I faced an issue with this plugin when tried to activate it on our production site. our wordpress website is working on Pantheon with 3 environments of Dev, Test and Live. Plug works great on Dev mode which has access to file manipulation and testing. But when trying to activate the plugin on Live mode I get this error. Please advice.** Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Warning: file_get_contents(/code/wp-content/plugins/ez-form-calculator-premium/db.sql): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /code/wp-content/plugins/ez-form-calculator-premium/ezfc-register.php on line 8 Error opening file.
To avoid this issue I need a work-around to not write in plugin folder itself for db.sql and register.php. All should happen in uploads folder instead. Please let me know.
Hello, you could try to move the file db.sql to the upload folder and rewrite the file ezfc-register.php so the file will be loaded from the upload folder. If you need any help, please send a message to support@ezplugins.de

Hello, please apologise the late reply. Your custom CSS rules hide the fixed price in the form container. Please remove the overflow-x/y rules so the price will be shown again.
This plugin looks very interesting, I would like to know who can I use it in this way:
I want to embed a calculation ez form into each product of my woocommerce website to calculate and show the price for leasing option. To make it happen I need to get the product price hook form the current page and then put the value for further calculation of ez form.

Hello, the best way to achieve this is to use the Hidden element at the top of the form and enable the option “Use_woocommerce_price”. This element will try to get the price of the product where the form is attached to.

Hello, you can set the option “Show_in_email” to “Show if not empty” or “Show if not empty and not 0” so the element will only show up when the radio element was checked.

Hello, the icons can’t be changed in the current version (though you can find and replace the icons manually in the files class.ezfc_frontend.php as well as frontend.js and frontend.min.js).

Hello, I am trying to setup my calculator so that when a submission is made, it sends an email to me FROM the persons email. So when I response though email, my response goes to the person who submitted the form. How do I do this? Is there a token where I can grab the email address that the person fills out and populate in the “emails sender” section? Please let me know. Thanks

I have a costumer that today has a json calculator from the stone age (2006). The customer wants to move to wordpress but this calculator keeps on being a challenge due to it’s old code and budget issues since the json calculator was a specially designed app from the ground.
What the calculator does is:
- User chooses a seller from a drop-down
- According to the seller chosen, other options will be loaded under that drop-down
- Those options are product images with name and a link to the seller (we can pretend that we are talking about tiles)
- User will then fill in the length of the area on the building that the user is working on
- User will then fill in the width of the area on the building that the user is working on
- User fills in the angle of inclination of the floor from a drop-down menu
- User has to fill in one last field with the pressure that will be applied on the floor. This pressure is chosen from a drop-down. Each value on that drop-down has a name. Each name corresponds to a numeric value
- User clicks on the “calculate” button and an image is generated with the area of that floor, plus the place where all the products would be placed
- A list with several parameters such as number of products to use, number of rows, number of products per row, friction, etc will be displayed
- The page/calculation has to be printable or downloadable as a PDF

A similar calculator can be created with the plugin though the image generation part would need to be coded additionally.

Hello, yes, this is possible with the plugin. Both you and the user who filled out the form can receive the submitted form via email. Uploaded files can be attached as well.
Pre-Purchase Questions
Is it possible to calculate fixed price products (one time fees) AND monthly recurring subscription fees at the same time?
For Example,
A FORMULA LIKE… Total =((fixed price product amount * 5% Down Payment) + 1st months subscription amount – any discounts), and then show the remaining balance broken into different payment plans (see below)
AS WELL AS… on the same form, have an option for the visitor to email the calculation/quote to themselves…

If a person orders under $5000.00 worth of products & services, then they can only choose from 12 & 24 month repayment plans, pre-calcuated (based on their selections) on the quote form to show the total remaining balance and what their monthly payments would be under these plans, and then if over say $10,000.00 worth of products & services, then they can also choose from 36 & 48 month repayment plans, pre-calcuated (based on their selections) on the quote form to show the total remaining balance and what their monthly payments would be under these plans? And then pick one of these plans and pay their first payment?

The calculation can be sent to the customer automatically.
Payment based on selected options is possible, too.

Regular price per unit is 25
If you buy 10-50 units the price per unit is 24 If you buy 51-100 units the price per unit is 23
In addition to the following formula I want to make another amount discount
If you buy a total amount of 1000-2000 on the site you get another 10% discount If you buy a total amount of 2001-3000 on the site you get another 15% discount

I found a bug with the new PDF function, The PDF file that is send to my email doesn’t show any enters that I’ve typed in the PDF options. Probably just a minor bug but it would be nice to see it fixed.
Hello, this is possibly caused by the theme or another plugin. You can try to set the option “content filter ” in the global settings to “the_content” without the quotation marks and try again.
Hello I just wrote a support mail, but may be some one else can help me. if I group some elements in the backend I get the problem, if I leave the form saved in the backend and return all almost all elements shown dropped out of the group and I have to rearange it but after the next time if I will cahnge some, I have the same problem. Hello, I have this Version installed ez Form Calculator v2.9.4.7 (shown at the plugin in wordpress), I did all updates. I need this very urgent to be running.
So just installed it on a new woprdpress installation to go sure, that there is no problem with the update and still have to problem that some elemts dropp out and some stays in. Mqybe that will help it starts with the problem if I have about mor than 12 elements grouped. the about 12 stays in and all what comes after the 12 drop out. Somtimes the problem starts with 10 after 10 elemts grouped. So I don’t know what the problem is.
Ok forget about the post before. Just startet a complete new form and for testing and I took a group and 8 dropdowns in it. saved it, reloaded and all elements where dropped out. So there must be a very new bug caused by something else. Maybe it was solved before, but it is back and it need to be fixed.
That is strange. OK If I take one of your templates, the group is working. As soon as put a new element to it, all group ed elemnts are dropped out. Just because of the new element. So you did the templates probably with a other version. So this elemts cauing no problem, bvut with new elemnts cause a failure so the group is not perfect working. Somtimes some elemnts stays in, if I have mor group, but if I just have one, all elements drop out.
Hello, there were indeed some rare occassions where the group function doesn’t work well. The next update will take care of these issues and everything should work well. ETA for this update is 2-3 days. I would be glad if you could drop a short line here if the next update solves these issues.

Hello, first it was working but suddenly it all starts again to drop the elements out of the group. May be you should delete the group thing for a while. I just tested after the update. It was working for some groups. But now I startet a new form and after some groups in a form I have the same problems again. Please try to solve the problem as soon as possible. Thank you
Hello, did you clear the browser cache? Perhaps your browser still uses an older cached version of the plugin. Haven’t had any issue with groups lately.
