Hi, after updating the Wordpress installation to 4.8.1 I get the error message: “Failed to load plugin url: http://intranet.wki.fraunhofer.de/wp-content/plugins/bwl-kb-manager/tinymce/bkb_tinymce_button.js"

This error message is displayed every time I want to edit a post or create a new one.

What can I do to fix that?

Hi, the sort functionality is not working. When I go into options, and sort the articles and save. it will not sort them on the front end.

Also, is there a way of just sorting them date by default?

This is a pre-purchase question.

Our website has around 10-12 services and against each services, I want to bring the KB – 5 to 10 questions. I want the visitors to read and ask questions. They are also allowed to comment against any questions.

Does your plugin 1. Allows to add KB against each service/product? 2. Allows users to comment against the Questions? Which will be moderated and answered or deleted if irrelavent. (Moderation) 3. Allow users without login to comment?

I just bought and installed the plugin.

I added several categories, subcategories and articles.

How can I see the subcategories?

If I click on a category, I see all articles from all related subcategories. It makes no sense. It should show the subcategories list and after you click on a subcategory, you should see the articles list.

Also, you never know where you are since the breadcrumb is missing.

On the sidebar, also only the main categories are visible.

I also noticed that the listing and the details pages are not using the same template as the main page. They use the blog details page. That’s quite bad because this is not a blog. I’m using masonry for the blog and a right sidebar.

On the Knowledge Base page I use a left sidebar. Only the main page looks good.

Also, the URLs are arong. The main URL is .com/knowledge-base/.

The category URL is: .com/blog/categorie/categorie-name/

The details URL is: .com/blog/knowledge-base/article-name/

So, /blog/ shouldn’t be there and /knowledge-base/, which is the main page slug, is missing. It’s visible again on the article details page.

Basically, the category is loosing the hierarchy.

Not to mention that the subcategories slugs are missing from URL.

What is the point of adding subcategories if they are not visible? Not in the category page, not in URL, not in breadcrumbs.

I just noticed one more thing.

On the main page, it shows the categories and also the subcategories as main categories. There is no difference.

And if a category has no articles but it has subcategories with articles, it shows 0 for the main category and below are the articles listed.

In another category I have 3 articles and 2 subcategories, each with 3 articles.

On the main page and the categories widget, the count is 3, but when I click, I see all 8 articles.

This is the same on the main page. It shows the main category (2) and below I see 8 articles. Then I see again the other 2 categories, each with the 3 articles.

Basically, instead of showing only the main category (2) and below the 2 subcategories or at least, the 2 related articles, I see 3 categories on the main page as main categories.

It’s quite a mess.

Because it is way below everything and I am afraid users won’t find it and think the article is over and there is no attachment. Also there is no anchor point so I can’t even link to it. Thanks!

Hello – Good plugin, but the key drawback for us is that the lag time on the ajax search is much slower than your FAQ plugin. Do you have plans to improve this – i.e. perhaps use the same speedy functionality as on the other plugin? This will make a big difference in our decision to stick with the plugin, or not. Thank you.

- FAQ plugin search only works for currently displayed items. But KB plugin search find the keyword in entire KB items. That’s why it seems bit slow. But it’s much more efficient than FAQ plugin.

Note: You can limit KB search function to find & match keywords only in KB post title. It will speed up your search functionality.

Hi, this is a pre-sale question. How do you deal with nested categories? I played around with the admin demo I found for your KB plugins and created a sub-category with a test page, but by selecting the parent category, the sub category was not listed anywhere.

There appears to be a conflict with BWL and Modern Tribe’s Event Tickets plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets/ When on the BWL list page in the dashboard ( wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=bwl_kb ), the categories in the list are the same for every post despite the posts obviously having different assigned categories. This is confirmed with only these two plugins active on the 2016 theme.
