Hi there,
Since the recent update I have a serious problem with the column layout. Everywhere I center my content with two empty columns on each side, the content appears to be floating left, not centered.
Do you guys have a fix? it’s a serious issue.

Hi there, Is there a way to sort the images in the Masonry Media Grid? I mean, if I add a new picture it goes automatically in the bottom, and so I have to move it to the top manually. This is quite boring because I’m adding pictures daily.
Is there a way to sort the images by date?

Hi there,
I have been using Visual Composer with almost every site I made, but I really miss one functionality. Maybe you have an extension for it, but I can’t seem to find it.
I want to specify posts by their title, not category or tag. So if you have a grid of 4 articles, I want to specify for each element which article should show. It’s kinda hard to explain, but maybe this video makes it easier to understand (at 3:10): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8McbOYGI1LcCheers

Instead of exclude, I would like the same functionality to select which posts I want to show.
In the source you can specify List of ID’s and then add posts you wish to include.

Hello, Backend view is more schematic. As for gaps, you can do it with margin, yet there will be adjustments necessary for prevent stacking. But – we are about to release update for VC which will include gap control for columns, so please hold on just a little bit and I promise you it will be really easy to add those gaps, plus more cool features will be available there as well.

I cant delete or save any tabs on my visual composer. Is this a license key issue ?
Hello, we did not experienced such problem on our side. You should open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com or if you got VC within a theme – ask your theme author for assistance. Also make sure you are using latest version of VC.

Thank you for your reply but I think here is a misunderstanding. IN teh previous version I would click on the template icon and all the screenshots were visible so that was very easy to choose. Of course I am in backend style.
Now with the new version I see only a list – when I open that shows only the layout – I mean the layout in the backend so I have to preview to see if I like it INSTEAD of seeing the screenshots right there and choose so I know what I have right there..
May be I am missing something or a secret way to see the screenshots that I have not discovered in the new version?

We had icons there, not actual screenshot (maybe some changes added to VC via your WP theme), nevertheless the new system with preview is a first step towards more advanced template system with more advanced and intuitive preview coming in the future.

This plugin is maxing my CPU and memory resources. I am using 4.8.0.1. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8208 bytes) etc…. I have already set my max memory to 512KB.
I can fix this problem by removing your plugin. Is there some way to fix?
Hello, I would suggest try to increase memory a bit and see how it acts.

I’m also having the Columns problem with my site. Latest version of VC broke my column layout. My site looks pretty rough right now, and I need to fix it ASAP. I understand it might be the theme dev’s fault, but that doesn’t help me fix the problem. Can you send me the previous version of Visual Composer to install? I need 4.8 or 4.8.01 maybe? Seems like 4.8.1 is the issue.

Hello, I have VC with bridge theme. I have a media grid with 78 images, I am using pagination, I notice that all images load at the same time which slows down media grid loading, is there a away to load only images on each page? What happens is that the page loads fast and only after 3 or 4 seconds the media grid appears. Thank you

the template you buy does not come with activation code

Hello! I use your plugin with theme build-in. As you are a developer I just want to ask your opinion regarding sliders performance. I am going to use several (up to 20) small sliders on single page. Which one slider (Nivo slider, Flex slider or Image Carousel) is most optimized for it? What one should I choose for faster page loading and operating? Thank you!
Hello, in general I would not suggest using so much sliders on one page as it will affect performance. If you still need to I would suggest performing a speed test to determine which one fits best in your case.

I’ve got a feature request regarding the image carousel/image gallery.
They are both great HOWEVER…
The image carousel has an auto rotate option but only one image is displayed at a time. The image gallery has no auto rotate option but allows more than one image to be displayed.
I have a use case where we need an image gallery but with the image carousel auto rotate option.
Also the image gallery doesn’t allow you to set any responsiveness options so the number of images displayed is the same on mobile as it is on the desktop.
My image gallery has 4 images displayed but when on a mobile or tablet in portrait mode this needs to be 1 & 2 images displayed.
So at the moment the image gallery isn’t really a useable widget without the responsiveness feature and lack of auto rotation.

Hello, it is possible to use media grid to display one or serveral images at once and set auto-rotate or disable auto-rotate.

Hello, info list is not default element of Visual Composer – it could be added to VC either by your WP theme author or 3rd party addon – I would recommend contacting author of element directly to get more information on how to operate with it.

I see in the new update, a new tab called deprecated with tabs, accordions, buttons are no longer supported. Will it be removed from future updates or just you don’t support the elements? What will happen to those elements we have already built contents with it?
Hello, there are new buttons, tabs and accordions available with more options so it is recommended to use those elements instead of old ones. At some point we will remove old elements from the list.
