What happens when someone wants to book 4 nights and we have availability in 1 room for 3 nights and another room for 1 night? Does it appear full because not all nights are available in the same room? What is the message that users receive in this case? And when preferred rooms are fully booked?

If someone search for 4 nights and you do not have a room left for 4 nights, HBook will show a message indicating that no room is available. It will not suggest 3 nights in 1 room and 1 night in another. 
When the accommodation type searched for is fully booked. It invites the customer to view all accommodation type available at this dates.
This message, as any text displayed by HBook can be modified to your convenience.

One more thing, let’s say we have 3 seasons low, medium, high, with 30% deposit rule. Is it possible that this apply only for low, medium season and high seasons bookings are final with no cancelelation option? And how the customer can cancel the booking? Does he has to register at the website? And if not how the program handles cancelation and refunds?

Yes, I have Braintree on the list for payment gateways that I wish to add.
Yes, you can set that a 30% deposit applies. You surely can mention that there is no cancellation option if they choose to pay deposit (as sais above, any text displayed by HBook is customizable). Is it that you have 2 options : full payment that can be cancelled or 30% deposit with no cancellation option? You can offer your customer different payment options (full amount, deposit, offline/on arrival). You will just indicate the condition for each option, if this is what you need.
If I did not reply to your question, please do not hesitate to come back to me on that point. 
The customer has no access to his booking to manage it (as a “Manage my booking” with login details). He will need to contact you and you will cancel the booking in HBook reservation page. For refunds, it can not be dealt with Hbook. I wish to add that in the future where an admin could charge or refund from the back-end. Howeve, it will probably not be added in a near future!

Thank for the info. For cancellation what i want to accomplish is that they can cancel deposit or full amount at only low,medium season and only prior to 3 weeks. Any booking during high season i want to be final.No cancelation. Can i set this rule? If there is not such option i could write this in the terms and conditions inside the general booking terms(so to make final payment they have to tick the box, but normally nobody read this and after we can have complaints) but would be nice if i can set it in the backend.

As HBook do not deal with the refunds in case of cancellation, there is no options for what you describe. If the customer could manage its booking from HBook and cancel directly, which could trigger or not a refund (depending on season in your case), that would be an option in HBook. Interesting in fact, from a developer point of view! 
As you said, you should include that in the terms and condition. HBook has a section for that, with compulsory check-box and link to your terms and conditions page.
If you wish to make sure that your client knows the conditions, you can as well add an explanation just before the book now button (there is an option for that in HBook), or somewhere else where suit you best.

Hi, Aurelien As you see i have already purchased your plugin. Its easy to configure with your documentation. The past week i am experiment with Pods https://wordpress.org/plugins/pods/ and i see that your plugin also use custom post, data…. What is confusing for me is how i am gonna show the information in my pages. I have already the pages. The plugin want to have the id of the page?/is it possible to give you admin access? where i sent you the info to have a look? As for customer log in and cancellation there is a similar plug called booki here in codecanyon that is supposed to do this if you are interested to have a look… I will appreciate some help. If everything works out i will implement to more websites hbook plugin as it seems the right tool for what i want to accomplish

Thank you for your message and for your purchase. 
To use one of your page template to display an accommdation, just add the id of the page in Accommodation Display section of the accommodation type. You can easily find the id of the page in the url when you edit. For example, If the url when I edit one page is ends with post.php?post=46&action=edit, then the page id is 46. 
You can use in your page HBook shortcodes to display the information. See shortcodes section of the documentation.
If you have linked an accommodation type (let’s say double room) to a page (let’s say page id 46), you can write HBook shortcodes in the content of your page 46. HBook will know that it is for the double room. If you add [hb_booking_form], [hb_rates] or [hb_availablity], it will display respectively a search form, a rate table or an availability calendar for the accommodation type double room.
Yes, I already have a clear idea regarding how front-end customer access works. And how the refunds could be dealt with. But there are other features that I wish to develop first at the moment.

Just one thing in the different accommodations types we don’t charge extra persons, so if in the room is one or three persons price stays the same but we we charge 20% more if an extra bed is added. For this combination min and max occupancy I have to enter the same and in the extra services add the cost of the extra bed?
Exactly! You got it right. Note that the price of the extra can not be a %... It has to be a fixed amount per night per extra-bed.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to set the extras according to seasons. It is a fixed amount.
The only workaround I can see is to set the extra as a multiple choice and the dates of the seasons are the choices. Basically, the customer will set which season is the right one and the price will be automatically adjusted, as you would have set different prices depending on the choice/season. I do not know if it can be satisfying workaround for you…;-)

ok thanks. Another question as the site will go live next days. When searching and choose days that are not available the program will display only those who are. Is it possible to display all and those that arent available with a mark not available for the requested days?
When searching from accommodation if all accommodations for specific room type is booked the program doesnt allow for specific days search in the calendar. Can it be that is allowed with end result of course that for the specific days we didnt find accommodation please call? Something like this? For example in hotel hotelier i can close a room for specific days and add a call remind

It is not possible to display in the results the unavailable accommodation with a not available mark. This would need customization and I am not available for that. I have taken note of your suggestion.
This can be done with a general search, not for searching a specific accommodation type. As the message displayed when no accommodation is available can be customized, you could write whatever you wish as a please call message. What you would wish is in fact an option to show/not to show availability in the pop up calendars for check-in/check-out. I have added that to the wishlist as well but I can not guarantee it will be added soon.

If Hemma theme allows you to insert a link which will open it in a modal window, sure it is possible. The link will be a page which will contain [hb_booking_form accom_id=”2”] for example to display a booking form for a specific room.
It is not a functionality of HBook but of your theme that you are after. 
If you theme does not offer you this option, there are free plugins that can do that (for example this one or that one).

HBook current payment gateways are Stripe(not available in India) and Paypal. I use PayPal Express Checkout and your customers can pay with their Paypal account or with credit card if they do not have an account.
Any other payment gateways (PayU, CCAvenue…) would require coding the integration.

they are there but not visible in hbook settings page, there are just two; dutch and english. When clicking on “import language” I have to select the language, but in the dropdown only english and dutch are available. That’s why I ask, you see? Thanks

If you wish to have a multi-language website, you need to use a plugin as for example Polylang or WPML. As soon as you set the languages in the multi-language plugin, they will be automatically added in HBook->Text and in the drop-down in HBook->Languages.

My customer, a sauna, wants a reservation module on his site. Cuold you confirm taht the following options/Features are available with your plugin please?
- set up minimal booking time (2 hours) – booking mandatory 48h in advance – booking possible between 48h and 1min in advance only by the admin in the admin interface or other? – bookings available only between 10:00AM and 10:00PM – mandatory unavailability of 2hours after every booking during the week and mandatory unavailibility of 1hour during the week-end. (needed time to clean the sauna for the next guest) – minimal booking duration of 2hours. – no maximum booking duration (except between 10:00AM and 10:00PM as mentioned above)

HBook includes the possibility to set as many email templates as you wish that can be automatically sent on “New reservation”, “Confirmation of reservation”, “Cancellation of reservation”. I am afraid there is no options to send automatically SMS notifications.
It can interest you to know that for admin SMS notification, it can be very easy to set up as it is possible to auto-forward an email received in your mailbox to a SMS on your phone. If you browse the internet, you will find plenty of information on that point.
Note that I am not available for this kind of customization. Thank you for your comprehension.

Hi, I am interested in using this plugin. Ive read a couple previous comments and it would seem its not currently possible to allow a customer to login or make a part payment on a booking.
Is is possible to integrate other payment gateways with the plugin rather than just Paypal such as Worldpay, sagepay, etc..

No, the client do not have front-end access to the WP install (with username and password to manage his booking for example).
Online payment through HBook can be done only at the time of the booking, with the current version. If you need to have your client paying at a later stage, it has do be done by other means (bank transfer, etc…).
The current payment gateways are Stripe and Paypal. I wish to add others later on. WorldPay, Authorize, Sagepay… but as well PayUMoney or CCAvenue are among the payment gateway I wish to offer.

I have two seasons. Each season has a different rate. I also have a different rate for weekday/weekends for each season. Essentially I have four different rates. What’s the best way going about entering in the rates? I am thinking I need to essentially have 2 sub-seasons for each season. For example, Season A-Weekday, Season A-Weekend, Season B-Weekday, and Season B-Weekend. Is this the only way to do it? I was hoping for something more efficient.

Yes, this is exactly how you need to do. HBook is coded to suit a huge variety of situations, so something simpler might have be fine for you but not for everyone. It is quite quick to set 4 seasons and 4 rates, isn’t it?

One other question, I have added three fees. Two are regular, fixed amount fees and the third is a tax percentage. How do I get the tax percentage to count the two fees into the total price? When I set it to global percentage it does not show up in the price breakdown.
EDIT: Nevermind, it shows up in the booking form total, just not in the price breakdown.
Alright, sorry for another question but I’m running into an issue with the sub-seasons I referenced earlier. I also have a weekly rate and it is not being calculated properly. Here is an example of my seasons/pricing.

If you have as well a weekly pricing, then you should set your seasons differently. The way you have done the set up as in screenshot can not work. Sure, no problem at all with Sailing theme.
No, user can not manage their reservations as they are not users of your WordPress installation. They do not have a front-end access as “Manage my booking” access with login details. They would need to contact you if they wish to make a change to their booking. You can customize the emails that are automatically sent to the customer when they book. It can include any contact information useful for them to change their booking. 
You can set as many accommodation types as needed. With the current version of HBook, there is no possibility to book multiple rooms under a same reservation.
However, you can use a workaround for larger group (set for example extra accommodation types that will be for group booking or for a combination of rooms). Note that it means that you will need to manually update availability.
Have you checked the demos? If it is an admin demo that you meant, I am afraid that I do not have any admin demos available. Please do not hesitate to check the documentation, as you will find plenty of screenshots of the back-end.

1.Yes, you can set that minimum stays if this is your question. For example, if you set a minimum stay of 3 nights, someone who choose a check-in on a Monday can select a check-out from the Thursday.
2. With the current version of HBook, multiple room booking is not possible. I have that on my wishlist for future development. There is a workaround for that: you will set an extra accommodation type which will be “2 double rooms”. Note that it means that you will need to update manually the availability. I give you an example to illustrate this: let’s say you have 6 double rooms. You have created an accommodation type named “Double room” and have set that you have “6” of this type. You will create another accommodation type named “2 double rooms” and indicate that you have 3 of this type. If someone books a “2 double room”, you will need to manually block 2 “Double rooms”, as you have only 4 left. This can be easily done from the back-end.

However, if you wish to change how it is displayed in the email, you can add a letter in front of the variable [resa_id].

Hi I am just wondering is this possible: I will set this plugin up on my existing SSL site (separate business). My Accommodation website is on another server not SSL. Can i add just the first part of the booking system on the accommodation site example. Check in , check out, adults. Submit then diverts user to SSL site to finish the process??

I am afraid this will not work without customization. You can not have one part of the booking process taking place on one site to redirect to your other site to finish the booking process…
What you can do is to have a button on your accommodation website that redirects your user to the booking page of your second website where HBook is installed.
Note that you do not need SSL for HBook to work.

With the current version of HBook, there is no specific option for security deposit. I have in mind to add it soon.
There is a workaround to have the compulsory security deposit added on top of the booking. You can add it as an extra-service ; it will be the single option of a multiple choice extra. Hence, it will be selected by default and the client can not unselect it.
The price of the security deposit will be added automatically to the reservation price. As you can customize the text displayed by HBook, you can clearly have it shown as the security deposit. Maybe this can work for you?
You can set email templates. They can be sent automatically on “New reservation” (when the client has just made the online booking), “Confirmation of reservation” (when you tick Confirm for the reservation on the back-end) or on “Cancellation of reservation” (when you tick Cancel on the back-end). It can covers 2 of the 3 emails you wish to have. You can use the “Confirm” action to send the Final Balance reminder. If you need a third one, it would need customization.
There is no specific option in HBook to produce invoice or receipt. You can export reservations details and customer details in .csv file. This is a very versatile format that can be used for Excel for example. I know that some clients use this to work with an Invoicing system.

Cependant, je rencontre un petit souci: Si quelqu’un réserve une chambre pour une période et même si cela est confirmé, les dates ne se mettent pas dans la couleur “réservé” dans le calendrier. Mais si on fait une recherche dans cette période, c’est bien spécifié que c’est réservé.
Par contre la couleur se met bien si on est connecté au back end wordpress ou alors on doit mettre à jour la page avec le shortcode de réservation pour que les dates réservées soient mis à jour dans la couleur “réservé” dans le calendrier.
Comment est-ce que je pourrais remédier à cela?

Si vous avez une seule chambre de ce type et qu’elle est réservée, alors le calendrier l’affiche automatiquement comme non-disponible pour les dates réservées. Vous pouvez vérifier ce fonctionnement par exemple avec la demo 2.

The rules are not set properly:
- you should not have a minimum stay at “0” nights. Leave that field empty as you only need a maximum stay for the “short stay” rule.
- your second advanced booking rule should have a minimum stay at 7nights and max stay at 7 nights if it is a weekly rate. Note that this king of rule for weekly pricing is now not needed since version 1.6.2 of HBook. You can just enter your rate for 7 nights in Rates.

HBook current payment gateways are Paypal and Stripe. If your client wish to add this gateway, that would need coding the integration.
Stripe is great for credit card payments as your client stays on your webpage.

You are right, sorry for that! I was looking at analysis regarding barion payment gateway and I missed the fact that they recentrly added support for $ and €.
However, the payment gateways I wish to add next are of a different scale in the online payment gateway market share (let me put it this way
): Authorize.net, WorldPay, Braintree, CCAvenue,... for example.
For any payment gateway which is more localy based (a bank, a payment gateway mainly directed at local business), I would suggest enlisting a developper.
