If you were to use Calluna theme with HBook for the booking system, you will not use AWE plugin. It will work perfectly fine. You can still use your theme page template to showcase your rooms. There is a setting for that and you can insert HBook shortcodes (for availability calendar, search form, etc…) anywhere on your site.
It will work perfectly fine. I guess you read a comment on the Hotel Calluna forum when their theme did not have a booking system included. I checked and could only find a comment from a year ago mentioning hbook.

Great plugin! Two questions:
1. Where can I translate ‘first name’ and ‘last name’ in the form? It’s not in the POT file and in the backend the label is not edittable like the custom fields you can add in the form.
2. How can I set the price breakdown to be shown by default in stead of need to click on it?

1. You can change ‘first name’ and ‘last name’, as any text displayed by HBook, in HBook->Text.

Yes, you can set that there is a minimum stay of 1 week. If the cottage is booked on per-week basis ( 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks but not 10 days for example), it is as well possible to set it this way. You can see in out Demo 2 an example similar as what you describe..

Hello, After reading a lot, it come to my mind, if hbook has the ssl certification? I mean this because there’s lot of sensitiv info from clientes passing by the website/plugin such as credit cards numbers.. and some may don’t trust in the website if it’s not safe.. To have a site in https, you need to buy a SSL certificate. The SSL certificate is installed on the server for your website. It is beyond HBook plugin. 
HBook works without SSL or with SSL. Up to you to ask your hostprovider to add an SSL certificate.

You do not need an SSL certificate to have secured transactions. Stripe and Paypal both have high security levels and no sensible information is stored on your server. You can perfectly activate Stripe or Paypal payment for HBook without SSL. No worries!
However, the SSL adds another layer of verification. It is as well useful to have https site with Google ranking now. And your customers will feel safer

Hello – I have some pre-sale questions:
1. When Hbook reserves rooms with deposit, we would like payment in full two weeks before arrival. Is this possible?
2. Can we set a 2 nights minimum (can be flexible) within the week and 1 night over the weekend (for example).
3. Currently we are using Awebooking and Stripe – and if a credit card doesn’t go through – it still reserves the room. We would like a failed credit card to not impact the reservation.
4. How flexible is the ability to cancel and change reservations. Often people want to shift dates and that’s impossible with Awebooking.
5. Does your plugins offer package add-ons, like adding a Massage?
6. I know others are asking for flexible minimum nights by season – is this something you are still working on?

Thank you for your interest in HBook plugin.
1. The remaining balance can not be paid online through HBook at a later stage. You will need to ask your clients to pay you via other means (bank transfer for example). You can update the payment status and remaining balance in the back-end. You can as well use the action “confirm” for a booking once remaining balance is received fro example. This action trigger the automatic sending of any email template associated with the “confirm” action.
2. Yes, the minimum stay can depend on the season and you can set which days of a week belong to a season. So you can have for example a season “Weekday – low season” with 2-nights min stay and a season “Weekend- low season” with a min stay at 1 night.
3. If a payment via Stripe does not go through, the reservation is not saved. However, you can offer several payment options to your customer so you could accept reservation without payment too. Check for example Demo 2. This way a client can still book even if Stripe payment failed. 
4. With the current version of HBook, it is not possible to change check-in and check-out date of a reservation. I have in mind to allow the change of the nb of nights (check-out date) as this is way more simpler than completely changing a reservation. And from the feedback I received from HBook clients, it covers most of the need as customer mainly wish to shorten or extend their stay.
5. Yes you can add Extra-services as a massage for example, a guided tour, breakfast options, etc…
6. This is already added! You can now set different minimum stay according to seasons.

Is it possible to add at PayPal checkout under it that is buyer doesn’t have PayPal can still pay with he’s credit card? Can you add Braintree checkout as not a lot of countries like mine support stripe? Can you clarify linece? When used to book a room with PayPal check out for an example normal or extended license is needed it?

If you have enable in Paypal dashboard that the Paypal account is not compulsory, then clients should be able to use the guest checkout and pay with credit card details.
Braintree is on the list of interesting payment gateway to add but I can not guarantee it will be done soon. 
Regular Licence is the only licence I offer for HBook. One licence for one end site. There is no add-on or extra-plugin to buy to use Paypal or Stripe. No extended licence either. If you buy HBook, you have all features the plugin offers.

Thank for the quick reply. So with stadard license the plug in can be used in one website and charge the customer who makes a booking. Is this right? For PayPal what I am asking is to inform customer that he can also pay with credit card because when they see as payment option only PayPal they might cancel thinking that they don’t have PayPal.

You can customize any text displayes by HBook, so you can clearly indicate that they can use credit card with Paypal if they do not have Paypal account.

Our hosting provider does not whitelist the server. So he want to know which IP address he could whitelist so the verify function works great for updating the plugin.

When using the search console, How can I set which accomodations will be shown depending on the number of guests?

1. What you are after is a minimum occupancy, am I right? So if a booking is for 2 people, you do not wish to show the accommodation that can accommodate for up to 4 persons for example? I am afraid this is not possible with the current version of HBook. I have that feature on my wishlist for future developments 
2. This is perfectly feasible. You will see that in Rates, you can enter the “Accommodation rate” which is your base rate, which will correspond to the price for the normal occupancy (as set in your accommodation type). Then, you can enter the rate for adults and children above normal occupancy.
In your example, you might wish to set the normal occupancy at 1 if you charge per person. Then the accomodation rate will be the price for 1 adult and you will set the rate for adult and children (50%) above normal occupancy. This way, the price calculation will always respect the children and adult rates.

My full case is the next:
I offer 3 apartments:
-apartment with one double room -apartment with two double room -apartment with three double room
groups of people can rent each apartment and price will depend on number of people. For example, 3 guests on a 2 rooms ap. would be 122€, but 4 guests on the same apartment would be 168€ (in the first case, two guests pay 42/each for sharing a room and the other guests pays 61€ for the private room for him). In case of being 4, each pays 42.
But, if any of these guests is a child, has a 50% discount.

I guess you have added a multi-language plugin? If this is the case, please refer to the documentation here to check how to set up WPML or Polylang with HBook.

Regarding your mathematics, I can not follow your logic
Case 3 persons: 42*2 + 61 = 145 (while you indicate 122)
You can not set a pricing where the 3rd person will be at €61 and the 4th person at €23. The difference between each guest beyond normal occupancy should be the same.

Problem now is minimum occupancy.
For a 2 guests booking it shows all the options…

I do not know how your pricing work but you surely can set that a 2 bedroom apartment is more expensive than a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 persons. It does not make sense to be the opposite, I agree. 
As explained in my previous reply, there is no “minimum occupancy” setting with the current version of HBook. If you absolutely need minimum occupancy settings, I suggest that you enlist a developer for that customization.
The only workaround I can suggest is to firstly send your visitors to different booking pages depending on how many persons they wish to book for. In the page for 2 persons, you add the search form and you can add Custom CSS to hide in the results the accommodation types that you do not wish to allow to be booked for 2 persons. If you need help for this CSS, I can help you with that, no worries.

Thanks for the answers. As I understood it’s only possible to prevent a reservation to happen, setting it to happen with at least 1 day ahead but when you do this you can’t receive last minute reservations, which it’s not so good but at the same time having a reservation at 10pm for a guest to check-in at 12pm it’s also not so good! =/ Just another two questions, it’s possible to set a room as a promotion package and then set availability only for a certain period of time? Eg. Apartment 1: stay 2 nights -15% off as a packadge (and then you set a rule to book only 2 nights (not more, not less) and with 15% off from standart rate) ? Is it possible to use hbook with holetiour theme from ait themes? I’m looking for a multilanguage theme with it’s own translating system.. Thanks once again.

Yes, you understood it right. Either you accept same day requests… or you set that it is not possible to book “x” number of nights from current date. It can not be set as a nb of hours from current time. 
- You can set a discount according to a booking rule. So yes, you can set a discount of 15% for 2 nights stay only.
- Yes, HBook works with any WordPress theme and it will work well with hoteliour theme.

There is no options for that in HBook. However, it seems to me perfectly feasible: you create a 2 colums section (as for example 1/3 and 2/3 columns) on a page for example, you will have your text on the 1/3 column and the search form on the 2/3 column.

Hi, I’m wondering on buying hbook plugin.Could you advise if the following are possible: 1- having at all weekends min. nights 2 and in other special periods different min of nights and at the same time having seasons prices(low, high, special) 2- add a time limit for reservations? eg. 6h before check-in time or until 18.00pm same day 3- option to ‘had’ a baby under 2 years(1 or more) and to have the option to have a extra fee for crib (or only as an extra service) 4- to have extras( eg. boat sailing) appearing with an image and some description and not only with price? 5- possible to set max number of extra beds depending on room type? (eg. apartment with 1 bed + couch = 2 people/normal rate + 2 max extra person ->only for this apartment) 6- coupons system for promotions in returning guests, or social networking followers? 1. Yes, you can set different seasons (Low, high, special) and set different min stay depending on the season. You can create min stay of 2 nights for the week-end as well. You will set a min stay depending on the check-in day if your week-end pricing is not different. If the rate is different for week-ends, then you need to set them as a season, which is easy enough too. 
2. You can set a nb of days ahead the current date to prevent bookings but it is in terms of day and not in terms of hour. The smallest will be then to prevent customer to book 1 day before arrival. To give you an example, without this setting, I can book for tonight while with a “nb of days from current date” set to “1”, I can only book for a check-in on tomorrow night.
3. This can be set as extra-services. It can be set as “free”.
4. I had never tried but I just did. So, I can tell you that it is possible. There is a menu in HBook to change the text displayed by default and you can add html tags here. So you can add an image and description. 
5. Yes, you will set the normal occupancy as your accommodation rate (2 people/normal rate) and you can set the maximum occupancy (4 people in your example). Then, you can enter the rate for adults/children above normal occupancy. The occupancy settings are defined for each accommodation type, so you can have different normal/max occupancy depending on the accommodation type.
6. Coupons/Vouchers is not possible with the current version of HBook. It is a feature I wish to add in the future but you will understand that I can not guarantee that it will be added soon.

-back-end: tiene que copiar los ficheros hbook-admin-es_ES.mo y hbook-admin-es_ES.po y pegarlos en la carpeta hbook/languages
- front-end: tiene que usar el menu HBook->Languages y importar el fichero hbook-es_ES.txt

This would need customization. It is a good question if the extra should be added straight after the room selection or after the customer details. I tend to think that anything that has to do with price is to be together and then the client fills in the form with his details before paying.

Hi quick presale question. Is there a function to save the client? So if a client books in, or we manually book in a reservation for January, and if they come back in Feb again we can pull their stored user details without having to type them in manually each time? (name, address, phone, etc)
