No, i do want to create membership for certain content, guess you can establish a free membership for certain content, but they won’t be invited to share the content, right?

You can basically set a restricted content that is available only for Registered users and inside of that content to set a Social Locker to release it. You will provide that content only on registered users that have shared the page.

The content is restricted based on Levels, not users. Still, into Overview tab from Account Page, you can assign a specific content page for each User.

User registers to the site and stays logged-in. then he goes to a “product” page and click “claim product” button. the result is that the user redirected to a thank-you page, and a confirmation mail been sent to his email address with instrcutions. this is done automatically. Is that supported?

Pre-sale question. Can the plugin search text-area’s when searching keywords for the profiles. I noticed it can’t on the free version and had to change this to text-line (or something), but it would look better if it could search text area. The reason being a user can pull out some keywords to help identify which user could help them.

UMP may work very well besides other membership script if that one is properly built. Still subscriptions made into UMP needs to be managed from UMP side.

So for example, let’s say I’m logged in via the other plugin for free and I want to upgrade my profile by going for the paid section(Restricted Area via UMP) which has the UMP, do I need to sign in again or can I just proceed from my other plugin since I already have an account to the UMP plugin before making payment for a subscription without having to create a new profile via UMP plugin?

Pre-Sale Question: We are looking for a solution which will accomplish 2 things.
We want to offer freemium content (provide first paragraph or two as a teaser and then sell the rest of the article for a micropayment – say $1), we also want to sell memberships which would provide access to a protected members area with multiple pages of content.
I know the second request is possible with your plugin, but what about the first? Ideally for the freemium content, if they paid for the full content of the page or post, they’d be presented with an option to get a paid monthly or yearly membership to gain access to the full members area.
We’ve looked into other options to just offer freemium content without a members area, and we were thinking we’d include an internal ad for our paid monthly membership after they paid for the one article.
Ideally we’d have 1 plugin managing freemium content and paid monthly memberships. I realize there is a content locker with Ultimate Membership Pro, but it looks like it only protects content based on a membership level. If you are not a paid member you can’t see it, but if you are paid you can. The thing is we don’t necessarily want to force someone to buy a monthly membership to access the freemium page/post, it’d be great if they did, but we’d like to do micro-conversions on the site with the hopes of them eventually converting to a monthly paid member.
Is any of this possible?

You can set a “Trial” price that will take in action only for the first charge of recurring payment. Coupons, can be set to affect only the first charge or the entire recurring price, depends of your settings.
Users can buy multiple Levels on the same time. So, they can start with a small one and buy the full one later.
Yes, there is a Custom CSS option that provide you a way to change the showcases design based on your needs. Still, the structure of the page can not be managed from CSS side.

But the plugin will keep only one Level at a time or two Levels running together? ‘Cause I need to offer a upgrade option where one Level replace the other and the monthly price only changes in the next month without any extra payments at the moment of the change.
Anyway… I bought the plugin and I’m very happy so far… the only thing it need it’s a more advanced control over Levels, upgrades, downgrades and stuff like that to fine tune the membership system for each type of site.

Having multiple Levels on the same time provides multiple advantages than anot upgrade/downgrade workflow because can accomplish mostly any scenario and avoid some payments limits.
Still, we’ve implemented a downgrade option and we may add multiple options on this way.

In my case I want to offer design services in a membership system with three plans: “Plan A” with one-time fee and “Plan B” and “Plan C” with Trial Fee + Monthly Price.
In that scenario I can remove the “Trial Fee” from “Plans B and C” and make the member start with “Plan A” only (what can work like the “Setup Fee”, so the member don’t need to pay the “Trial Fee” multiple times), so if he needs more functionalities he just need to subscribe to other plans and at the end of the month pay all subscriptions combined… right?
Interesting… I’ll need to change some things about my original idea but this will allow me to offer more services than I expected.

Personal payment data such as credit card details are not stored into customer website for safety reasons. So only the payment gateway have those details but only the bank should inform the user about his credit card status.
