Hello, I bought your plugin today, but found out that it cant add price discounts to the product miniatures of woocommerce, because it is quantity based. Now thisis a BIG problem for me, since I need it to display the discount prices on the miniatures.
My setup of rules is the following: There is only ONE rule for SPECIFIC user which gives them a FLAT discount on all items in the shop.
I am a somewhat experienced with JS, so I am thinking of a making a post-render JS hack, that will just replace all the prices on the front-end by dividing them with the amount set in the rule.
But I just cant seem to be able to find how to output the discount value for the logged logged in user using the shop right now. I am sure it has to be stored SOMEWHERE since the price in the shopping cart in the header of page is getting updated properly when there are items in the cart.
The only thing I need it is a SINGLE like of PHP code that would allow me to output the discount value for the FIRST rule based on current user´s ID. I dont need anything else, just this one number. I can do everything else.
Can I get a reply for this?
Hi,
I am sorry for any delays here. I have forwarded your concern to our developers and just waiting for a response. Once we have some updates, we will get back to you the soonest.
Thanks
Thanks, I was starting to lose hope here. I just hope getting a single number shouldnt be THAT hard.
Hi,
Here’s a response from our developers.
You need to look at the Pricing class: wc-dynamic-pricing-and-discounts\includes\classes\rp-wcdpd-pricing.class.php
And method prepare() specifically – it is processing and validating rules. That way you could look it up.
Or there are also method pricing_table_calculate_adjusted_prices() in main file, which is used to build pricing table on a product page. It has simplified validation process, which could be possible to adapt to your needs.
Thanks
Hi – Pre-sales question, can your plugin allow multi tiered pricing for different users and will the different pricing be shown on the cart if they are signed in? Hope this makes sense
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Our plugin can setup different discount pricing, depending on the user roles. However, the discount will be shown in the cart and checkout page only. The plugin calculates discount based on the quantity added to cart so it is not possible to show the final price before an item is added to the cart.
Hello, I just bought your product if it is possible to block the main prize. Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
That is not possible out of the box. You will have to customize the plugin’s core file to achieve this feature.
Thanks.

Hello, it is possible to translate the plugin into Spanish?
Thank you.
Hi there,
Yes, this is possible with our plugin. Here’s a list of what you need to do to translate the plugin (all of these steps, one by one):
??????1. Install WP and/or our extension from scratch ( Only if you have made changes here and there which may prevent the system from working correctly. VERY IMPORTANT )
??????2. Change website language by setting WPLANG value to your language code ( Example : es_ES is for Spanish)
??????3. Open default.pot with a tool like Poedit (there's a free download on the internet) and translate some strings
??????4. Save (export) the translation and name files rp_wcdpd?-es_ES.po and rp_wcdpd?-es_ES.mo
??????5. Make sure that the newly created rp_wcdpd?-es_ES.po and rp_wcdpd?-es_ES.mo files reside in the wp-content/plugins/wc-dynamic-pricing-and-discounts?/languages/ folder
Hi there! Just want to double check before purchase:
Would like to offer a 10% discount on Product A with the purchase of Product B.
Can this be done with your plugin? And will the discount be given automatically in the cart when both Product A and Product B are added?
Thanks so much!
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
This is possible with our plugin, and the discount will automatically reflect in the cart.
Hi there, Pre-purchase question..
Would like to offer a 10% discount for Product B WITH THE PURCHASE OF Product A. (10% off Product B is only offered if Product A is in the cart)
We are open to this being done with a coupon code or automatically in the cart.
Can we do this with your plugin? Thanks so much!
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
The kind of setup is possible minus the coupon code. Currently, our plugin does not trigger the discount using any coupon code.
Thanks
Hi, any ETA on when this will be compatible with WooCommerce 2.5.2? Thank you.
Hi there,
Our development team is currently testing the plugin for any compatibility issues and will release an update, if needed, very soon.
Please count it as needed. I purchased the plugin before checking the compatible WC version (my oversight) and am excited to get started.
Hi. Our lead developer has completed testing and confirmed that there are no compatibility issues with WooCommerce 2.5.x and it is now safe to upgrade WooCommerce on your site.
HI there, i jsut purchase this plugin. I’m planning to have promo of: buy A get complementary B for free, can the free item (
automatically added to cart when customer add product A? your help will be much appreciated Thanks!
Hi there,
No, this is not possible with our plugin. The free product will have to be added to the cart manually by the customer.
Is it possible to have discount if user reach 100$ of expense?
Thanks, Jacopo
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Yes, that is possible. It can be setup under Cart rule.
I try but it’s more complicated, every 100$ i need to make a product free. For the moment i do it with Pricing rule -> Special Offer but i only have quantities and not cart total. With cart rule i can do pricing or percentage discount but not free product.
Excuse me and thanks, Jacopo
Hi,
You can’t provide free product under Cart rule. That should be setup under Pricing rule. However, pricing rules based the discounts on the quantity of items.
The cart rule on the other hand, based their discount on the total amount purchased, but can only provide percentage or price discount to your whole cart.
Hope that clear things.
Is it possible to set the “from” price to be the highest discount from all dynamics discount rules applied to a product ?
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
That is not possible out of the box. You will have to customize the plugin’s core file to achieve that.
Anyway, the discount will be shown in the cart and checkout page only. The plugin calculates discount based on the quantity added to cart so it is not possible to show the final price before an item is added to the cart.
Hi. I’m just enquiring as to multi currency support as I’ve been told you are adding native support. Will the plugin allow different discounts (fixed amount or percentage) for different currencies?
Hi there,
No, this is not possible with our plugin as of now. You will have to customize the plugin for this scenario.
Is this something that is in the future plans, or something I should give up on?
We already have this in our feature request list – to add support for Currency Switcher plugins. Can you please elaborate on what exactly you want our plugin to do so that i can forward it to our development team?
Thanks for your reply. I require the ability to be able to apply different ‘multi-unit’ discounts for each currency. i.e. buy 2 or more and it is reduced by $50 USD per item for US currency or $70 AUD per item for Australian currency etc. Does this make sense?
Ok. You want the setup different discount values for different currencies, is that right?
Yes, thanks.
Ok. Thank you for your feedback, i will surely forward this request to our lead developer for future consideration.
Hello, we make buying the plugin but it error ’’ without permission to access the page ’’ I sent a ticket in the support and got no answer http://prntscr.com/9xqzwo, I wonder if the plugin does not work anymore? and would money back
Hi. I see that the ticket has already been replied to. Let’s continue there for faster resolution.
Hello, I am looking for a plugin that allows a ‘buy 5 get one free’ rule to be applied whenever 5 items are added to the shopping basket. Or, an fixed price discount to be automatically applied whenever 5 or more items are added. Would you be able to let me know if this is possible? Thanks.
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Yes, this is possible with our plugin. However, the free product will not get added to the cart automatically. You will have to add it manually to the cart.
That’s great, thanks
You’re welcome! Let us know if you have any other concerns.
For a new webshop I’m building, I would really like to use this plugin. But I’ve already upgraded to WooCommerce 2.5. Should I wait for your update, or install a lower version of WooCommerce instead? And which part of the plugin does not work well with the latest WooCommerce?
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
As far as we know. The latest version of WooCommerce should work with our plugin. You can use both the latest version of WooCommerce and our plugin together.
Hi, Does the plugin’s compatible with WordPress 4.4? Thank you, Laura
Hi there,
Yes, our plugin has been tested with WordPress 4.4 without any known issues.
Hi, Been using the plugin successfully for a while, however just updated our offers and struggling to figure out the logic here, I have items that go from £1 to £4 and want an offer that says if they put 3 of these into the basket and the price is over £10 then fix the price at £10 – can you tell me how to achieve this please? Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
Fixed pricing is good for quantity discounts. Try to use the following rule.
http://screencast.com/t/CgnejGoMaOHowever, this rule is only good if there are three purchases.
Thanks
Hi, Thanks for coming back to me, I had tried this rule and it didn’t apply in the cart, having just recreated it, it still doesn’t do anything ? Whether this is three of the same items or a mixture of products.
Hi, Thanks for coming back to me, I had tried this rule and it didn’t apply in the cart, having just recreated it, it still doesn’t do anything ? Whether this is three of the same items or a mixture of products. However I have set the fixed price to 3.33 which then applies, so the rule wasn’t applying because your idea was to charge each item at £10. The problem here is it’s still not 3 for £10 and the offer cannot repeat.
Is there any other way around this?

Hello, I would like a rule to be applied according quantity of a product. For example, I want a unit price to be 1$ up to 499 items, then aunit price to be 0.5$ from 500 items. Does such thing possible ?
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch!
This is possible with our plugin using quantity discount.
Hi,
I want to confirm that the functions are available before I purchase.
1. I want to setup simple roles: Retail & Wholesale.
2. The retail role will show the normal pricing.
3. The wholesale role will show the discounted pricing based on a percentage discount for each category.
4. The wholesale role will be able to see the discounted price when logged into their account and on the product detail page or category pages.
5. Is it possible to assign tax exemption to the wholesale role.
Basically I want it very simple. If the person’s role is set to wholesale, they will see a 20% discount in each assigned category. I also want to be able to set each category discount individually or each product discount individually based on a percentage.
Thank you!
Hi there,
All of this is possible with our plugin but there are two points to note:
1. The discount will be shown in the cart and checkout page only. The plugin calculates discount based on the quantity added to cart so it is not possible to show the final price before an item is added to the cart.
You can display a Discount Table if you are using the Quantity Discount method in the plugin. However, our plugin will not override the original prices anywhere except the cart/checkout page.
2. Our plugin does not handle user roles in any way – it only helps you create discount rules for them. So, you will have to use another plugin for create these user roles, i can suggest this plugin for the purpose.
