I used FireFox 5.0 and I believe that’s why. I read your compatible browsers section now and I don’t see FireFox 5.0 compatibility, It worked with Chrome 12.0.742.122 m but still with black background.
This is a fine script and I like to buy it but unfortunately it’s not compatible with some browsers! Thanks.

I’m interested in your script, want to buy but created signatures on your site in black color text shows only an image with a black background. No signature is visible when viewing the png file after download – I could see the signature after download when I use a white color text because the background comes out black.
Where do I change the background color? Is it hard coded? If the back ground color hard coded then your script needs a background color change option (feature) like text color option. Please advise.

Since it’s a PNG image format with transparency, there’s no “background” color. By default, if there’s no signature (blank canvas), it’ll process an “empty” image, thus the PNG background color of black.
What steps did you take to produce this? It works as it should and I can’t seem to reproduce what you experienced.
Also what browser were you using? Some browsers do not yet support html5 canvas “toDataURL”.
