It depends on what exactly you need. If you want to use this module to only influence the current list of best sellers, it does not matter what theme you are using. But if you want to use the widget, it may require some adaptations to your theme.

The one uploaded here is the latest one.

This module overrides the getBestSales and getBestSalesLight function in Prestashop. So if only the elementor builder uses them to display bestsellers then it should be fine. But if the elementor builder retrieves best sellers in some other way, then it may ignore the settings from our module.

You can’t select best sellers manually, the module is based on actual sales. But you can limit searching for best sellers to some categories. This module changes prestashop’s built in functions so it should affect best sellers shown on the homepage in the tab from your image.

Hello, not exactly, on product page it would display best sellers from current product’s main category, but I think it can be quite easily adapted to your needs, as manufacturer best sellers are also in the code there. For 1.7 the module displays a standard grid of products, there is no default product slider built in PS 1.7 and each theme can be different, so for now to avoid conflicts we did not put any slider in, but we can consider doing it in the future updates.

Hello, this module relies heavily on overrides, which are considered a bad practice in prestashop 1.7 and partially removed. But we’re planning to develop a totally new module / widget for prestashop 1.7 that can have functions that are available in that version. Send us an email so we can let you know when it’s ready.

If all that you want it to display best sellers in the center of the home you can use the “Top-sellers block” module by Prestashop + our module that should give you more control over what is displayed. If you run into any trouble let us know, we have some solutions for 1.7 but not everything works there so we don’t officialy support 1.7 here

This module replaces the data in Prestashop, so if you display bestsellers anywhere, this module changes products displayed there. It does not have an option to select a bestseller manually, nor does it have any additional frontend blocks.

Hello! This module replaces products displayed as best sellers. So if you display best sellers block on category page now (for example using the default Prestashop module), and install this module, those products will change from global best sellers to best sellers from current category. This module does not have any front end block, it replaces the data, so that any module that you currently use to diplay best sellers starts working smart and context aware.

Check out the live preview of the module and browse the demo shop. On different categories you’ll see context best sellers in the Top Sellers block in left column.
