Hi, is It possible to use username as e-mail and hide the e-mail option on the form? like google, and other sites use the e-mail as login.

Hi,

On a WP environment, username and email are mandatory and it can not be avoided.

Thanks,
Indeed Team

How can i change the Register Form in to German ?? Username etc. There are no Edit Buttons in Shocases – Register Form – Custom Fields.

Hi,

Yes, you can accomplish that. Those are native WP fields and it can not be managed like custom fields but for still there is a solution. Have a look over the Knowledge Base articles: http://help.wpindeed.com/ultimate-membership-pro/knowledge-base/native-fields-can-not-be-edited-i-wanna-change-the-label/

Pre-sale Q. Hi, I want to use your plugin to sell subscriptions to a newspaper – a real one, printed :) I want to have the postal address of my subscribers and make the subscriptions recurrent. Do you thins is possible?

Second Q. I’ll have coupons. Can a subscribers have the same discount (let’s say 15% off for a yearly subscription) every year when he renew the subscription?

Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for your interest and questions.

Yes, you can set any kind of custom fields into register form and request for recurring payments (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).

Also, Coupons discounts can be set to offer another price only for first recurring payment or for entire recurrence period.

Thanks, Indeed Team

Hello! I’m thinking buy your plugin to use to my site! I have wordpress site for photography and i ‘m looking for a plugin to create a client area! This client area it would be a login form which the client-user cant login and redirect then to specific page url. Can be these with your plugin?Your information it would be usefull for me thanks in advance!

Hi,

Yes, you can accomplish this kind of approach, by setting a custom page redirect after Login action.

Thanks, Indeed Team

We would like a plug-in like yours that blurs the content with a box prompting an action on top. Opposed to hiding the content completely and getting a message that the content is blocked until registered or sign in. Does you plugin blur the content or have an option to do so? If not is this in the works or is there an ability to add on to it to do so?

Hi,

This kind of workflow is available into our Social Locker plugin ‘cause there is only about paying with shares. Still, this kind of restriction is not safe and when is about a Membership system where users needs to pay with real money for that content is strongly not recommended.

Thanks, Indeed Team

hello / i do persian lang for your membership and for theme make it to RTL , it’s very nice and completely if you want please tell me here to send document

Considering buying this plugin. Will it work for locking pay video content for members? Thank you

Hi,

If you can lock your Videos with a shortcode, yes, you can manage something like that.

I’ve been scanning through some comments and I have a question. Do people have to register before they can buy?

Hi,

Many of other well known Membership system works on the same scenario. You have your tests on our demo Website to see how it works: http://demoiump.wpindeed.com/

Thanks, Indeed Team

Okay, yeah, that’s not so bad. Any plans to add Clickbank as a payment gateway? It’s handy for those who don’t want to deal with tax issues as Clickbank are responsible for all that.

Hi,

We’re planning to add any Payment gateway that’s provides a proper automatically recurring payment and a IPN connection. If ClickBank will be able to provide this kind of workflow, will be added, for sure.

’’If into your WordPress a MegaMenu script is used, that section may not show up and you have to use the second way.’’ What is second way? Thanks for answer

Hi,

As is listed into Knowledge Base there two ways to accomplish that: http://help.wpindeed.com/ultimate-membership-pro/knowledge-base/how-to-restrict-menu-links/

Thanks,

I just stepped into your plugin and so far, I like all the functions and I believe it’s something I can work with on my next project.

I have a couple of questions though : 1)How can we deal with users who haven’t completed his/her payment successfully ? 2)I noticed if payment is unsuccessful then Level will assign to user with level but with “Hold” status. How admin can change it from Ultimate Membership Pro dashboard. I am not able to see any option for this.

Best Regards, Kush

Hi,

Admin can control anything from UMP Dashboard, especially in terms or users. He can add/change or delete any Level assigned.

I face the same problem as alessi0santoro had. When the non-logged in customer click on sign up for the premium member ship, nothing happens.

also this problem occurs accrording to alessi0santoro: ” After log in i tried to pay even with a paypal account but i didn’t get the membership automatically and the transaction isn’t show in the plugin interface even if money were successfully sent.

Does this mean that the only automatic way to acquire a membership is during “new registrations” ?

I’m using “User pro” plugin to moderate the registration process and I really hope that your plugin could automatically handle “membership sign ups” even logged in users. “

Hello, I’m interested by your plugin but I have a question. What I want to do is to create membership for my videos for everyone around the word so they will have to pay to view the content but let a free access for everyone in the province where I live (in Canada) with a different content. I just don’t want that my members who pay for the content can’t view my free content. Is it possible to do that with your plugin or I’ll need to use another plugin to restrict my free content by country, region etc.. like this one?

http://codecanyon.net/item/rulesengine-wordpress-access-and-content-controller/10368276

Hi,

There is not a such option and we may not recommended also. You can manage that only based on IP classes but anyone can use a different IP via a VPN and access your free content. So, is an insecure way to protect your content on such condition.

presale question: I have both bbpress and myCred, will it shown on user’s activity page when they made post, comment on bbpress? Does it show points from myCred as well?

Hi,

Thanks for your interest.

UMP is not connected with myCred script.

Thanks, Indeed Team

Hi guys, I’ve one question before buy. I’m now using a similar plugin to manage a user registration and private area.

With the api features I send the information about registration to another mysql db where I create a CRM. Is this possibile with Membership PRO? Do you’ve an API documentations to read?

Thanks Francesco

Hi,

Thanks for your interest.

We’re planning to add a dedicated API module on UMP but for now is not available.

Thanks, Indeed Team

Hi, can you yell me please: Is it possible to Registration / Create an Account – users will have a my account section. $350 lifetime membership so must pay to register and they can use it to view certain content ? MEMBERS who paid $350 get 15 of these free and when they run out of the their 15 they just use the normal processing fee route?

Hi,

Your desired approach is not clear for us. Please, debate.

Thanks, Indeed Team

And how?

So for my website, i was to restrict photos to non members. I want the photos to still show up in my recent photos category but i want it so if you click a photo that you have to pay for it redirects you to a sign up page or sign in page. How would i go about doing this ?

Hi,

You can use the Inside Locker module to restrict your Photos or any other content inside a Page.

Thanks,
Indeed Team

When the user signs up. Am I able to give them the option to check mark specific categories so that they only see those posts when they login?

Hi,

When a user Register, he can pick one of listed Levels and each Level may be set to provide access on specific Posts.

Thanks,
Indeed Team
