Does it work with PHP 7?

There’s always some overhead for the server when using additional scripts, so there must be some here too. However, it’s a pure PHP/MySQL solution, which means the overhead will be smaller than in case of WordPress plug-ins.

Additionally, if you’d like to have no overhead on your main server, you could install the chat on another server and then embed the widget on your WordPress site.

Is there an option to end a chat (by an agent)? If not, how about adding this feature?

Unfortunately, that’s not built-in. However, I have it on my to do for future version of the application.

Can I install and use in all my websites?

Single license allows for use on a single website. For each website, where the widget is embedded, a separate license should be purchased.

Is there a way to toggle live chat window with an icon? I mean replace the mini bar with an icon when it was not open. And I need to toggle on with anchor. Is that possilbe too?

Hello.

Application doesn’t have built-in support for that, however, you can do it yourself with some programming.

The iframe element that contains the widget has an ID of customer-chat-iframe in the document. You could refer to element by this ID, hide it with custom CSS and toggle it with your JavaScript code.

First of all, if you’d like to enable non-minified versions of JavaScript files you can do the following. Inside livechat/php/config/config.php file switch the value of 'env' entry from 'prod' to 'dev'. After that, application will use JS source files instead of the minified versions. That will allow you to test your modifications.

Unfortunately, there’s no included script for joining & minifying all the scripts, so you would need to write your own. To see what scripts are used and in which order, you can look into the main HTML documents. For widget it’s livechat/views/widget/iframe-content.html.php and for administration dashboard it’s livechat/views/admin/index.html.

Hi, if i host this chat application on example.com and can we copy and paste the chat widget on xyz.com website, operators will login to example.com to talk to xyz.com visitors. will it be possible ?

2. View the content that the client writes but has not yet seen it. So, in order to see what the client is writing to us, we have not sent the message yet. Something like that is in intercom.

For more customized layouts, however, you would have to edit the application’s code yourself.

2. Unfortunately, such feature is not supported. There is a typing indicator, but without the preview of the text being typed.

hi, the original floating bar is too big, obviously not suitable with my theme, are you be able to add an option to use the avatar logo or any customize logo instead of that stupid “talk to us” floating bar ? or if you can advise us how to do it by ourself ?

Unfortunately, there’s no built-in support for this. This could be done manually with additional code (which would display your custom button/icon and interact with widget’s iframe). If you’re interested in such customization, please contact me via private message.

Hi. Application itself doesn’t support integration with 3rd party scripts (there’s no special API for example). However, full source code is included in the package – if you have enough programming skills, you should be able to integrate it with any other software.

In the client dashboard, I want to do the name and email should automate. It mean that after login by the client into his / her dashboard the username and email should come from my existing database.. Can I set like this? Since a wizard of code is adding in the panel how it will collect the few defined values?

Application uses custom-made MVC framework. If you’d like to automate how name & email are provided, you would need to modify the source code yourself manually – unfortunately, there’s no built-in support for that.

1. On the same website/domain you can embed the widget how many times you want. If you’d like to use the application on other websites/domains, then additional licenses should be purchased for each one.

2. You can set initial short message that’s displayed before the chat, however, there’s no special feature to include FAQ inside the widget.

3. Application includes only English version of the texts. You can easily translate the widget via the administration panel (Settings tab). However, administration panel itself doesn’t have translation support and it would need to be translated by editing HTML files manually.

Still same issue. In desktop everything is working fine, but mobile (HTC, IPhone, Apple IPad etc.,) audio (notification sound) is not working. Please try it on your mobile as a customer. Kindly try to revert with the positive result.

Still the same issue. Audio is not working on mobile, both even front-end and back-end. If require FTP details, i will share to you, please check. It is very urgent. Because of this issue operators are not responding properly to customer. Operators are using iPad and smart mobiles.

You can easily translate the widget via the administration panel (Settings tab). However, administration panel itself doesn’t have translation support and it would need to be translated by editing HTML files manually.

Application allows for visitors to chat with operators (all talks are private). Visitor-visitor talks are not supported, only visitor-operator ones.

For me chat notification or alert sound is not working on mobile, but the same sound is working fine in browser. Please help me to get the notification or alert sound on mobile whenever chat from mobile.
