hi, just want to host it on AWS… would you suggest any hosting provider, as in my current cPanel hosting with bigrock, doesn’t work well with it.

Hi Louis, I’m intending to run Acelle using my own host SMTP server. I have checked with them and I am only allowed to send around 400 emails per hour.

I have a list of 2500 recipients. Will Acelle pause the campaign when it detects the SMTP server is refusing to send any further emails after it has reached it’s limit of 400?

Hello @gn1000. So you can “slow down” the sending speed of your sending server to 400 emails per hour. You can find the configuration settings in the Edit Sending Server page. Regards.

Hello @dmarketer. I’m afraid we cannot support Windows, since most of the email features are based on Linux core. Anyway, hosting a web application on Linux is much cheaper and more stable. Please consider going with a Linux server, we can help with the setup if you need it. Thank you.

Hello, I just purchased your software and find it difficult to install. I have followed the instruction sin the guideline, but any time i try to run the script, the directories are what is coming up. Which of the files in the directory has the set up? Or is it possible for me to give you ftp to set it up? I need this as soon as possible. Thank you.

i have asked you to refund the moeny so that there is no more your of your script. and you have declined my request and told that it will work through Phpmail function. Can you do that for me, so that i can use the php mail function

Hello Pint, so can you just provide us with access to your server so that we can troubleshoot the problem for you?

2 Questions:

1. Can the user send an individual campaign using 3 different smtp accounts – and divide them up into a certain amount of emails sent through each one?

—> Or does it only allow the user to send each campaign through one smtp account at a time?

2. When the user selects “phpmail” as a method to send mail – can they add their own credentials in there, or is it only through the server that it’s hosted on?

Hello @infopreneuragency. Thank you for your interest in our product. See my answers below:

1. You can send a campaign using as many sending servers as you desire. If there is more than one sending server available, you can distribute the sending credits evenly to your sending servers or you can even choose how likely a particular sending server is selected (conditionally random) by assigning it a probability value.

2. It will use the default hosting server’s PHP Mail, no authenticated is required for this type of sending.

Hello @Vision-777. Thank you for your interest in our product. Unfortunately, our software is for working with email marketing only and it does not support sending SMS message yet. You can easily find an “SMS Marketing” application on codecanyon. Regards.

Hi Louis, I’ve installed Acelle on shared hosting (Siteground) and when it does a scan, it says it needs the GMP Extension installed. I contacted customer support and they say that doesn’t come with shared hosting. Is this extension vital to run Acelle? Is there any way to bypass this? Thanks.

Thank you so much. Now the update manager work fine.

Louis….if subscriber is already subscribed and tries to resubscribe again by accide t in the web sign up form, then the form doesnt recognize that they are already subscribed so it starts the process again and the user is show now in the list as unconfirned but it also doesnt send the user a confirmation email to allow then to confirm. So they sit in the list as unconfirmed. Web app sign up form takes them to usual message saying confirm the email. No email is sent.

Hello @Syqel. What is your current version of Acelle Mail (you can find it in the VERSION file included in the source). If you are on 3.0.1 or newer, then you can do a LIVE upgrade directly in the Admin Dashboard. Please go to Admin view > Setting > All Settings > Upgrade Manager to proceed. Thanks.

Lot of bugs in there. I try to create a subscription for a user: Whoops, looks like something went wrong.

Dont know how to upgrade. In the file it says i have to move to Settings, but there is no Update-Buttons or something.

I cant find the version, why is there no hint in the Settings.

After going to admin/settings/upgrade in the url, there is a “You are not authorized for this action.” screen.
