does this plugin work with the WPLMS theme? A different menu plugin I tried (Nav Menu Roles) does not work with the theme. Thanks!

I’m not aware of the WPLMS Theme… If you have it you can submit a ticket at our Help Center and we can test (we would need a copy of the theme for testing).

Hi this is a pre-purchase question I would like to know if it’s possible To have a menu by user. exemple : i choose the user in the menu left and i create the menu. the menu appear on a specifique page (the same for each user) thank you

If each of your users have their own unique user role then it’s easy. The plugin lets you create a menu for each USER ROLE, not for each individual user.

E.g. if you have 5 Editors on your website all 5 editors will see the same menu that you created for the user role Editor.

Hope that makes sense.

Ok i understand. I must create one role per user. In my case i have some users in the same role but i want create a menu for each user… Is it hard to do with your plugin? Even if i must edit the code… thanks for your quick answer

Unless you are a programmer you can not modify the code to do what you want. The plugin doesn’t allow you to create a menu for each user. It works with WordPress User Roles.

You can use our White Label Branding for WordPress, which has a built in Role and Capability Manager to create other user roles. And these will be picked up by Menu by User Role.

I hope it makes sense :)

pre-purchase question: I read that you can create a link in the navigation with login and logout (or sort of button somewhere). To where refers this option? A seperate login screen or the loginscreen of wordpress? I do not want users to see the black bar of the wordpress environment, but enter a (sort of) protected environment. Is this possible with this plugin ? I do not see any screenshots of this. I’m looking for a plugin that provides customers an additional content when the login. (hope you understand me :))

Thank you for looking at the plugin. Menu by User Role for WordPress is for creating different menus for users. E.g. a public menu, a menu when logged in – and even different menus for each user role.

The Dynamic Login and Logout link is from our White Label Login for WordPress plugin http://white-label-login.righthere.com/get-access-shortcodes/

If you do not want your users to see the toolbar in the top i would recommend you to get our White Label Branding for WordPress, which lets you customize the wp-admin including hiding the toolbar. If it is only that feature you are looking for – it might overkill to get the White Label Branding for WordPress plugin.

can i use any free plugin to create new user role & intergrate with this plugin..?

Menu by User Role should recognize any user role created following the WordPress Codex.

pre-purchase question: I’m using the plugin ultimate member. I’ve created new roles. So can I define a menu by role instead of subscriber or Author?

Thank you for looking at the plugin. Menu by User Role will recognize any other user role created following the WordPress Codex.

Does this plugin works with CAKE theme from Muffingroup? I have conflicts with “Nav Menu Roles” a wordpress free plugins. My requirement is to have different menu for different role and logged out users

If the theme follow the WordPress Codex then it will also work with our plugin. I don’t have the theme so I can’t test it, but if customers run into problems we normally work with the customer to identify the issue and fix any problems.

I have the same as cydrildarmouni, it isn’t working with the latest version of wordpress or at least with my configuration (started since the update to the latest wordpress version).. Any updates on it?

Thank you for buying the plugin. This is our demo site Menu by User Role, which is running WordPress 4.3.

I’m able to assign different menus to each user role without any problems.

And it also works in the WordPress Customizer

If you experience issue please submit a ticket at our Help Center and provide information about how to recreate the issue. Also provide wp-admin login credentials so we can review the issue.

hi

will the plugin get updated

Not sure what you mean. The plugin is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

Hi,

Want to add a horizontal Nav menu under the main manu of our website. we will show this menu just for the logged on user with paid membership. for more detail see the picture at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5CJwMCrq7JRWkdHUlpmWmtkUlU/view?usp=sharing

Can we use your plugin to handle this?

I believe you posed the same question on the White Label Branding for WordPress dashboard. Let me know if you still have questions.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, white label branding suggested to use your plugin. I just need to confirm if I can use your plugin to add two horizontal menus one for public and the second for logged on users. is that possible?

I posted comments in the other thread.. lets try and keep this in one thread so we don’t have to copy replies :)

Is this compatible with UberMenu?

We do not have any reported conflicts. Menu by User Role lets you apply a user role to each of the menus you create. This should work with UberMenu too. If you experience any issue we will be happy to assist you.

hi, I have a login and register menu in the main menus. when a user logged in, those menu have to change to logout and my account. could your plugin make it happen with all theme? my theme is multinews and some free plugin is not compatible this function thanks

The Menu by User Role plugin allow you to create different menus based on the visitors User Role. You can create a menu for each user role and a menu for users not logged in.

We have a plugin called Modal Log In for WordPress, which besides customization of the login screen also allow you to insert a dynamic login/logout button or link in the menu

http://modal-login.righthere.com/modal-login/shortcodes-for-log-in-and-log-out/

These two plugins work great together.

Any updates coming around the corner?

Anything thing specific you are looking for?

Hi, can this plugin assign a menu for individual users? Rather that user type or role? Like, Menu 1 for user1, Menu2 for user2

Thanks

No this is by User Role, but you can use another plugin like our White Label Branding for WordPress to create new user roles.

pre-purchase question: this plugin works with the betheme? do you have a list of other plugins thats your plugin confilcts with? thanks

If you experience any conflicts we will always do our best to help you out. The Betheme is a popular theme so it is important for us that it works.

Hi there,

I have just purchased the plugin and I can’t seem to get WordPress to save the menu theme locations.

It is “Top Navigation Menu (Default Logged In)” that I chose. After clicking “Save Menu”, the page says “Name_Of_My_Menu has been updated.” However, the theme location has been unchecked.

I tried disabling all the plugins, except yours, and also reverse the theme to the WordPress default “Twenty Fifteen” theme, yet the problem remains.

I am building it on my localhost. I am wondering if you have Skype or any live option so that you can help me figure it out.

Best regards,

Tim.

Thank you for buying the plugin.

Sounds like you have a conflict with another plugin or your theme. You can try and deactivate all other plugins and see if it makes a difference. If it does then start activating one plugin at a time until you see the problem happening again. If it doesn’t make a difference deactivating all plugins then try and switch your theme to the default WordPress theme – just for testing so that we can rule this out.

If you submit a ticket at our Help Center we will review this.

I have stated clearly that I already tried disabling all the plugin, and switch the theme back to the default theme.

I shall raise a ticket, and we’ll go from there.

What is your ticket no ?

Like it … I’ll purchase soon …

Glad you like it let us know if you have any questions.

Seems like a nice and easy to use plugin. Does not however work with the Jupiter theme as of date.

Thank you for buying the plugin. If your theme doesn’t follow WordPress Codex then it could be a problem. However I don’t think that is the issue. Submit a ticket at our Help Center and we can review this.

Hi where can I add the licence code to the plugin?

Thank you for buying the plugin. The Menu by User Role plugin doesn’t have an option panel thus not a License tab. You do not need the License key to use the plugin.

Updates are released to Codecanyon where you can always download the latest version. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello! I have a little problem… when i access the site with login, don’t display… i need to press ctrl+f5 to clean the cache and display my menu.

How i fix this? all try with all browsers and get the same results.

Thank you for buying the plugin. No idea what is going on.

Did you insert a login link into the menu and it doesn’t show?

You can try and deactivate all other plugins and see if it makes a difference. If it does then start activating one plugin at a time until you see the problem happening again. If it doesn’t make a difference deactivating all plugins then try and switch your theme to the default WordPress theme – just for testing so that we can rule this out.

Submit a ticket at our Help Center and we will review.

Hi, Will this plugin work with BuddyPress?

The plugin follows the WordPress Codex, but we didn’t add any specific support for BuddyPress. We will need to test that first.
