Hi i have a theme for wordpress that comes with a built in preloader. Id like to remove the preloader and use yours. it is activated and when i customize it, the original theme preloader wont change or display the changes affected by your plugin settings. How do i remove the original preloader or just get yours to work properly?

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing!

LoftLoader creates a new preloader on your site, if your theme has a built-in preloader , LoftLoader will not affect it. It sounds like LoftLoader’s preloader is covered by the theme’s built-in preloader so you cannot see it.

To remove theme’s built-in preloader, please contact the theme author, ask them how to disable/remove the theme’s preloader, so the theme won’t load any CSS and JS of it. The theme author knows the theme’s code and logic, and knows how to edit the theme code without breaking anything else.

After the theme author help you to remove the theme’s built-in preloader, the preloader created by LoftLoader will display on your site. If you have any problems or questions then, please feel free to contact us via email general@loftocean.com.

Thanks very much.

hi, i have purchased a theme for wordpress which has a preloader built in, I have also purchased your plugin and would like to use it instead of the default preloader. How do i remove the default preloader…when i try to edit yours and activate it, the original loader wont change.

Hi there,

A little bug has been added since you have implemented the smooth transition/end animation. If you click on something like “I agree” in a info box for the EU cookie law, a # will be added in the hyperlink and loftloader will automatically launch its beginning animation… but with the impossibility to display the ending animation because no page reload is operated.

Just try it here : https://www.les-alternatives.com and click on the “OK” button at the bottom of the screen. It seems to happen on Chrome, not on Firefox.

Thank you! We have found the cause. We will fix it and upload an update for it to CodeCanyon soon.

BTW, according to http://quality.market.envato.com/codecanyon, it may take about 2 days for an update to get reviewed and approved after we upload it. You can deactivate the Smooth Page Transition on your site now, then reactivate it later after get the next update.

Thanks very much.

Perfect. Thank you for your job ;-)

One more tips in order to get more visibility for your plugin, especially in the codecanyon search tool : try to add the word “transition” and “animation” in your plugin name. Something like “LoftLoader Pro – a Preloader Plugin for WordPress with awesome transitions and animations”.

Thank you for the suggestion, we will try later. :) And we have uploaded the update and it’s in the review queue. Please always feel free to let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Love this plug-in. One feature request for a future update would be the ability to assign different loaders or custom messages depending on the page. It would be nice to have one loader with a custom message for the home page then just a basic loader for all the other pages.

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing!

And, this feature is available since version 1.0.6 (released on February 24th, 2017). If you didn’t find this option in the settings panel (Advanced section > Enable “Any Page Extension”), we guess you haven’t updated it to the latest version. :)

And you can find details about how to use this feature to add different loading screens to different pages in the documentation – chapter 2.9 Advanced > 2.9.2 Display different loaders on different pages. Yes, on each page you can have different loaders, different messages, and more – just like what we do on our demo site.

Thanks! ;)

When using a gif the preloader seems to lag a bit too much. Any way to fix this?: http://dev.sagamuseum.is

Hi,

We have checked your site, and the problem is not about the custom image format – it’s because your site is a little bit heavy, too much JavaScript is working during page loading and consuming too much CPU and memory, so it affects the loading performance.

We have created the same preloader as yours on our demo site, and it is smooth, please check it here: http://www.loftocean.com/loftloader/test-for-gif/

Thanks.

I see that there’s the option to only show on the home page and the option for it to only show once per option. I’d like to be able to combine those 2 options.

Thank you for your detailed and clear explanation. It is very helpful. No problem, we will make a quick update to add this option soon. Thanks.

Thank you so much for the update!!

No worries. :)

Just purchased it. What an amazing experience. Very intuitive, and so elegant ! Thanks a lot

Thank you for you kind words and your great review! :)

Hi, is there a way not to load any Google fonts through the plugin? I checked the font dropdown and didn’t see a “None or default” option.

We’re trying to optimize the website load time and there are Google fonts called from multiple plugins and LoftLoader is one of them.

And is there a way not load all plugin related css and js inline but through individual .css and .js files?

Hi,

1. Google Fonts – We can add an option into the font dropdown list so the text in the loading screen can inherit the default font using by the site.

2. Inline CSS & JS – No problem, we will add an option so you can choose to save styles into an individual .css file. And we will do some changes to remove inline JS.

We will include these changes in the next update. Thanks.

Best Regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Thank you for the update, and especially for the requested feature which was just released (smooth animation).

One more feature which can be added with ease is the ability to choose a background image instead of gradient colors, and in which we will be able to choose to repeat it or not (for pattern especially…)

Thank you for your suggestion! No problem, we will add it in the next update. Cheers.

Thank you for the requested feature which was added 5 days only after I have asked for it.

I’ll rate your plugin during the week, 5 stars btw : Active development, user friendly, effective plugin and honest price.

Cheers.

Thank you very much for the kind words! :)

Loader does not work on all pages (se projects e.g.). View here adverman.it

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing!

When you choose to show your loader for “All Pages”, that means the loader won’t show for posts, and the projects actually are posts of the portfolio custom post type, so the loader won’t show on each project (as they are posts).

If you’d like to show the loader for your projects, you need to select “Sitewide” for “Display On” setting.

Thanks.

BTW, we can add a new feature for this in the next update, to let users choose to show the loader for picked custom post type, like projects, testimonials, etc. Thanks.

I’m missing the logo opacity fade up loader that’s available in the free version?

Nvm, I’m just stupid.

Hi, so glad it sorted out. And thanks very much for your review! :)

We are currently using the loader in the “only on Home page” mode. However, we would like to know if it’s possible to only show the loader once per visitor session; preventing them from having to watch it again if they navigate away from the home page and then come back to the home page. Thank you.

Hi, no problem, this feature is already on our to do list for the next update. Thanks.

Awesome! We’re looking forward to it. Thanks for the quick reply!

Hi, just want to let you know that we have updated LoftLoader Pro and the “display once per session” feature is available now. Thanks.

Hello,

I’ve purchased your plugin, which is by the way very nice, but I’ve noticed when page loads, this preloader shows only at the end of loading almost only as a flash, for a moment. So basically it comes in pretty late. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing!

Maybe the content just load very fast, could you please set the minimal load time larger than 5 seconds and check again? You can find the option via LoftLoader Pro Settings > More > Minimal Load Time.

By the way, would you mind leave your site URL here so we can take a look at it? You can also email it to us: general@loftocean.com

Thank you very much.

Hi, firstly, the design of your plugin feels really great! Just 2 questions, before I buy it:

I need a loader that will show up on a first page load, but won’t show up on subsequent page loads. For example, if a visitor comes to any one of my pages, I’d like to show them the loader, but once they browse my site further, links will open very fast, so I don’t want to show them the loader any longer. Is this possible with your loader?

What about SEO? As Google doesn’t particularly like hidden content, does your preloader use any CSS or JS tricks to hide the website content, or does it just overlay it with high z-index?

Hi, thank you very much for your kind words! And here are the answers to the questions:

1. Sorry, but currently it cannot do it. This feature does make sense so we will consider adding it in a future update. Thanks for bringing it up!

2. The loading screen just overlay the site content with a higher z-index. It doesn’t hide site content and won’t hurt SEO.

Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response. I’ll keep an eye out for the future updates, and will definitely buy once you implement this. Keep up the good work :)

Hi, just want to let you know that we have released version 1.0.6 and now you can choose to display the loader once per visitor session. Thanks. :)

Hi there,

I just bought your plugin, and it does the work pretty well. Nice done!

Unfortunately, nothing is perfect, and your plugin actually lacks of an important things (just my 2 cents) :

  • A preloader which run just before the loader your plugin creates. The thing is, at this stage, that loftloader runs just after the first received bite. And if the server takes 0.5sec or 1 sec to react, nothing is happening during this time.

The trick : just add a little animation just before a new page loading (this means, just after a link is clicked) , and which will introduce the loader : this is what I called a preloader. You have already several ending animations (fade, slide, shrink…), just do the same but in reverse mode for the preloader.

If you think this is useless, I would ask you to test it first. A little trick like this just makes more natural and better integrated the loader. If you decide to implement this, this will be a win-win situation : more sells for you because the loader will looks far better.

Regards.

Nice! Can’t wait to see it in action.

Hi again,

I just wonder if you are working on what I have suggested earlier, and if yes, when will the release be available?

Cheers.

Hi,

It is on our features-to-add list for the next update and our team is working on the new features and improvements. We can not promise exact release date, but it will come by the end of this month. Thanks very much for your patience.

Hello. How to change font-family for progress bar with “0…100%”?

Hi, sorry but currently the font family of the progress percentage number cannot be changed. We will add this feature in the next update soon. Thanks.

Thank you for the update!

Thank you for the feedback! :)

Hi,

Sorry I made my comment in the wrong plugin page https://codecanyon.net/item/loftloader-jquery-create-a-stunning-loading-screen/17908439/comments. As you can see I am purchased, please try installing wpDisqus on your site and test it with your plugin, thanks.

Hi,

we have installed and tested both the 2 plugins you have mentioned: wpDiscuz and Disqus. However the issue didn’t show on our testing site.

Could you please create a temporary testing account for us, and let us log into your site and look into this issue? Please send details via email to general@loftocean.com.

Thanks.

I’d like to know if you guys would consider the option to have a different loader for different pages as well, in the way you do on your demo site. Thank you.

Hi, no problem, we will add this feature in the next update. Thanks very much.

Hi, after a discussion with the team, we finally decide to make a free extension for this feature, and you can download it on this page: http://www.loftocean.com/loftloader/loftloader-anypage/

If you encounter any problems while using it, please feel free to let us know. Thanks.

Hi, just want to let you know that we have updated LoftLoader Pro to version 1.0.6 and the Any Page Extension now has been included in the plugin. Thanks.

Hello,

Afer the initial loader plays instead of fading straight to the page I’m getting a fade to yellow then a not very smooth transition to the actual page…

Any suggestions?

Regards

Hi, thanks for purchasing and sorry to hear about your issue.

It sounds like the style of loader div has been affected by another plugin or the theme: maybe a yellow background color has been applied to the loftloader-wrapper div.

Could you please create a temporary testing account for us, and let us log into your site (or a testing site) and look into this issue? Please send details via email to general@loftocean.com.

Thanks very much.

We have been testing your plugin in from the wordpress.org plugin repository. In testing we have two question before we purchase.

We are running 3 multisites with domain mapping. We would like to add your plugin to our network to give our users a better experience on their website. Will your plugin support this? (So, far it does in our multisite with out domain mapping, but we cant test on a site with mapped domains at the moment as that is our live site.)

What type of license would we need and would we need a license for every domain?

We are using the upfront builder from wpmudev, and the your preloader hangs when we open pages in the editor.

So far we have tested 20 different preloaders and we believe yours has the best so we would really like to use your preloader.

Hi, thank you very much for your interest in our plugin.

LoftLoader Pro is multisite compatible. You can install it on the main site and activate it on each sub site.

About the license:

1. If the 3 multisites share the same main domain, then you’ll need only 1 license. If each sub site has its unique domain, then you’ll need to purchase 3 licenses (one for each domain).

2. There are 2 license types: regular and extended. You can find details on this page: https://codecanyon.net/licenses/standard

The pro version is much different from the free version. We have changed/enhanced the design and rewritten/improved the code for it to reduce some potential bugs. If you encounter any issue while using our plugin, please just let us know and we will look into the issue and help you out.

Thanks.
