Hello,

after setting up the ARG Multistep Checkout plugin to my side, i can’t use my Plugin “WooCommerce Germanized” (https://vendidero.de/erweiterungen/themes) anymore. It’s necessary because of some specified german settings. The last step of checkout can not be done because nothing happens after pressing buy-button. Could you help me?

Kind regards

Hello, How to to keep the Tab text (ex: Billing & Shipping | Order & payment) and not get the numbers shown even when the res come smaller than 767px wide? or another nice way would be to add a custom Text before each step (payment-order.php for example) to avoid just the items shown in Order & payment step without any indication before.

The thing is that numbers are not giving any indication of the name of the step.

Thanks

Hi @skystream,

Thank you for choosing ARG Multistep Checkout.

You can edit form-checkout.php file in an upgrade-safe way using overrides. Copy it into a directory within your theme named /woocommerce, keeping the same file structure.

To override the form-checkout.php file navigate to wp-content -> plugins -> arg-multistep-checkout -> woocommerce, copy the form-checkout.php file, and then navigate to wp-content -> themes -> yourtheme -> woocommerce -> checkout and paste the copied form-checkout.php file there (the copied file will now override the plugin form-checkout.php template file.). After that, open the copied file and add the text you need on each step(it’s easy to identify a step because there are cases for each step: case “order”, case ‘billing_shipping’, case ‘order_payment’. Also, above each step is a comment with the the step name like ”//Order & payment step”). Please don’t forget to turn on the “Overwrite WooCommerce form-checkout.php plugin template” option located in plugin / general settings.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

PS: We received only positive feedback because we kept the tabs inline on mobiles (the progress bar layout shows the step name on mobiles too and in a future update we will find a way to show the step name on all layouts).

Have a good day,
ARG Team
