Hi Team ARG,
For some strange reason the checkout will not go past the Shipping phase on the dev site but thankfully the live site still works OK.
Any ideas why this might be happening?

Tab colors fully customizable
This week we had some server stuff issues, but everything is ok now. We tried to offer the same experience to all users around the globe – the checkout page load speed in around one second (because this is the loading time of the checkout page with our multistep if, for example, the server is located in US and the users access it from US) by compressing and caching the files. But because some customers wanted to see the multistep checkout files(css, js, html markup) in the Dom, we gave up on this idea.
We are dedicated to providing our customers with an excellent product and outstanding customer service. If you have any questions, please post them here and we will answer them promptly.
All knowing issues had been solved, including the conflict with the plugin “WooCommerce Germanized”.

Hello,
The plugin works great on my main site, however it is giving me an error with my 2 multisites. Both multisites go to a white blank page.
The error is: Fatal error: Call to undefined function argMC\is_checkout() in /www/wp-content/plugins/arg-multistep-checkout/class-arg-multistep-checkout.php on line 194
Is there a way to fix this?

Is it possible with this plugin to switch step 3 and step 4 around so it goes Login > Customer Address > Payment Info > Your Order? On the Japanese website they add a surcharge to Cash on Delivery and because the payment phase is the last step, the surcharge is not displayed under Your Order. We have the surcharge working and displaying correctly on Your Order but we would like it the last step rather than the second from last step if that makes sense.

I’m glad you asked that because we’ve submitted the plugin v1.9 and added new cool features like order review step, full control over the tabs colors, made the step validation much faster (removed the preloader on step validation)...
With the v1.9, you can rename the “Order Review” step to “Order” and use the last option of the wizard step section “Order Table on Order Review Step”, and your problem is solved. Please read more about this new feature here.

We didn’t test the compatibility with this add-on, but it will probably work because we didn’t change the woocommerce checkout forms, we only transformed them into a multistep.
To be honestly, we saw this add-on integrated very well with ARG Multistep on some websites of our customers.

Hi,
I am setting up WooCommerce subscriptions and was wondering if this plugin allows me to skip the cart page. Also when user clicks subscribe can it automatically redirect them to this checkout form and therefore missing the basket/cart all together?

This plugin is for woocommerce checkout page, it will convert the checkout forms (login, coupon, billing…) into a step-by-step form wizard for a better user experience during purchase.
Functionalities like “skip the cart page” or “redirect the users to the checkout page” will require some custom code edits on your end.

Love the plugin! Few presale questions. I noticed that the previous button and complete order button are the same color. Is there any way to change their colors. SO for example previous can be grey and completed order can be green? Would help UX very much! Also, when it is resized to mobile, is there anyway to make the completed order button appear first and the previous button below it?

Hi There,
I seem to have lost the “remove from cart” button (the little X) it’s not super critical as they are subscription based products and you can only have 1 in the cart at at a time anyways, but still I’d like to have the flexibility of physically removing it from my cart.

It’s a little tricky to move the coupon form after the billing information because then you will have a form (coupon form) inside another form (checkout form), and this will not work…
You can have several forms in a page but they should not be nested. HTML explicitly forbids nested forms.
A solution could be to show the coupon in the checkout page via hooks (woocommerce_before_checkout_form) before the checkout form, hide it in default state, and on domReady move it via js after the billing form, and after that show it.
However, this is just a suggestion, we don’t encourage this solution because of what we said before.

We’ve implemented this on our site, and have run into a few things: 1. ARG on the login page disables the native “Returning customer? Login here” link at the top of the login page. When we disable the plugin it appears; when we enable the plugin it disappears. How can we override the plugin’s removal of this important piece? (code pls) 2. We’ve added the coupon code to the top of the order & summary combined page using the woo hook woocommerce_checkout_order_review. Same as above, when we disable the plugin it appears; when we enable the plugin it disappears. We’ve looked through your code and can’t see where you’re overwriting this section – can you please point us to where we can find that?

Regarding your questions:
1. We didn’t disable the “Returning customer? Login here” link, it’s just hidden. The link was there to show the login form when a user clicked on it, but if the login form is visible, we don’t know what is the importance of that link…
Here is the code to unhide the login link:
.argmc-wrapper .argmc-login-step .woocommerce-info { display: block; }
Also you need to remove/comment this code from style.css (path of the file: arg-multistep-checkout/css/style.css):
.argmc-wrapper .argmc-login-step form.login { display: block !important; }
2. We split the woocommerce_checkout_order_review in two hooks because order summary and payment methods can be listed in two different steps.
Those are ‘woocommerce_order_review’ for order review and ‘woocommerce_checkout_payment’ for payment methods.
It’s a little tricky to move the coupon form before the order summary because then you will have a form (coupon form) inside another form (checkout form), and this will not work…
Anyway, if you decide to move it, you could use this hooks: “woocommerce_order_review” / “woocommerce_checkout_before_order_review”.

Hi my friend, thank for this plugin. Everything is working expect the coupon code. It is not showing on my theme. If I F5 the site the coupon form is only showing for 0,5 seconds.

Hello, I want to know if this will bring my header and footer or it will bring a custom one?, in that case, can I add my logo. Or can I bring a special header or footer that I have specially for checkout?.

Your checkout page elements (header, footer, logo…) will remain the same as they are right now. Only the checkout forms (login, coupon, billing…) will convert into a step-by-step form wizard.
You can also keep the design and styles for the woocommerce checkout forms from your theme. Please read more about this feature here.
