hello nice app Can i add my own admob account. Can i also add inapp purchases to remove ads
Hi,
1. you must add your admob banner udint ID in order to get revenue from admob banners.
2. If you plan to add IAP to this app, you must first buy it under an Extended License.
Cheers!
Would it be possible to build a portal on wordpress which let a user once registered add monsters with API pushing data into BACK4App ?
You would need an experienced php developer, we’re not experienced with Parse php SDK. Cheers!

Parse.com will not be available next year (2017). Any other option to used as backend?
The hosting service provided by parse.com will shutdown, not the Parse SDK, so that’s why we’ve hosted it on back4app.com, it will keep working, check that website out. Cheers!

Do you have a contact for getting new monsters drawn?
Hi, do you mean if we know some designers who can design new monsters for you?
Correct – if i wanted to get some more drawn etc?
No, sorry, we don’t know any designer, try to search for them on Envato Studio: https://studio.envato.com/?utm_source=marketplaces&utm_medium=codecanyon&utm_campaign=internal%20navigation&utm_content=headernav

We’ve finished our version of the app with a backend that enables placement of Monsters www.monsuta.fitness
cool, where is the App Store link of your app?
You can see it here – https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/monsuta-fitness/id1140297768?ls=1&mt=8 – we modified the app to only be used by users who have access to the backend for placement. You also need to complete exercises to catch the monsters – This shows it at www.monsuta.fitness/apptour
Great job, good luck with downloads!
Out of curiosity, have you built the admin panel to place monsters in the app using the Parse Php SDK?
NOTE: we’ll fix a smaill bug in the TopTen.swift file tomorrow and an update of this app will be available on Tuesday.
Guys, Awesome Work ! Just Purchase it. Besides Back4App who else supports Parse
thanks!
Yes there are other providers but they don’t offer a free basic hosting for Parse SDK and they have a more complex configuration than back4app. Cheers!

Hey guys, Any chance the monsters could be animated? Could I put animated gifs that would show over the map layer?
it’s a bit complex, you should animate images into an array with UIImageView animation, no gifs.
Hey guys, any particular reason the app crashes when clicking the account and top 10 tabs?
are you using your own Parse app or our demo one?
lol I figured that, I’m using yours I just wanted to see the app in action so I didn’t create my own Parse app as of yet. I’ll do that and get back to you guys!
yep, that’s because we weekly clear our database so it’s always better to use your own one.
Damn, you can go ahead with another Pokemon Go Mate
no, otherwise the guys from Pokemon would ask us to remove the template, we had to remove a template a few months ago that was very similar to an app on the App Store, so we can’t make clones of other popular apps
Lol I’m buying this today!!! A friend of mine just ran across a fantastic idea using the concept from Pokemon go. My only question is as always can you guys add Google admob to my project when I purchase? I will pay extra if needed. Thanks guys and I will purchase as soon as I get an answer regarding adding admob!
this app has already AdMob banner, check the app description
Lol I must’ve missed that in all of my excitement! I’m purchasing this very soon, gotta add some funds to my paypal but look out for me! I’ll be headed back to my New York office and will reach back out to you guys soon
thanks, cheers!

Which map do you use for this game? Can you provide a script to generate random a bunch of Monsters?
native iOS MapView.
No code to generate random monsters, sorry, they wouldn’t get stored in the Parse Dashboard.
Cheers!
Hello, so I can insert the graphic of personalized monsters, the map has geographic location and users can go hunting pokemongo style? I have to put a lot number for each monster to catch? Monsters can be unlimited or there is a maximum number of monsters d place. Indicate the app for the destination country, eg Italy, I can at least use this scrpt for the whole country Italy ?. It will be necessary to translate the language files there is no way? Great job and good sales
Android? ioS?
iOS only.
You must insert monsters images into the xcode project, name them as you wish and use those names to place them into the Parse Dashboard, along with its gps coordinates and points, of your choice. No limit for inserting monsters in the database.
You may insert a bunch of Monsters in a country only, yes, and publish the app to that country’s App Store, naming your app like “Catch the Monsters in Italy!”.
If you want to translate the app you will have to change the english words into buttons, labels and the strings in the code.
Cheers!

Is it easy to reskin? Meaning instead of monsters changing it to some other characters
yes, you’ll just have to replaces images into Assets.xcassets folder with your own ones and change their names.
Documentation says do not rename them. Cna I still do this?
it says insert the same names you’ve set into MONSTERS folder in your Parse dashboard, but you can rename them as you wish, of course. For instance, if you rename “Goofy” image into “Bite”, you have to insert “Bite” in the name column in your Dashboard.
So When I try to launch the app (no changes) on the simulator there are 11 errors that do not allow for launching. Monstaerscatched.swift, nearby.swift and monstersmap.swift. Everything is expected expression or missing argument for paramter
that’s because you’re not using Xcode 7.3, you must use that version
one last question , what updates will be include , i mean what do you want to add ?
We have no plans about new features at the present.
Great work
GL
thanks!
Why would you use Parse when they are closing down? the backend will be useless in 6 months time
only the hosting service offered by Facebook will shit down, not the Parse SDK, that’s why we hosted on http://back4app.com, check it out

Great work GLWS
thanks!
Hey , how i can add Monsters and locations , i’m really interested
Hi, as the app description says, you can simply add Monsters names and coordinates into your Parse Dashboard, it’s kinda working with an Excel file
The User Guide included int he package explains everything.
Cheers!
could you share a screen from that ?
and could i upload unlimited of monsters ?
you can insert unlimited monsters in your Parse Dashboard, yes.
