Hi
I have bought this and i works fine. I have a question though.
If I want to change picture in the middle of it running? It could be great if it could reload picture from the webserver if I changed it. I have looked into the JS and it seems like you loop the img’s and put them into canvas when it loads ?
Thanks for purchasing!
There are technical complications in implementing such a feature but I will look into it.
Hi, I just purchased this item and realized what I really need is the wordpress plugin. Is there a discount if you’re already bought the jquery plugin? Thanks!
Thanks for purchasing!
I am sorry to say that there is no discount option in Codecanyon. If you want the WP plugin version then you have to pay the full price. But still you can contact Support and explain your situation and see if they can offer a solution.
Hi Cosmo. Got it.
Great, thanks for purchasing!
the admin system is working fine for me. I can add and see images. However the preview and any page/post I add my short code to, the images do not appear. When I inspect element I can see that the path shows null
.../wp-content/ccslider-upload/null
What would be causing this? How do I fix it?
I see that you have not purchased this item. So how are you using it?
Hi, can someone visit the following site and let me know what im doing wrong, i love the design of this slider but im having a issue setting it up. Here is the link http://www.miebs.org/page24.html I got it to display the slider, but the controls dont show. Can anyone be so kind to give a step by step explanation how to simple set it up? What goes on the head and body of a page. I already uploaded the necessary files to my webserver.
Thanks
I have replied to your email.
The thumbnail image div is not cropped and increases the width of my layout. I can make my own fix, but I was hoping you might have one. Thanks.
I did not quite understand your problem since the thumbnails do not have any divs. Please clarify, preferably with a link to your page.
Also did you purchase CCSlider? I do not see any purchased tag against your comment.
How can I get rid of the effect where the box slightly moves to the left and then right all the way to the next slide? Great Job Thanks!!
I don’t really understand what effect you are talking about. Please contact me through my profile page with more details about this effect.
Im noticing performance issues in Safari.. sometimes it freezes my browser and can get glitchy. Im on a macbook pro thats got some power to it, so I know its not the hardware. Im on the lastest version of Safari 5.1.1. I havent implemented it yet, just ran the demo and I cant believe that the 3d animation runs on FF! Great Job Man!
Thanks for purchasing!
Are you running Lion in your Mac? I have received reports that when Safari in Lion runs CCSlider then the browser sometimes freezes. Unfortunately I can do nothing about it since it is a browser bug and in fact Safari in Lion has quite a few Canvas bugs. I hope the Safari Dev Team fixes it soon. There are no such problems in Snow Leopard. You can update to version 5.1.2 and see if the problem is fixed.
Hey Cosmo, I love the script but I am having an issue with it. I have large image and would like to change the dimension size of the images. Would you be ale to help me out?
Thanks for purchasing!
Do you want to set the image dimensions for the 3d mode? You can do so by providing appropriate values for the imageWidth and imageHeight parameters. For details see the documentation.
For the 2d mode the images are not resized by the plugin. If you want a different size then you will have to do so yourself by using an image editor of your choice.
If you want to discuss further then contact me through my profile page.
I am having problems getting the images to show. i have followed the instructions to the point in the read me and nothing.
what is it that am doing wrong?
I have replied to your email.
Great Plugin! There’s a glitch with Safari 5.1.1 (Mac). On load, the 3rd panel is the same as the first. When it starts to rotate, it’s fine. It happens on the download and on the code canyon demo as well.
Thanks for purchasing!
I am aware of this bug and sadly this is a bug in the HTML5 Canvas implementation of Webkit. It is a strange one since it only happens on the first slide when the CCSlider first loads. I have a tried a lot to remove this bug but I have realized that this is not due to a fault in my code and it can only be fixed when Webkit fixes this and hopefully they will do so quickly in the near future.
But if I do happen to come across a fix then I will definitely update CCSlider, so keep an eye on the item page from time time for any updates.
Hi,
Does the script work only with images or I can use any content, like divs with just HTML inside?
You can only use images since HTML5 Canvas only supports images and Canvas is used for the 3d effects. But you can have any html content for the captions.
Sorry but i am seeing that i have version 3.2.1, in wordpress ; Help
PlatformPro 1.5.3 is available. What’s new. Please configure auto-updates under misc-settings.
WordPress Updates
Last checked on 18/10/2011 at 6:40 pm. Check Again You have the latest version of WordPress.
You have the latest version of WordPress. You do not need to update. However, if you want to re-install version 3.2.1, you can do so automatically or download the package and re-install manually:
So, waht can i do ?
Even though you have the latest version of Wordpress, your jquery version is very old. Upgrade that to the latest version. Maybe some WP plugin is forcing you to load the older version of jquery instead of 1.6. Uninstall all plugins one by one to find which is the culprit.
One more question : which effect did you add to your demo pluging ? its like going some up&down. Thks
The slider is not working because you are using jquery version 1.3.2. The slider requires version 1.4+. The latest stable version of jquery is 1.6.4, you should use that. Even the latest version of Wordpress (3.2) ships with jquery 1.6.
The effect that you are talking about us ‘cubeUp’. There is also an opposite effect called ‘cubeDown’.
Hi ! i bought the program , installed and prepared my slider options , but ..it doesnt move! What i am doing wrong? thanks : http://www.acrees.es/edulcorantes
Can the border on the 2d effect be set to 0pixels i.e. no border on image ?
Thanks for purchasing!
When you say border I assume that you mean the white border on the images in 2d mode as seen in the demo. If that is so, then it can of course be removed. I just decorated it for the demo. You can style the border or remove it by just editing the css according to your needs.
Sure….the link is www.legacywebdesignnaples.com
It doesn’t fall back gracefully in Internet Explorer. It is combining a fade and a slide, but I have it set to “fade”.

I figured out the problem above … I wasn’t calling the ccslider after the (window).load function. That cleared that up.
However, there’s another issue I have if I choose to use a 2d effect for everyone.
It works fine with any 3d effectType.
But if I set it to 2d effectType (such as verticalSlide), the ccslider plays the default 3d effect of Cube Up and the picture is the width/height of the example (600×300).

Thanks for purchasing!
Could you send me a link to your page so that I can investigate the problem. You can also contact me through my profile page.
I have implemented the code for the slider into my page. The slideshow appears, and it works …. however, it is not displaying the image in the proper proportions.
My images are 593 wide and 400 tall, and I’ve put those dimensions into the as well as the CSS for the slider (adding the 100px you recommended for 3d)
Also, while I have inserted the entire section (with all the default params included), I don’t think it’s passing them to the javascript. I say this because I have played around with settings….for instance, changing 3 slices to 5, changing animSpeed to very high numbers like 22,000….changing the easing….....and NONE of these changes alter the animation one bit when I preview the page.
Any obvious errors I’m making, from what I’ve told you?
