+C, shipping =$0 (total order above $60)

5. B+C, shipping =$0 (total order above $60)

6. Only B in cart, shipping = $5 (total order under $60)

The only one I can think of would require either code, or allowing multiple options to appear. You can base the conditions on a Per Item basis, and this would allow you to create an option that is only valid when one item is in the cart and no others. However your other rules are based on Order, so this would require a separate Table Rate method to be made as only one calculation type can be selected per method (Per Order, Per Item, Per Line Item, Per Class). The problem is that when only Item A is in the cart, the customer will see two options: the free option and the $5 option. You can remove the duplicate through a code snippet similar to this one but with some modifications: http://www.bolderelements.net/support/knowledgebase/hide-shipping-method-when-cart-contains-shipping-class/

Is the customer allowed to order multiples of Product A? If they are restricted to only one then we could use a quantity condition in there and not need the code, but that’s about the only thing I can think of. Even using a shipping class would still require you to split product A away from the other products which would interfere with your ‘Subtotal’ condition as it would be the subtotal of the order minus Product A.

HI,

Thanks for your detailed information.

Yes, customers are allowed to order multiples Product A.

I dont know much about coding, if i buy your plugin, could you pls help me setting this up, incl some modification of this http://www.bolderelements.net/support/knowledgebase/hide-shipping-method-when-cart-contains-shipping-class/ ?

Sure I can try to help with this if you open a support ticket after purchase. The only other way I could this working is applying a shipping class to all other products through bulk edit. This way you could setup a rule that says ‘Including Class A but Excluding Class B’. But you would have to remember to assign the class every time you add a new product to the shop so that it continues working correctly. Either that way or with a small code snippet as previously described should be able to help.

I am looking for a plugin that can be easily installed and integrated into my wordpress site. I need it to give me the ability to set flat rate shipping costs based on the product a customer is buying, and when they go to checkout the shipping cost should be calculated and shown. Additionally, if the customer purchases multiple products the plugin needs to add the cost of shipping for each of those products and the total will be the shipping cost. For example, if I set the shipping cost of product A at $10, product B at $15, and product C at $20, and a customer wants to purchase products A, B, and C, they should view their final shipping cost as $45. Is your plugin easy to use and can it provide these services?

Sure, the ‘Shipping’ settings are located at the link below. From there, you can select any of the existing shipping zones or create a new one. When editing a zone, there is a table containing the list of active shipping methods for the given zone. You can add a new Table Rate method by clicking the ‘Add shipping method’ button.

http://demo.bolderelements.net/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=shipping

I was able to create a table rate shipping zone, but I am still unsure of how to assign specific products to that zone so that the shipping cost of those products is that associated with the zone. Could you please explain that further?

Sure, under the Table of Rate section it will ask you for how many shipping options you need to create. This is how many options the customer will see while checking out. It is best to calculate this one Based On Per Item or Per Line Item (this is setup in section #1, General Settings). This way the plugin can look at each product individually and determine the shipping cost for it.

Then in your table you can setup as many rows as necessary to cover the products you have. I setup an example for you at the following link. It shows how to specify the cost for each item, including grouping items that ship at the same price.

http://demo.bolderelements.net/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=shipping&instance_id=161

I hope this helps, but if I can answer any further questions, please let me know!

Hi! Why I cannot upgrade your plugin? I submitted all codes and API token, I have Envato market plugin installed. When I upgrade I see this error: Update Failed: Could not connect to Envato API If I try to upgrade from Envato plugin I see Update Failed: undefined error. So my question – how to upgrade this script??? thanks

I’m afraid questions regarding that plugin are better sent to Envato themselves. I have not experienced any issues myself, and I am not as knowledgeable with it. Generally if it cannot connect to the Envato API it’s due to a temporary outage on their part and should be resolved shortly. If you are having trouble getting it to work still, you can always manually upgrade as we used to.

I need to sell fabric using woocommerce in increments of 0.5m units. Woocommerce will only list whole units so I have bought CodeCanyon’s “woocommerce advanded quantity” plugin which lets you list and as a customer choose decimal units on the products page and that works great. Does your shipping tables support decimal units? So for example, 1 to 2.5 units would call up a shipping cost of £4.50, 3 to 4.5 units would call up a shipping cost of £5.00 etc etc? Woocommerces own table rate shipping module will not recognise any decimal units so I can’t do this so need to find a table rate shipping plugin that does. Please let me know. Thanks

Definitely! There are no restrictions other than that it must be a valid number because the same field is used for quantity, weight, length, etc… So you can use decimals and as many decimal places as desired. So long as the plugin you are using correctly updates the WooCommerce product values you should be good to go. This just means that it updates the actual quantity of the product and not create a separate custom field defining this quantity.

(pre-sale question) I’ve read through past comments, but the most recent response was 6 months ago – wanted to see if this plugin is compatible with WC Vendors? Will vendors be able to set their own table rates or does the website owner have to set up shipping classes for each vendor?

I’m afraid direct compatibility is something still in progress. I hope to have it complete by the 4.1 release but documentation is still a bit hazy. In the very least 4.1 will offer non-admin users the ability to setup shipping (as selected by an admin) but that is only half of the requirement for WC Vendor compatibility.

When is 4.1 looking to release?! :) Thank you for your work on this and Multiple Packages, by the way!

I’m afraid I do not have a proposed date, mainly because this is the one aspect of it that it so uncertain. Hopefully their developers will be willing to help me along the way to expedite the time. From my understanding, this is a first for them as well as they only advertise compatibility with one shipping method. Compatibility with other methods is something they are just getting into.

Pre sale questions:

It’s possible to ask the user for their location when they access the store?

After he has given you his address, even before making a registration, and already presenting the products with the value of the shipping?

Regards!

This plugin is simply a shipping calculator, so it will calculate shipping costs based on the rules you setup when it is told to. If you are looking to change when it is told to calculate costs, you will need another plugin for this.

I’ll search… Thanks!

Hello, i may be miss something but what ever i do i have the message “no available shipping method”. could you please help ? Many thank JM

Sure, I would be happy to take a look. I will need to be able to see your settings, however. Either login credentials or screenshots is fine, but this information is better shared through a support ticket:

Hello, this plugin seems to be the answer for what we need. The shop we are reconstructing involves different shipping rates based on weight and country of destination. We need the plugin to be able to import a csv file containing these variables.

Please confirm and if we can see the table structure of such a csv.

Many thanks in advance for the help.

Thank you for your reply and sample csv, also pointing me to the demo.

So it seems to me that we have to set up zones and regions manually first before we can import the tabled rates individually into each zones. Is that correct?

Is there a way where the zones, regions, together with the corresponding tabled rates can be imported in one go?

That is correct, I’m afraid there is no master import, especially as the shipping zones are through WooCommerce and not this plugin. You would need a separate file per method and option within each method.

Thanks for the reply. I can see how Woocommerce structures this. I think we just have to do it manually to set up the zones then. We shall proceed to purchase your plugin to work on it.

I’m using Wordpress 4.7.5 – WooCommerce 3.0.7 and Table rate Shipping 4.0.3, but having a bit of a disaster when testing my product purchases. Although I have specified table rate shipping based on weight in kilos, the basket shows incorrect charges when adding any of the products.

My shipping rate table for the uk is as follows

weight greater than >= 0 £3.75
weight greater than >= 1 £4.75
weight greater than >= 2 £6.50
weight greater than >= 5 £8.50
weight greater than >= 10 £12.00
weight less than <= 15 £12.00

When I add this product which only weighs 0.085kg it add £12 shipping charges! – https://internetsquad.co.uk/product/21st-century-scissors/

It should only be £3.75 in the above example, but is applying the maximum amount of £12 for some reason. This is happening with any products added. :(

If I switch location to a country in another zone, it continues to apply the maximum shipping charge specified!

Any idea what is going wrong?

Looks great! Does it work in testing too?

So far, so good. :) I’m testing locally and working my way though all the zones at different weights.

It looks like I finally got the hang of it though. I might qualify for the Guinness book of records for the highest number of wrong attempts! Lol.

:D It’s all good, I’m happy to help

PRE SALE QUESTIONS

Hello,

I have checked your plugin. It looks nice with good rating. But I am not sure if it’ll work the way I need. Here is what I am trying to do:

I want to set a shipping price for every individual product. Additionally I want to set different shipping price for different quantity. Example: 0-5 of product a will cost $5 and 6-10 of the same product will cost $7 Since I’ll set shipping for every individual product, if user buys two products in the same order, then he/she has to pay the total shipping that is set for those two products. Please let me know if its possible to configure shipping this way using your plugin

Thank you in advance! Lipan

It’s definitely possible, it will just be a lot of setup depending on how many products are in your inventory. But you can calculate your shipping costs based on item, meaning it will go through the cart line by line. This will allow you to setup product conditions, and you can setup multiple rows per product to setup different quantity ranges. Just be sure to set them all up in the same option/table so that the costs for different products combine into one option.

Hi

I want to know before I buy your plugin if it will calculate the cost by dimension and then secondary by postcode?

Kind Regards A

Certainly! Postal codes are the first condition, however. The settings are split up among the WooCommerce Shipping Zones that you setup. Then within each zone you can setup your table of rates based on dimensions. The options you have for dimensions are:
  • Width
  • Height
  • Length
  • Area
  • Volume

Hello

Please, you can tell me where I can see the documentation of the plugin. I have some questions to consult.

Thank you.

Disculpa, lo acabo de encontrar en la base de conocimiento en tu sitio web.

Gracias.

Sorry, I just found it in the knowledge base on your website.

Thank you.

Not a problem. The knowledgebase is a good resource as well. The documentation comes packages with the full download from CodeCanyon, but you can also find it here: http://www.bolderelements.net/docs/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/

Hi I have a presales questions. I need “multiple quantity rate shipping”.

Product A is Shipping for 5$ if 1 to 5 quantity and for 3$ if 6 to 10 quantity and for free if 11+

Product B shipping for 5$ if 1 to 3 quantity and for 3 if 6 to 8 quantity and for free 9+

Product C and more

but all products will shipping for free if the the cart total is more then 100$.

Is this possible?

I’m not sure I understood this part:

“And still can use the build in shipping method for other products?”

If you want to combine methods on one order, that will require another plugin to assist. But this plugin could allow you to setup different rates based on product and quantity, and then allow the Free Shipping method to override its results if the customer spends more than $100 no matter the products chosen.

Ok. So different rates for different products with different quantity settings + Free Shipping to override it right?

Correct, yes, that should all be possible. You are welcome to try it out on the live demo site as well if you want. Clicking the ‘Live Preview’ button at the top of the list page will take you directly to the demo, login credentials provided.
