Pre sale question: I am building a site where we will be renting clothes and per booking services. So we would have a basic membership (which will be charged annually) and then also a Premium membership which charges monthly, can I do them both using this plug in? how would recurrent payments work?
I also don’t want to lock just pages but I want to allow my customer to view my products and add a lock to joint for membership only when they are ready to rent the product. Does this plug do this? Im working with woo commerce. would this plug in integrate well with woo commerce themes. Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks for your interest and question.
Into UMP you can set unlimited Levels/Subscriptions with different prices and recurring periods. There is no limits on that. Each user can have assigned multiple Levels on the same time.
You may wanna lock only specific URL from your WP or part of the content into a specific page using the Inside Locker. So, your approach may be accomplished if you set exactly where and what you wanna lock.

I am looking at purchasing your plugin but was curious about some things. Will I be able to create different membership types? Example my one site is for tattoo shops, artist, and models. Will i be able to create different registration forms based on member type, and setup profiles based on member type? Also would it be possible to have separate ways of searching for member types? So if a user is looking for a tattoo artist in West Palm Beach FL that registers as they specialize in portrait tattoos.. Will I be able to add to the registration for artist to choose from multiple check boxes what styles they do and use that for the search?

Thanks for your interest and question.
There can be created unlimited Levels/Subscriptions and even if there is one main Register Form, each field can be filtered by selected Level. So, a different register form will show up. Also, into Register Form, you can add any custom field you wanna it, different types available, including checkboxes. The profiles are private. Still there is a “Members List” module to show up list of public profiles filtered by Levels but there is no search option inside the List.

Presale question.
Is it possible to have different registration forms for different plans? IE require “company name” for one type of plan, but don’t ask for it on another plan?
Additionally as part of that question can you require different plans to go through an approval process? IE I want “Free Plan” users to automatically get an account but I want “Premium” members to have to be approved by an admin always (Application process basically).
And the third part to that process, Can I have different public fields on a profile for different members, IE on “Premium” Company name shows up and is required on the public profile, but is not required and never shows up on say the “Free” public profile.
And then one last question as far as woocommmerce integration, Where do things like the “My Orders” page and what not show up for a member?

Yes, even if there is one main Register form, each field can be set to show up or not for specific Level/Plan selected.
Also, each Level/Plan can set a specific WP Role where the “Pending” one is available. With that WP Role, the user needs to be manually approved by Admin. So, your desired approach can be accomplished.
UMP show up inside the Account Page all the transactions made inside UMP but not other orders from 3rd party scripts.

Is it possible using this plugin to offer a free subscription level where the customer can offer an optional donation via Stripe during registration? (i.e. payment is not required, but can be made during registration if the user wishes) This would be useful for the site I’m developing where the company is a nonprofit and wants to offer subscription for free, but wants the user to be able to make an optional contribution to the organization as part of registering.

There can be set free Level/Subscription but there is no way to optional donate. Still, you can set different Levels from Free to predefined donate prices (10,50,100). Those additional Levels can be bought/donate even later, after the user has registered and logged.

Hello, several questions.
1.) Is it possible to make each user several payment areas?
2.) Suppose someone pays via PayPal, when he returns from PayPal with the response OK, then I can for example in the database add the time in a timestamp? That would be when someone buys a thing to such Premium 2x. The half a year, buy 2x increase to 1 year. Or he buys after after running fourth year. So he then has three quarters of the year
3.) Can I unlock download areas it? Example I have a folder files, among which are 2 folders Membership1 and Membership2 Buys the User SHIP1 then must he all in Membership1 is downloading subfolders If he buys Ship2 then must he all that is in Membership2 downloading but not what is in Membership1.
4.) The user must also be able to sign up free, what’s all here, I only want them to without which I must offer an example for Basic Free the, he should simply send can. Is that even without the selection of a member area?
That would only be once everything reminds me of what a safe yet what I then ask later

Hi,
1) What it means several payment areas? There is possible to set multi-payment section and each user to pick how to pay, if this what you looking for.
2) Each payment is stored into DB as a separate Transaction. All transactions are listed for Admin and for User itself.
3) UMP let you restrict/unlock different Pages or part of the Content. If you can manage your downloads area to restrict access on a content section (such a download button) based on specific Levels, you can accomplish your desire. It can be restricted mostly anything that is passing through WP environment. Still, it can not b restricted specific folders or files around the server storage.
4) The user can use a “Free” Level for beginning with a limited access and to get a “Paid” Level later for more access.

Hi, 1) I did not mean different Payments. Rather, various levels. For example: User Level Buy Gold He still buys Level Silver Both Level increase its premium time. If at the time he bought Premium counted? So when he buys gold he gets one year premium. He buys silver to what is half a year. Now he must indeed have 1 and a half year premium.
2.) Here I did not mean the transaction is stored in the DB by the system. That is clear. But once I adopted have an area of ??the User promises to be a product. The user buys this. Now I would like is this product when returning after payment of Payment So for example PayPal, also for me in the dashboard as paid by Marks. So that I can ship this.
I do not want to see any USers until payment if he bought and what he bought, but I would like to me a flag is set in the database, so that I get an automatic message for me which user which bought and this marked as Paid can be and I then ship and another flag set it was shipped.

4.) I just want to know whether the user can perform a normal registration and may later decide several different packages. So not even in registering a decision on a package meeting. but only after a week, for example.
So the user should not start with a Free Access level. but with a normal WordPress Account

Hi,
The Levels are works separated, not complementary. So, each Level may provides different access and different periods with a different price. There is not only one access with complementary period.

4) The user is registered as a WP User all the time. Still, is recommended to be registered via UMP to cover all the options. Once is logged, each user will be able to buy Levels/Subscriptions from his Account Page.

Ok, Sounds great. One more last question? I am interested in the German translation so what happens when I buy the plugin. Does it automatically translate into the language of my choice? In other words, what exactly do I have to do to ensure I get the basic translation?

The UMP plugin is fully translation ready. That means, it can be translated into any language based on .po files, like any wp plugin or theme. You need to create your own language file where you have to manually translate each word into your language. It can not be done an automatically translation.

Dear Author, I am planning to buy UMP. however, i am still thinking how to automatically assign members to corresponded email list.
What i want to do is that i will create email lists for each membership level. Whoever subscribe to membership A then the person will be added to the list A as well. If person subscribe to membership B then the person also will be added to list B. This way i will remind them that their subscription period will end up soon or i will encourage them to upgrade their levels these that. I will use MyMail newsletter plugin.
Please make this possible for us. Is this possible in current version. Or do you have plan to do it in the future?

Right now, there is already a Notification template that will notify the users when a Level is going to expire or/and has already expired.
Still, you can export the Users list and filter them based on Levels if you wanna sent them particular newsletters.

pre-purchase question regarding subscription renewal. As payment are charged automatically when renew is due at paypal, will it update the user’s profile to have a new subscription expire date automatically, or user has to do something in the process to extend his subscription expire date? in a word, is the renewal process completely automated? Does it use IPN? Can I use notify_url in the script? Please reply ASAP.

All new subscribers email can be stored into one of the Email Platform, including MyMail also. Still, only the email is stored and are not split by Levels ‘cause any user can have assigned multiple Levels on the same time.
