Hello, I purchased a few days ago and am now trying to install. My site is on PHP 5.6 with the latest wordpress version. Once the plugin is installed, when I click on activate, the page goes to an error screen saying HTTP Error 500, Can’t process. I’ve spoken to the web host support who can’t see a problem. Can you please advise? Thank you

Hello, I recently purchased the Team Booking plugin, but upon activation (PHP version is 5.6) I get the blank page , saying the site can’t handle the request and a HTML 500 error.

Hi Von I’ve added Team Booking to my site. It displays fine but it has a large time zone option box top right of the monthly calendar. When I click on an event in the calendar the event button is almost below the fold/frame of your plugin’s window. It seems the large Timezone box may be pushing things down below the fold/frame. How do I solve this issue?

Your calendar shortcode is wrapped in < pre > tags that scrambles the CSS rules. Have you perhaps copy/pasted the shortcode from the documentation? Don’t do that, please insert the shortcode with the TeamBooking shortcode button (or write it manually).

Perfect, I typed it in but still had the same issue. Then I went to the Wordpress Text view and removed the < pre > tags there. That did the job.

My client offers different services that have different durations for example:
Color treatment = 1.5h Water treatment = 2.5h Heat treatment = 1h
So I understand with your plugin I can create 3 calendars with different time slots each (1, 1.5 and 2.5 hours slots), right? And put the corresponding calendar on the corresponding page.
The problem I see is that she is the only person who gives all three treatments and what happens if she is busy at a given date with Calendar 1 “Color treatment” will the calendars for “water” and “heat” be marked as “Not available”?

Yes of course, that’s possible using multiple services containers (if you want to keep all the events in a single Google Calendar) OR with interdependency settings (if you have one Google Calendar per service).

Please note that the frontend calendar is not a direct expression of a particular Google Calendar, so it can show all the services or just some of them, as you please.

Before considering any purchase, please read very carefully the documentation to see if it fits your needs.

Hi VonStroheim. We are seeing an issue where the page on which we are attempting to render the calendar via shortcode is loading without the WP adminbar, and only the title of the page: no team booking calendar. It looks similar to when a page isn’t calling the footer when you are designing a theme. Any ideas what might be causing that? Indeed, the shortcode rendering is broken. Please inspect your error.log file and ensure you’ve correctly migrated the database from test to production (if this was your workflow).

Thanks for the quick reply. We didn’t migrate the database. Just started from scratch after testing in the dev environment. I did previously try to repair the database using the button in Core Settings with no improvement. Strangely it is working on other pages, but I can’t find a pattern for why it intermittently works on some pages, but not others:

There is nothing in the error logs for today. I’ve turned on the verbose error logging in core settings but those don’t seem to be rendering either.

Oh, that’s really weird, what is the difference between those two pages? Is the shortcode inserted the same?

The error log of TeamBooking refers only to Google API errors. Please contact me privately via my profile page providing an FTP access, so we can generate a proper error.log file eventually.

Hi, We have been using your plugin’s demo and we think that ‘Team Booking – WordPress booking system’ fulfill our needs but wer have some questions before buying the plyugin

Scenario: We would like to add a booking system on our wordpress site on which users will come and book our tour service.

We run 2 tour services everyday: 1. 10am – 1pm – capacity 3 2. 4pm – 7pm – capacity 3

When users land on booking page, they will select the date and time slot and then they make payment via Paypal.

We are underassumption that the google calendar will be populated on that date and time and reflect the latest changes. Now, if someone books a tour on the phone and our customer service take the payment on the phone, they will update the google calendar manually (not from the plugin)the relevant date and time slot of the tour.

Question1: Will new users visiting our site see the new booking update on google calendar, which was done manually by our customer service? Question 2: is our scenario of booking possible through your plugin??

I’m sorry, which demo are you referring to?

1) TeamBooking works with availabilities that are placed in your Google Calendar. If you manually modify one of those available timeslots in your Google Calendar by changing it’s title, then that particular timeslot won’t be shown in the frontend anymore (because it’s not an “available timeslot” anymore). Anyway, it’s always better to insert the phone/manual reservations via the frontend calendar itself (administrators will skip any payment process, so it’s easy) because doing so will result in a reservation record that can be managed in the plugin’s backend.

2) Yes, I guess. But please read very carefully the online documentation before considering any purchase.

I am looking for a plugin enabling to set-up appointments for some services that must be done at the customers’ house, for which it is necessary to count the travel time of the providers (travelling from the office of the providers to the customer’s house).

This travel time varies obviously according to the location of each customer.

If I buy your plugin, is there a way allowing each provider to adjust his calendar in real time and to display the calendar publicly, so that all customers know in real time his avaibility and book the service easily?

About MailChimp integration, honestly I don’t see a clear use-case, because MailChimp is something generally used for campaigns and newsletters… could you please make a usage example?

I’ve been having some issues lately with the plugin. The page that I use the plugin on crashes when the plugin is active. If I deactivate the plugin, the page loads just fine. Hello, I am currently using this plugin and love it, but for some reason I have a new site with a second license that is not pulling the css until the initial month’s view is advanced. Because of this, the calendar does not work unless the current month is changed. Any idea why? The site is not live yet and it is using blankslate as a base theme.

Okay, I have managed to correct the layout issue with

.tb-frontend-calendar p, .tb-frontend-calendar br { display: none!important; }

but unless the calendar is advanced in either direction (forward or backwards) the services do not load when a day is selected.

upon further investigation, using the default theme works… but with blankslate the following js doesn’t load until the calendar is moved up or back a month. frontend.js?ver=1479150590”

So, it seems not an issue of TeamBooking ;)

Probably, your theme is doing a bad job with the resource’s enqueuing. Please:

1) Ensure you’re running the latest version of TeamBooking (very important)

2) Contact your theme’s support, making that clear: switching to a basic theme doesn’t broke anything

3) Contact me privately, if your theme’s support is not collaborative

Re-installing is never a solution. I guess you are in trouble because of “endless recurring events” that may be present in your Google Calendar, but it’s just a guess. Please contact me privately via my profile page, providing an FTP access and a WordPress access, so I can take a look personally.

Our client is selling Entrance Ticket, hopefully can use your plugin can be used.

1) how to set Event as full day? No time slow needed. I have tried but can only set 23 Hours 59 Minutes maximum. 2) In your demo, Max total tickets per slot = 200, we need more than that such as 1000 entrance ticket available per day for visitor to purchase. 3) in payment steps, besides Paypal, can we display other options such as (a) Pay Later (b) display bank detail so visitor can transfer payment via online banking?

1) Do you mean in Google Calendar? When you edit an event, there is a checkbox “All-day” ;) You can create full day events also by clicking in the uppermost row of Google Calendar view. Check this guide as example.

2) This is currently a limitation of Google Calendar events, But you can overcome this, with the creation of multiple events in the same day/times (e.g. 5 in a day: 200*5=1000).

3) If the payment is discretional, TeamBooking doesn’t show a “Pay Later” option, it just do the reservation and then shows a “Do you want to pay right now?” option, which is more “user comfortable” in my opinion. About your bank details to allow for a bank transfer (i.e. a custom text to show in the payment step), this is not possible yet. But you can insert your bank details in the service’s description which is shown at the top of the reservation form, anyway.

Please note: if you are going to manage tons of reservations (e.g. 1000 per day @ 30 days per month), then in case of a low-resource server (shared hosting plans etc) you might experience low performance overall, because TeamBooking fetches your reservation records very often to keep a real-time sync with your Google Calendar(s).
