How can I change or add a sidebar list? Let me know me that way.
I’ve added a sidebar using the [Simple Page Sidebars] plugin. However, it does sighting in a web page, select [sidebar] added in [widgetised sidebar].
The solution to this problem would be appreciated tell me in detail.
Hello, through VC you can use widgetised sidebar element which allows placing WP widgets there, as for 3rd party plugins – I can not comment on this one – it is recommended contacting 3rd party plugin author directly for more information.

Hi, recently I’m trying to improve the speed of my site. From analysis I found that there is one file that takes about 3-4 seconds to load. It’s called admin-ajax.php. It only appears when the Visual Composer is activated in the plugin. Just wondering is this file related to Visual Composer? Is there anything I can do to improve the loading speed? Thanks!
Hello, admin-ajax.php is used for grid display to retrieve data. If you are not using grid element from VC on your site it won’t display. Also we have just released update focused on performance so I suggest to update in order to speed up your site.

How do i get the standard wordpress function “read more”? a line with read more with a dropdown of text in it?
Hello, standard read more function just cuts content so it can cut shortcodes as well, this is why this option is disabled in Visual Composer.

Hello It doesn’t show my custom posts, I can set up a “Post Grip”, set “Data source” to post and “Narrow data source” to the custom post category that I want but it doesn’t show!
Hello, it could be so that your custom posts are made via some plugin and they are initialized after VC Grid so this is why VC does not see them. I would suggest opening support ticket at support.wpbakery.com so we can look into this and track the issue.

Any update on passing through Google schema markup? I just updated a bunch of my product pages to Visual Composer and they look fantastic, but the lack of Google search information will likely hurt my sales of those products.

I’m using VC as part of a theme that it came bundled with. My question is with the Progress Bar. I’d like to make the bars a bit thicker – how do I do that? Hello, right now there is no option to do this directly from VC so you will need either add extra class name and then refer to it from Custom CSS or change element via our API, described at kb.wpbakery.com

I need to alter h2, h3, h4 etc titles in various VC elements for SEO reasons. Is there an easy way to achieve this? It looks like I may have to create a lot of css overrides, which may in the future get changed by VC updates. I am using the Porto theme, but its VC titles I am trying to get my head around.
I am no css expert. For example, how can I change the .aio-icon-header h3.aio-icon-title to be NOT an h3 title, but to whatever class I want to set?
Hello, you will need to change VC elements via API – described at kb.wpbakery.com, but you will require coding skills to do this.

Dear Author,
I have a row of 5 columns each contains Post Grid element. Each Post Grid element is configured to display single post, selected by ID and i enter the name of the post. This way i have 5 boxes and i pick which post goes where.
Problem is that Post Grid element number 4 displays wrong post. I have double checked it and still it displays wrong post.
Can you help me?
Doing some testing just now and notices, that if i place 2 posts and id of first is 250 and second 50, it will just display the post with id 50 twice. It does not read whole it, but only 2 last digits.

From my point of view, it is the only downside of your product. It is important though because it is crutial to be able to easily import widgets (without the use of sidebars) anywhere i like. I am expecting your responce as soon as possible.

Hello, please check if you have latest version, if not, please do update. Also check amount of content and size of images you are using, this could impact speed as well. Also I would suggest also speeding up site with cache plugin as well.

Hi visual composer,
I have a web agency and on the side I work for this website www.woact.com. Now we use wordpress as our blog but the rest of the site is coded by our developers. I suggested using your plugin so that we would not have to use html every time we set up a new blog post. The issue is that it does not translate to our site, so when it is published it shows the content with all the shortcakes and html.
My question is whether or not it is possible to make it work on our site and what files, stylesheets etc. we would need to copy to our site in order for it to work. Let me know if you can help. We bought the plugin already and its just not working.

hi, i have purchased the extended version of this plugin and i have 2 main question:
1. it’s really not clear for me regarding changing html class names for grid skeleton.
in skeleton grid is used like this:and so on, how we can change vc-col to this way,,,please provide example for same so we can easily can integrate it
2. in my coding for each row i use container div with specific class names and options like bg_image, parallax, bg_color….same as you do for vc-row…...how i can get same as my container there…..i need to use my container as row…

Very slow loading of elements in backend editor on only 1 PC with any browser. Other PCs have no problems.
I have this plugin as part of the Kleo theme, and it is extremely slow to use on a very powerful PC – so I believe there is some sort of software conflict.I mostly use the backend editor and anytime I edit an element, it will take from 5-10 seconds for the element to load. I have disabled all other plugins and put on 2014 theme and still same issue. This only happens on my desktop PC. On my laptop (which is much older and weaker), there is no problem with loading.
I have asked around everywhere but no one seems to have a clue. It isn’t only your plugin that has this script issue, as I have started to notice other web applications have this same type of delay on my PC. I can’t recall installing anything new on this PC, and I have stripped my browser of all add-ins and plugins and still the same issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As I said, I can be side by side on two PCs and only one will have an issue. So I wouldn’t believe the server would be an issue. I have had others test as well and they are not able to replicate the issue. So it seems to be specific to this one PC.
Still having this issue on my desktop. I have went ahead and done a clean install of windows 7, and without installing anything besides my chipset drivers and firefox, I still have this issue.
And as I said before, I have two computers on the same network and only one of them has this issue.
