hi there, i have following problem and query; 1. I had created a category and 2 sub category and added videos on both sub category. what i am finding is both sub category is showing the content but main parent category is empty. Logically main parent category should contain the media of both the category on LIFO method or there should not be any hyperlink for the main parent category. correct me what i am doing wrong? 2. After adding category and sub category, no categories are showing in the home page. 3. by default home page shows videos in media type wise. Is it possible to show some of the category or sub category videos in the home page? 4. in mass importer, is it possible to change media type while importing media from you tube or vimeo? 5. For profile cover update, save changes is not working.
lastly thanks for the awesome script, you made me to migrate my wp site to your script. Try to provide cron job with scheduled channel wise. refer video robot as its really good. waiting for your answer.

1. Your are not doing anything wrong. That has been fixed in the upcoming update.
2. This is related to #1 and is fixed in the upcoming update.
3. Currently no. However, in the new update, yes.
4. Yes. You can just use the search box in the right side to change the type using the same keyword.

1 small request from my side, if possible make it within the new update: when someone search in homepage, whole platform contents should get searched but when someone search after selection a category, the search should happen within the category. it really gonna help everyone in segregation and organizing contents. lots of thanks in Advance.

You can ad ads from the admin panel. It is very easy.

Oh you mean videos ads. Currently the script does not support videos ads but that is a feature to come.

The way the script adds ratings to the aggregateRating tag in HTML is multiplicative, so it falls outside of the maximum of 5.0 (and minimum of 1.0)the moment more than 1 person likes a video (go Google Webmaster Console starts flipping its lid on Structured Data).

To the change bar color, open the file includes/App.class.php and on line 1476 find and remove the line:

I can’t add youtube to this script by default however if you wish I can customize it for you.
1. Yes it would have to be paid customization.
2. In the new version, the sitemap will be split.

No. The import simply uses the embed code from the source. Copy media files would be against their terms of service, especially Youtube .

Hope this gets fixed or added as a CRUCIAL feature in the next update : Admin users can delete other admin users. At the very least we need the ability to have moderators who can’t delete Admin or Mod users, only normal users (or if configured, no one).

Just a few quick comments before you release the newest update.
In order to add a Page you simply go under page management and “Add a Page”.
To add a Blog post you go under Blog Management and “Add a post”.
If you want to add an “Article” you have to go under “Add Media” and change the media type to “Post”?
It seems like an odd place to do that and quite confusing for someone who’s never used this script before. Not to mention the word “Article” never shows up in any of the documentation or settings menus that I can find. What are the differences between a Blog post and an Article except the way you create them?

The difference is that a blog post is more like announcements while Article is more like news (like buzzfeed).

Oh yeah! It did just dawn on me, but…the Vine function is pointless now. 
Yes. I am thinking of removing that however it would still be ok because a vine is a 6-second video. You would not be able to import vines but you can still upload.
