Hi,

Just bought Boolky and installed it on WP 4.7 + updated the plugin to v12.1. I configured the plugin, created a staff member, a category, but when I click on ”+ Add a service”, the green button changes with a “loading” gif but no new service is being created. (I didn’t have had the problem with the free version)

this plugin is compatible with extra product? And can I add in every product in Woocommerce? Can I block user to booking after 18pm?

Thank you for your interest in Bookly.

You will have to create one default product with any price (for example $1) in WooCommerce and select it in Bookly Settings. Customers will select a new timeslot and each time default product’s name with price will be overridden with currently selected information and will be added to the WooCommerce cart.
In order to set a booking schedule – you should navigate to the //Staff Members/Schedule tab to set necessary hours for days of the week. There is also the Days Off tab to disable certain days of the year. Please, note that //Settings/Business Hours page settings work as a template for newly created staff members. So you might set those settings as well, but only staff members schedules affect timeframe available for booking. I have a problem. I need set on the same time my limit booking was 3. and if I got 3 booking , I will close My time’s one hour before and one hour later.

In accordance the current operation I got a result. On that time E.g if I want booking14:00 whether the limit, Even if I have only one order, 13:00 and 15:00 can not to booking.

How can I do fix this problem.

This is the way it works. So it counts that for the future possible appointments as well. If there would be a booking at 13:00, it would end at 14:00. Although because the plugin also has the parameter Padding Before enabled, it doesn’t allow that as there is 1 hour timeframe necessary before and after each appointment that might be booked. So you might set the padding time for either before or after the appointment only, or make both of those timeframes smaller. I have just installed the booklet plugin and so far I am happy with the promise of all its features. However, it is not allowing me to save new staff members, or new services…. What’s up with this? I paid Envato both the premium upgrade licensing fee, and also paid the extra $20 for installation. In addition I bought the locations add-on for $29 and paid an additional $20 for installing that… Now it’s not even working properly. For instance, it doesn’t have anything in my “wp users” pulldown in the new staff member window… even though I have 5 wp users on my site. I then added all the staff information for 2 staffers, and saved it, but… it didn’t save… What is wrong here????

Hi there, I’m having some issues setting up the Bookly plug in: http://www.skinconcept.com.mx/citas/ - amount is with periods instead of commas as in Europe: $1.000,00 instead of $1,000.00 as in North America - can’t set up payment with WooCommerce. We are not using any of the listed Merchants Accounts (Stripe, PayPal Express), we are using Conekta and regular PayPal in Mexico - Timing is from 3am until 1pm instead of from 10am until 7pm as I have it not he Bookly settings. Try to see the currency format and editing this file: “lib/utils/AB_CommonUtils.php” somewhere near the line #121.

You should make sure that you have timezone city settings set up correctly in Wordpress Settings and also you might want to disable the parameter “Display available time slots in client’s time zone” in Bookly Settings.

I was trying to setting up the BOOKED plugin, but as soon as I click on SETTING in PLUGINs, I am getting a error “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

Our demo presets reset each 10 minutes. If you use Bookly Lite, you need to make sure that your current admin user session is active. If you are sure that everything is set properly but it still doesn’t work – please, send us an email at support@ladela.com with screenshots and additional details of the case so we could investigate and help you fix this.

Found a rare use case that leads to a bug:

From the calendar page, if a client has left a very long comment it cannot be viewed in its entirety on that page

Hi,

We are using Bookly on our website (www.suffolkspas.co.uk). I have setup PayPal API, but when you click the Next button on the Payment tab (step 6), instead of passing you to PayPal, it resets the booking back to Step 1 (Services).

Could you let me know why this is and how to fix the problem please? Time is a little tight and we really want to get this working quickly.

Hi,

My customer, a sauna, wants a reservation module on his site. Cuold you confirm taht the following options/Features are available with your plugin please?

- set up minimal booking time (2 hours) – booking mandatory 48h in advance – booking possible between 48h and 1min in advance only by the admin in the admin interface or other? – bookings available only between 10:00AM and 10:00PM – mandatory unavailability of 2hours after every booking during the week and mandatory unavailibility of 1hour during the week-end. (needed time to clean the sauna for the next guest) – minimal booking duration of 2hours. – no maximum booking duration (except between 10:00AM and 10:00PM as mentioned above)

1) Bookly is designed to work with time slots so the duration of a service is fixed. You could create more services with various duration, starting with 2 hours. You can set a minimum time requirement prior to booking for 2 days that will affect the front end. In the back end you can create freely appointments.

2) You can set this schedule, and use padding times after the booked appointments.

3) The longest duration of a service is a full day.

You can set this automatically for all days only. It will not create breaks in the timetable, but simply will block certain time before or/and after existing appointment. The Padding time parameters are set in Service settings.

Since the Bookly bug fix, I am struggling to get the calendar working. I’ve made a video to help you see the issues I’m having. Please let me know what steps I am getting wrong. Please see: https://youtu.be/TqCOeAwSe60.

I purchased this over 6 months ago – but I do believe that since it was a Bookly bug fix, that I should still be entitled to free support. If there hadn’t been the bug – I wouldn’t be having these issues.

I’ve sent a number of messages over the past week and do not believe that I’ve had adequate support for these issues. I’ve had to in the meantime purchase another booking calendar product as I can not have an online calendar be down for so long.

I hope that you can help me with this issue as I do not feel it fair that I have to keep purchasing support when the Bookly product keeps going wrong. I have also had to go to the expense of buying another product in the interim while I attempt to get adequate support for Bookly.

Hi,

I purchased the bookly add and service schedule addon. I am running payments through woocommerce and have woocommerce send an email with an invoice to the customer. When I add an appointment from the wp-admin this functionality doesn’t work. Is there a way to add appointments from the backend and it triggers the woocommerce email and invoice?

Then can I put a customer field on the front end so that I can send the invoice. My goal is to be able to create appointments/orders for clients, but I don’t want to have to login for each one or lookup up email addresses all the time. I really appreciate your work, but this seems like a huge feature that is missing. If there is no way for me the admin to create an order for my clients then I unfortunately don’t think I can use this anymore. How would I get a refund?

Do you have any advice for easy ways to create appointments for my clients that also bill them?

I’m sorry, it will not be possible to develop this feature in a described way. The good news is that you can create appointments on the frontend. It’s the easiest way to do this, the process is fast and intuitive (though you should be ready to enter client’s name, email and a phone number). Hope this doesn’t bring much inconvenience into your process.

Hello,

I just purchased and installed this on my client’s site, http://www.celestialmassage.com. The client claims that the time slots are not removed when they test adding appointments. Please advise.

Both of the staff members on their site have the capacity option set at “1” – and yet time slots are not being marked as taken.

Why do you need to show a signup for newsletter form in backend? I’m already subscribed via Envato, why is it necessary to start spamming the dashboard?

And if necessary, why do you need to show it to ALL users/user roles? I’m working with clients and they want an interface that is as clean and simple as possible, but Bookly is now showing signup forms to everybody. Comon…. if you really have to, then limit it to administrators only so it stays in my vision, but don’t start hijacking the screens from users.

Please advise how to hide those information for other users. This is not serious and I’m very disappointed a professional tool likes this is turning into this kind of plugin :( We are paying for a premium plugin, so I don’t think advertising or any kind of marketing should be put inside the backend.

We added the subscription for news, updates, or if there’ll be cases when we’ll need to inform all of our customers and we didn’t send one email till this moment. That window will appear only once, and after you close it or submit an email address, it won’t appear ever again. Thanks for the feedback, for the next update we’ll make it available only for admin users.
