Hey, is there any way to alter the image url custom field so that it resembles the featured image look? Any way that i can really just hide the text input field when its filled, i’d rather not let a user see the file structure of the site
Unfortunately there is no way to hide the URL in the current version.
In version 3.0.0 the Media URL element offers this functionality.
It looks like the “thumbnail” field type isn’t working (i.e. the field that allows a user to upload an image). I click on it and nothing happens at all. Is there a general troubleshooting tip you can recommend for this?

It now appears that FEP was not the cause and that it was only coincidental that the problem apparently stopped when we deactivated FEP. However, the problem has since reappeared when your plugin is inactive so we are now back on the trail

Hi. In the premium version there are custom fields that you can use for this. However the author bio and image will not automatically appear under each post. You will have to write a custom PHP snippet for that. If you want I can help you with the snippet.

Ive read the documentation and I thought I did the custom fields correct. They show on the page but when posted they don’t show. Only title and the content show. Im not sure what I am doing wrong.. Anyone help?
Hi. Custom fields are responsible for getting your data to the database. The values from these fields are not displayed on the website automatically.
How do I have them display automatically? The field name + the answer they fill. Im usually pretty savvy with this stuff but not grasping it.

Hi. You can do so by entering a category ID in the fallback value and disabling the field.

I am interested to buy the plugin but i discovered that the feature of multiple categories selection would have fitted to my needs if the plugin allow number of categories selections instead of just multiple (i guess unlimited selection) example include a function to input the quantity of categories eg 2, 4, 6 etc

This field isn’t available right now. But you can add it if you have some experience with WordPress development. The instructions in the documentation should get you started.
Bought plugin and like it. I customized some css, scripts and added some new field types. One simple question. Each form has two shortcodes, for submition form and for post table.
But why post table shortcode has ID? It always shows the same table with or without ID
That form is used for editing entries on the post list page.

and

The second one shouldn’t be able to edit posts because it doesn’t know what post type to use. Also if you need to display posts of a different post type in the post list then you must provide a form ID of that post type.
What about custom taxonomy. Does your plugin detect taxonomy (for example, for woocommerce product post type)?

Hey, from what I see everyone is asking if you have plans to update the plugin, in 8 months, nothing!

I don’t understand why you are updating the free version without updating the pro version.
In 8 months you only say “it’s in the works”, unbelievable.

- The latest version of premium plugin doesn’t have any bugs or issues. If in some rare case, there is a site-specific issue, I try my best to help clients resolve it.
- The premium plugin is quite responsive. It’s just the demo website that’s not.
The last update of the free version just included cosmetic changes like a banner for the WordPress.org plugin page.
I have said this multiple times before and I will say it again: the existing framework of the plugin wasn’t able to support some advanced features that people were requesting without becoming less maintainable and stable. So I decided to change the framework. What this means is that I am writing everything from scratch. I don’t think that “unbelievable” that it’s taking time.
If you find a bug in the current version, let me know and I’d be more than happy to release a new version with a fix.

Second. A lot of my content is shared in Facebook. This plugin has a built-in email module that will notify you when there is a new submission.
Once the post is created using the frontend form, it become just like any other post. If you other posts can be shared on FB, the ones created with FEP can be shared too.

This features isn’t available out of the box but it can be done with some custom code.
