Hello, pre-sale question. Is the plugin have discount feature for membership renewal? For example, the membership fee is $50, then after expiration he want to renew it but this time the price now should be $30 because he’s a member already. Thanks.

Similar workflow is not predefined set but it can be accomplished very well with a coupon code available only for members that already bought that Level/Subscription.

I am trying to set up membership for an association and I need to know the best route to go with the membership levels. 1. The first year is One time fee ($50) + Annual Fee ($125) = $175 2. Every Year after that is an Annual Fee of $125
I need people to be able to renew at the cheaper price level whenever they would like. Ex. I am going to to have emails starting 3 months prior to expiration reminding people to renew membership. When they do it should be at the $125 price point. Please advise. Thanks.

That can be accomplished with a Recurring Payment when the user is automatically charged when the period is expired with a single Payment. For first approach, you can play with “Trial” price where you can set a fist price to $175 and the recurring price on $125. On the second approach you have to play with two levels. One for registering with Limited time to 1year and price $175 and the another one which will be available into Account page with a Limited time and $125 price.

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately the first option won’t work because we cannot automatically charge people to join the association for another year. It has to be an opt in on their part to renew. If we us the second route by adding a “Renew” level in the personal account page set at the $125 price, how do we have it start the day after their current membership ($175) ends? Setting this on an individual level would require too much time with the number of members.

As a renew action, if the Level is not yet expired, the new period will be added on the current one, otherwise the current time will be take as a reference.

Another question: For the “User Before Level Expires” email can you send multiple emails prior to the expiration date? Also, when does the default email usual go out before the account expires? I would like to be able to send out an email 3, 2 and 1 months before expiration to encourage renewing your membership. Thanks.

There are two different emails notifications that can be sent. before level expires and after level expired. You can set a custom time before is going to expire when the first email may be sent.

Dear support, I like your plugin very much and would like to use it on my new project. Please tell me is it possible to have on my homepage divided entrance for registered users (doctors) and not registered users (patients)? Non registered users (patients) should have different menu ( with much less content) than registered users (doctors). I need to split those 2 categories right form the start- so patients should just choose ‘Patients’ and they do not need to login- they can see all non restricted content. Non registered users should never see menu of a registered users. Registered users should have 2 levels depending of their package ( so altogether 3 levels: one for non registered and 2 for registered; each level has its own menu) Do you maybe have any example how does it look like to choose registered and not registered access on front page? You can restrict any content/page/url or even menu link based on Levels or user status (registered/not-registered). So, there can show up different Homepage and Menu. Still, based on your description you wanna different content on users even if they are non-registered. Non-registered users can not be different, are all the same.

Hi, thank you for your answer. No, I just want the same content for al non registered users – and other contetnt for registered. But I need to split them in very beginning; on my homepage: doctors enter HERE and patients enter HERE. Doctors should log in to continue and patinents do not have to login they just go straight to their version of site. Is that possible with your plugin? Do you have example of splitting visitors on homepage? Thanks!

I’m trying to create a 1 page sign up process (ie. fill in the register form & straight to payment, no extra steps) for the 2 levels of membership (paid subscriptions) on my site. I want each membership to have a different register page as they are 2 completely different products – ie. those that want membership A, sign up on page A, those that want membership B, sign up on page B.
Once they have filled in those registration forms, I want the ‘Register’ button to take them straight through to PayPal to pay for their membership. When creating the register form I don’t want them to be taken to a subscription plan page after, as that’s then just a useless extra step (in which I’ll probably lose a few customers).
There doesn’t seem to be a way to have the register forms on different pages, redirect to different pages afterwards – ie.The registration form on Page A for Membership A, goes straight to payment in PayPal for Membership A, while the registration form on Page B for Membership B goes straight to payment in PayPal for membership B. Is there a way to do this, or can you look at setting it up in the near future? Thanks

There is one main Register form that is connected on all the other modules. But each field from register form can be set to show up only for specific Levels, so, even if is about one register form it can looks totally different from one level to another.
If you don’t wanna set a Subscription Plan, you can set a Predefined Level for register but if is about multiple Levels (two in your case) you can do something different and to set the Register page link with an additional parameter (?lid=) which the different Level will be assigned on the register step. So, you can have two links (Sign Up for Membership A & Sign Up for Membership A) which will go directly to Register form but with different level assigned.

Hello azzaroco, I sent you a mail, a day ago. Like, I have mentioned in the email that was sent to you, all the payment gateway options listed are not supported in my country, Nigeria. Is there any possible chance Integrate Cashenvoy or Remita (Nigerian payment gateways)? Especially Cashenvoy(www.cashenvoy.com), and yes both companies are quite open and are offering their API on any platform, as they support all major PHP shopping carts; Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart, etc.
That said, I have some other presale questions which are:
1. Can I use UMP to create Gold and Silver Membersip, which will have differ restrictions, roles and capabilities?
2. Can I also use UMP to create a platform where users get to have access to a once? that’s give them access to perform “one” activity, which upload a picture/photo once? Like using it for a photo competition, where users come to the website to upload there picture(s) once per entry?
3. Should a website with bbPress and/or BuddyPress as well as WooCommerce integrates UPM and a user creates an account through any of the these platforms will s/he have access to the protected pages, contents, menus, etc. since UMP sync with these platforms?
Positively waiting your for response, especially on the possibility of CashEnvoy and/or Remita integration. Also the answers to the presale questioned asked.

Integrating a new payment gateway into UMP is a complex job and it can not be accomplished by anyone other us. Still, a payment gateway to be integrated needs to provides automatically recurring payments and a IPN connection, which small payments system doesn’t have.
Yes, there can be set multiple Levels with different restrictions, prices and stuff. It can be restricted even an Upload button for (a portfolio let’s say).
To have Levels for restriction assigned, the user needs to register via UMP. After that he can login on any other Platform. Still, the Levels are manageable only via UMP systems.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t understand what you mean by small payment gateway, don’t know if you are referring the two the list gateway mentioned above. If organizations in my country uses them, Remita being my country’s – Nigeria sole gateway for her transactions, I mean the “Federal Government of Nigeria” uses it to pay and receive funds from her citizens, NGOs(Home and Abroad), Private Companies (Home and Abroad), Taxes (Home and Abroad), etc. Most companies in my country who want to receive money abroad using online platforms uses either “Remita or CashEnvoy”, and the ones I have seen uses CashEnvoy to trade globally. Like I have mentioned before these two payment gateways are all compatible with “ALL PHP Shopping Cart system” and as well as .Net products. So, I don’t understand what you meant by small payments system. Like I have typed earlier, they have their API expose for anybody or firm that may want to integrate their platform into their own system, which is readily available in their respective websites.
Again, I also did not understand what you meant by recurring payments and IPN connections. Now, you mentioned complexity in the integration and can only be done by you guys; I believe that means extra cash, fine by me just tell how much extra I need to pay and hope it won’t be extravagant.
Please, I need to know it is possible and workable as I am time bound between now and next week. I need to know in know distant time, so as to aid me seek for a solution elsewhere if it’s not possible by you guys.
