I added this plugin to an existing site where there were users already subscribed. I have added them as members, but now they are all marked in their Email Status as Unverified. I don’t need them to verify their email because they were already current members. How do I change their email verify status? Thank you!

There is just a status and once the Emails weren’t verified it can not say anything else than: “unverified”. Only using the Double Email Verification option into Register section you can verify an email address.

I have Custom fields set up but to only show on Profile page for a given Level, not on the Registration form. In other words, user registers with a predefined level (lid in query string) with email and password. Then user should be able to complete his profile and fill in the additional custom fields set for his level. How come the custom fields don’t show up on the profile page?

First, you need to set that Custom Field to show up into Account Page. Second, any User can have multiple Levels assigned. So, the custom fields are filtered by Level only into the Register section, where any user may have up to 1 Level assigned.

Right. This is confusing. I did set the Custom Fields to show up into the Account Page. They are NOT showing up. So you’re saying my approach will not work?? For the Custom Fields to appear in the Account Page, they must be on the Registration page??

Each custom field may be set to show up on Register, Account Page, Admin or all together. There is no restriction on that. Only the Level filter is restricted on Register form based on explication related above.

Understood. Here is exactly what I did and it is still not working.
1. Added Custom Field named contributor_fb to save Facebook URL: slug: contributor_fb field type: text to show up for: Contributor Level Label: Facebook Here is a screenshot: http://postimg.org/image/u69y73q2j/ SAVE
2. Check “On Admin” and “on Account Page”. SAVE. Here is a screenshot of Manage Custom Fields screen: http://postimg.org/image/3p6h541ff
3. User registers using as Contributor with Username, E-mail, Password only. The Custom Field doesn’t show up on Account Page at all. Trying to update the settings of the Custom Field does not change anything. I tried deleting and adding them back, it still doesn’t show. What am I doing wrong?

The Fields are filtered by Level only during Register process ‘cause only on this case the user have only one Level. Otherwise, the User may have multiple Level assigned on the same time.

Hello, I have the following problem. I use qTranslate, now I have German and English languages as Defined. Are for me the two decisive languages. I take no WPML.
Now, if I have created a registration page, then I will always be shown the this is only available in the American version.
How can I do that with this plugin regulate I get displayed in German and optional English the pages.
With pages just giving the German and English title and text after selection.
But here I do not find this selection.
Is there already a German translation of this plugin?
If yes, where?

Sorry, my explanation to my problem was wrong. So I use qTranslate. Create the page for English and German. But the templates for such registration is displayed only in English. I can not the fields into German Translate.
Where can I do that?

Sorry, this with the .po file so the language problem took care of itself. With me was for some reason the default.po broken. After unpacking again, everything was there. So there is no problem with it. The only problem that remains is the PayPal does not work in the sandbox and 2checkout.

(5) The submitted form must be emailed to one or more addresses. (6) The store data must be in mySQL DB where I can access it. (7) Your plugin must be mobile responsive.

In answer #5, you said only the user is notified by email. However, what we have is a community club and need to know the user profile changes constantly for record keeping. Therefore, when the user updates his profile, we also have to be notified. Can we add our admin email address so that we too will be notified? Relating to answer 2, we have children and old folks who are members and do not have email addresses so we have a general email delivery. Can the login for such persons be done via username and password only and leave out the email on the login form.

We have on our development list to add multiple new Notifications during the next updates. That one is one of them. Unfortunately, WP system requests an email address for each User on register stage. So, it can not be avoided.

I purchased the plugin a few days ago. I want to be able to use the members avatar in my menu to link them to their user page. I saw that you replied to another user stating:
“Right now, it can be set only on Account page but we’ll release the user shortcode for that to add avatar anywhere into the website.”
Has this shortcode been released? Or is there any other way to accomplish this? Thanks.

For now the avatar is the only user option that is not available via Shortcode. We planning to add more shortcodes and options during the next further releases and for sure the Profile Avatar will be one of them.

Not sure if my request is going through properly though the Item Support channel. Had originally set up the plugin with PayPal activated, but now we need to change it to Bank Transfer since we’re going to handle payments through a separate Elavon gateway via WooCommerce, and then manually update UMP registrations. However, every time I try to change the payment option to Bank Transfer it leaves it as Inactive, and I keep seeing the error message “No Payment Gateway was activated or properly set!” Also, the KnowledgeBase says I will see the following: “There is a special text box where you can provide all the necessary details for your customer to be able to operate a bank transfer (Like bank details, payment details, etc).” That box never appears. Deactivated all other plugins to see if there was a conflict but the error still happens. Seen this happen before? I’m tempted to uninstall everything and start over.

The problem turned out to not be setting up a bank form, even if it wasn’t going to be used, which it won’t in this case. That could probably be better documented.

Ultimate Membership Pro provides Subscriptions/Levels for restricted content. It can not manage by default specific restrictions based on other scripts (such uploading properties). It needs some custom work and all depends of that uploading script.

I’ve tried to add the above message in the ‘notifications’, ‘reset password request’ as wel as: changed password inform, but it doesn’t seem to matter.
Could you please help me out so that users will get their username as well as their password in 1 email?

Pre sale question: I am building a site where we will be renting clothes and per booking services. So we would have a basic membership (which will be charged annually) and then also a Premium membership which charges monthly, can I do them both using this plug in? how would recurrent payments work?
I also don’t want to lock just pages but I want to allow my customer to view my products and add a lock to joint for membership only when they are ready to rent the product. Does this plug do this? Thanks for your interest and question.
Into UMP you can set unlimited Levels/Subscriptions with different prices and recurring periods. There is no limits on that. Each user can have assigned multiple Levels on the same time.
You may wanna lock only specific URL from your WP or part of the content into a specific page using the Inside Locker. So, your approach may be accomplished if you set exactly where and what you wanna lock.

I am looking at purchasing your plugin but was curious about some things. Will I be able to create different membership types? Example my one site is for tattoo shops, artist, and models. Will i be able to create different registration forms based on member type, and setup profiles based on member type? Also would it be possible to have separate ways of searching for member types? So if a user is looking for a tattoo artist in West Palm Beach FL that registers as they specialize in portrait tattoos.. Will I be able to add to the registration for artist to choose from multiple check boxes what styles they do and use that for the search?

Thanks for your interest and question.
There can be created unlimited Levels/Subscriptions and even if there is one main Register Form, each field can be filtered by selected Level. So, a different register form will show up. Also, into Register Form, you can add any custom field you wanna it, different types available, including checkboxes. The profiles are private. Still there is a “Members List” module to show up list of public profiles filtered by Levels but there is no search option inside the List.
