Pre Sales Questions:
1) is this compatible with most themes? 2) I want to be able to discount a particular product only if there are products from a specific category also in the cart, and/or if the value of the cart is a specific amount.
Can it do this?
Thanks!
Okay I’ve been playing with the demo and I can’t see anyway to get it to do what I need.
1) Purchase any product from category A and get price discount on product B (say for example $7)
2) Spend $45 in Category A and get product B free.
The first one might be possible I suppose but I can’t see anyway to do that last one. Am I missing something?
Thanks!
Okay I’ve purchased and I’ve got 1) sorted.
I can’t however get the second one (spend X amount in category A and get B product free. )Price rules only seem to allow for quantities rather than price.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
We find our plugins compatible to most themes.
Regarding your second query, I am afraid that is not possible with our plugin. You can’t trigger a free item based on the total amount spent.
You can create a rule like buy one get one free, triggering the free item based on the number of quantities or items purchased.
I’m having a bit of a problem with this plugin.
It seems to add a discount properly the first time ie Buy product in cat X and get x discount on product Y. However if at the cart the number is increased to 2 items, because they haven’t bought another product which qualifies then this second one should be at full price. It isn’t, there is a discount applied but not the full one, it’s like it knocks off a few dollars from the secound item too, even though it shouldn’t.
I have it set to Price discount not percentage. Is this a bug or am I just not getting the settings right?
Actually, it might be right after all. The total for 2 items appears to be correct 9ie one at full price one discounted) it’s just that on the indivdual price where the original is crossed out, it seems to be giving the new cost of each item when one is discounted and the other not. Very confusing!
So all seems to be fine, fingers crossed!.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!

Pre-sale question
Can I set up the following where my dealers get different discounts on a per category basis? Example below.
Dealer A – Apples: 10% off :: Oranges: 15% off :: Bananas: 20% off
Dealer B – Apples: 15% off :: Oranges: 20% off :: Bananas: 15% off
Dealer C – Apples: 5% off :: Oranges: 5% off :: Bananas: 10% off
etc
Also, does this plugin work with Woocommerce Product Add Ons extension? I use this for most of my products.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Our plugin can help you create discounts per user role. That means, each user role can have its own discount rule, just like your scenario.
Lastly, our plugin was not tested with Woocommerce Product Add Ons yet. However, you are free to give it a try. If the two won’t work together, then we are happy to provide you a refund.
Thanks
Try on this link http://jarsinmalaysia.com/product/360ml-glass-jar-gold-metal-cap/ in mobile. The pricing table doesn’t able to show until the maximum quantity in mobile due to not a responsive pricing table plugin
if you phone screen is larger you can try this link which has more quantity level. http://jarsinmalaysia.com/product/325ml-glass-jar-metal-cap/
Hi!
Thanks for your feedback, this is a known issue and will be fixed in future release.
Hi, I have a presale question.
I’m using http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-extra-product-options/7908619 to add extra options to my products for which customers are charged extra.
For example customers can add text on the product for another $10, or choose a gift box for addition $5.
At the same time I want to have a global 5% discount on ALL products, including the additional options.
Can your plugin achieve this? Can it also do 5% only on the item and not on the additional options?
Thanks for your time!
Hi!
I’m afraid I can’t say for sure, but most probably our plugin won’t be affecting those addons at all.
If there’s a conflict will I be eligible for a refund?
If the plugin doesn’t work for you, you can get a refund.
Hi, just bought and tested it. It doesn’t work with the additional options I have, how can I get a refund?
Thanks
Hi, please ignore my previous message. The dynamic discount option in my extra options plugin was disabled by default. Plugin works outstandingly
Hi,
It’s nice to hear that it is working now. If you have any other concerns, feel free to contact us anytime.
Envato already refunded me for it, waiting to see if they can reverse the refund, if not I’ll just buy the plugin again. Sorry for the trouble.
No worries. Let us know if you need further assistance. Thanks
Hi there, is it possible to get a testing licence to test the plugin on our development site before buying it for our main site?
Hi!
Could you create a support ticket please? Person responsible for this is now on the leave, he’ll answer you as soon as he’s back.
I should have said that this was a pre-purchase question, it’s saying I need an item purchase code.
No worries then – I’ll pass the link to this comment.
Hi there. Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as a testing licence. However, feel free to purchase a regular licence now and if the plugin won’t work for you as expected, we will refund you in full.
I want to buy this plugin but I have one query that we can set offer like that buy one get one free in particular select category??
Hi!
Yes, you could select particular products or categories as conditions, and add 100% discount on other products or categories.

Let us know if you still need assistance in setting up any rule.
Hi, It is compatible with WooCommerce 2.5?
Hi!
Yes, it is compatible.
Hi, I will have such offers on my new website and I wonder if I can do rules like this. According to your response, I will order plugin immediately!
When the cart total is equal or bigger than 100 USD: Rule 1 – Products in category A are discounted by %x OR Rule 2 – Products in whole store discounted by %x OR Rule 3 – Products in category A are discounted %x and products in category B are discounted %Y
and so on.
Thank you!
Hi!
Yes, all 3 rules can be set in ‘Cart Discounts’ tab.
1 and #3 are quite easy, and #2 can be set in different ways.
Get back to us if you’ll need any help setting this up.
Hi, I have a pre-sale question. Would it be possible in your system to do the following:
Buy one get one half price! *When purchased with ONE of our own brand items.
This is a mix and match offer.
So..
A = our own brand items and the identifier for the 50% off your lowest priced item.
B = general stock / any other item in our store
A is the initial identifier required to activate the offer.. So when A+A or A+B are selected it then needs to identify what is the lowest value item of either A or A combination or A + B to apply the 50% discount to..
But then we could have a A + A + B combination in the till… It would then have to identify what the higher value A item, then go off the lowest A or B item to apply to discount to just ONE lower priced item and not just discount in the order it was imputed into the till..
As this would happen.. Eg A@40 + A@£10 + B@£39.99 Total £84.99
When it should have listed it numerically..
A@40 + B@£39.99 + A@£10 Total £69.99
And if it was 4 item transaction.. eg A + A + B + A it would then have to see 2 identifiers and choose the higher 2 A items and then default the other 2 items to half price..
Eg A@£40 + B@£1 then B@39.99 + A@£10 = £42.50 + £44.99 Total £87.49
As it should be organizing in value no matter the order..
Eg A@£40 + B£39.99 then B@£10 + A@£1 = £59.99 + £10.50 Total £70.49
Hi!
Overall it is possible to setup such rule, but unfortunately our product don’t support selecting lowest-priced item to apply the discount to.
Is it something I could change? or request as a feature? or pay for as a feature?
We will be considering this functionality for the new version. Thank you for sharing this!
Is there a way I could either find out if this functionality has been accepted to be worked on, and then a timeframe as to what it may be released.
This is just a crucial part of a website I’m going to start building but I could still use this plugin if the feature was added in the coming months.
Thanks
I’ve added a note to update this comment thread when there’s a decision on this feature.
Pre-sale question Hi, is it possible to show the discounted price (and/or rules) on the products archive page?
Hi!
It’s partially possible – on single-product page there’s an option to display the pricing table, which lists quantity discount rules.
Apart from that – unfortunately there’s nothing else that can be displayed on products pages.
hello there,
I would like to formulate some basic pricing rules but cannot seem to figure it out.
One simple requirement is X amount of products for a fixed price. E.G 1x item in a category costs 2.50. If you buy 5x items in the same category it will cost £10. Basically £2.50 each or 5 for £10
Hi!
The easiest way to achieve this would be to set the quantity rule with minimum of 5, and then set ‘fixed price’ discount and set the desired per-item price. Would that work for you?
Ok and how would that work if they purchased 6 items?
The same way, if you set the maximum to * or 6. But if you set it to also 5, then it’ll work only for amount of 5.
unfortunately it does not work. if you add 6 products that with a maximum of 5 the price reverts to the non discounted price for all items. Basically I cannot see any way to perform a simple discount procedure
the best that can be achieved is a single item 100% discount on purchases of 5 items or more. this is not what i wanted but it is close to working. The end prices are still incorrect but only by a small amount
and it only works because of the original price of the item being close to divisible by 4 against the final discounted offer. EG item price £2.49 / discount offer 5 for £10
considering all the functions it offers it amazes me your plugin cannot perform the most basic price discount
If you’d like the price to stay discounted for more amounts, just input * there, which means that maximum is not limited.
100% discount for one item is also possible.
As for such fixed calculations, you might need to create each rule for each offer manually.
but will that apply to multiples of? EG batches of 5. as i first stated. what happens when you buy 6 when there is a discount on batches of 5?
that is what is in place currently – https://www.e-cigshop.co.uk/e-liquids/hangsen/apple/
it’s supposed to be 5 for £10. If they buy 6 items it should be £10 plus £2.49 for the 6th item. Then if they go up to 10 items it becomes £20 for all of them.
i have sorted it now. fixed price special offer. Amount to purchase=5 Amount to adjust=5
Glad to know that you’ve been able to achieve this. Thank you for getting in touch!
Pre Purchase Question. I want to create a coupon…Lets say it is “Coupon” What I want to do is take $100 off if they choose product 1. Yet if they choose product 2 I want a $500 discount.
They will not be buying product 1 or 2 together. But I want the same coupon to have a different discount per product.. Please let me know. Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
I am afraid, our plugin does not trigger the discount by using coupons. This is something that we are still looking at the future.
Compliments on a very powerful & useful plugin.
Pre-Sales Qtn if you don’t mind:
Is the plugin compatible with Kallyas Theme running with WC 2.5.2 ?
Secondly, can i do bulk CSV update of price tiers with “CSV Import Suite” ?
Cheers.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
We haven’t tested with Kallyas theme, however we find our plugin compatible with most plugins.
You can’t update pricing rules of our plugin in bulk. Although, I am not sure if that is the same case with WooCommerce.
Anyway, you are free to give it a try. If you are not satisfied with our plugin, then we are happy to provide you a refund.
Hi, I have installed this plug in successfully. But after installation when I go to Woocommerce > Pricing and Discount,my whole screen converts into blank. Please let me know why this is happening..?
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
We have encountered this issue before and most of the time it is caused by the any of the following factors:
1. Plugin/theme incompatiblity.
Try to deactivate your other plugins or theme temporarily and access WC Pricing and Discounts settings again. If it is still showing a blank page, then it could be caused by the next factor.
2. Too much users on site
If you have lots of users on the site, then our plugin won’t be able to load the settings as it will most likely exhaust all the allocated PHP memory on your server.
If you have less users, then try to check error logs or enable WP_Debug, so that we can trace the cause of the issue.
Thanks for reply,
I have already deactivated rest of plugins and checked for compatibility.
Still it is showing following error – ” Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/previewa/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 220”
I tried to increase memory limit by doing following steps : 1) in config.php define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘64M’); 2) in php.ini memory_limit = 64M
Yes site has too much users and I need that.
So is there any way to sort out all these?
Thanks
Hi!
Unfortunately there’s no way in the current version of plugin – by default it pre-loads all users.
New version that’s in development already has a fix for that – to load users on-demand and by search.
For now please create the support ticket, so we could help you with some temporal workaround.
the plugin is not working for me. we have customized our template pages for products so i don’t expect the discounts to show up inline, however we are seeing no effect in the cart or checkout page, no matter what sort of rules we set. its as if it is being completely ignored.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
I believe we have replied to the support ticket you sent. We asked for your login details so that we can check the plugin settings.
Let us continue our discussion from there.
Thanks
hello, pre-purchase question ; can i make a discount according to cart item numbers ? I want to make a campaign like this ; if you add 2 items to your cart, you will get %20 off, if you add 3 items you will get %30 off etc… but user will not need to enter any coupon code or will not need to be logged in. Is it possible with this plugin ?
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Our plugin can create the quantity discounts you wanted, minus the use of coupon code. I am afraid, our plugin will not trigger using a coupon.
However, you can create discounts for specific user roles.
Hi. I want to use this great plugin but can’t use it because of some problem.
When I input ‘value’ into Value box of Quantity Discount, it is changed automatically.
ex. 3300 -> 300 224 -> 200 55 -> 60
I already checked woocommerce currency option and searched about it. but I can’t find solution. Would you help me?
currency is Won(Korean). ‘Number of Decimals’ is 0.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
WooCommerce is rounding off your digits, since you place 0 in your number of decimals. Please change that one to 2, and it should fix your issue.
Thank you. But I tried to fix it many times but it doesn’t fix.
Hi. Please submit a support ticket here together with a temporary admin login details, so that I can dig deeper on your concern.
Hi, before getting this plugin, I have an enquiry:
We are selling posters, if someone were to buy less than 15 pieces of any design of the same exact size, it will be $10 per piece, if they were to buy more than 15 pcs of any design of the same exact size, it will be say $20 per piece, and we need woocommerce to automatically calculate that price for the customer when he or she selects the quantity to tell them that there is a price difference base on quantity purchased.
Means, we need to be able to set conditions based on variables and quantities.
Here is a more detailed example with 2 different sized posters (A3 and A2):
based on 5A3 and 10A2, the total price will be: 5x$10.90 = $54.50 + 10x$26.90 = $269 , So total is $323.50
But if customer bought 5A3 and 25A2, the total price will be: 5x$10.90 = $54.50 + 25x$14.90 = $372.50 , So total is $427
A3 size price remains unchanged regardless of quantity. A2 is the one that will change
if the plugin allows, i can fix A3 or make changes like A2
means will need a plugin to allow us to create custom conditions
Hope this is not too confusing, thanks for your help.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Yes, our plugin will be able to do this. It plugin can create quantity discounts for your item. However, you can’t target a variation in a discount rule, one discount rule will be applied to all variations of a product.
I would suggest, you create another product named A2, so that the discount will be applied to the item only.
Hi,
I have a pre-sale Question:
When are you planning to update this plugin ? As per the changelog it was updated almost a year ago (Version 1.0.18, April 8 2015) and I think it might have some cosmetic issues with the new major update release of woocommerce 2.5
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Our developers are putting on some work on our plugin. However, there’s no ETA yet on the release date. Hopefully, we will be able to release the new version soon.
Hi! The Cart discount that I set is not displayed on the product page. Can you help me please to display?
Sincerely,
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
The discount will be shown in the cart and checkout page only. The plugin calculates discount based on the quantity added to cart so it is not possible to show the final price before an item is added to the cart.
Although, you can display Pricing Discount table on the product detail page, for quantity discounts, which shows the discounted prices for the users.
Hi, thank you for your answer. Can you tell me please how can I display the Pricing Discount table for Cart discounts? I want to be shown the cart discount rules on the product page to see customers how can they benefit in discounts.
I am afraid the pricing table is available only for quantity discounts under pricing rules.
Ok. And there’s not future option to make it available?
I’m afraid, there’s no other options as of now.
