Looks pretty awesome Plugin – I have seen so many and this is by far the awesome one! – I have some PRE-purchase questions. I provide in home service (FREE ESTIMATES for flooring installs). So when my client is inserting his/her info can we add a line at details so they can also add their address. Also remove payment steps. Thank you!

One more question! So If I am available 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening how can that be set up? on your old version that I was given by my friend you could set up break during the day! Please advise! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Is it possible to assign to a member specific staffs members so that for example a user X can manage schedule from staff member A, C, E, Z (but not the rest). If it’s not possible yet, could you integrate this feature ?

  1. Currently there is no option to set Time Slot length to 35 min according to Bookly’s design and logic.
  2. It is possible to remove payment step with disabling all payment methods in Settings -> Payments.
  3. Bookly uses WordPress time format settings. You can change them in the admin panel “Settings” -> “General”.

HI Bookly

My web site www.yoga.co.za has the bookly plug in and Gcal both installed

Problem: Bookly does not have recuring events. My Google Calendar does have recuring events and they are also showing on the Gcal in front end.

Unfortunately Bookly does not seem to be blocking those recuring events.

My Method: I first created all of my regular private clients in the bookly calendar (backend) for the wekk Nov 2nd to November 8th 2015 and they uploaded into the Google Calendar sucessfully.

I then went to Google (Satyam Yoga Calendar) and created repeats to all of those private clients that had pushed through from bookly to Google.

The repeats are showing in Google and Gcal but Bookly does not seem to see them because Bookly has not blocked those times. i.e. in the booking process my recurring private clients are not booked in the week Nov 9th or any of the following weeks

Question: how do we fix this because it is an incovienitnt admin if I have to load the same clients each week into bookly.

Bookly does not support recurring events, however, all events from GC should block time slots in Bookly.
Here how GC sync should work with Bookly: Bookly provides 2 way sync with Google Calendar. However, if you create or change an event in Google Calendar the related appointment is not created/updated in Bookly (the other way it does work). However each event from Google Calendar is taken into account when displaying available time slots to user in the second step of booking process. So if you have an event in Google Calendar then the corresponding time slot will be not available for booking in Bookly.
Please confirm if it works in the same way on your side.

Hello, Your plugin works perfectly when a user is logged in but it doesn’t show up for guest users. The loading circle keeps going and going. I use AVADA theme. Have you got any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance

Bookly is completely compatible with Avada theme.
Do you have any boost caching plugins installed? Bookly doesn’t work with such plugins.

okay, another question, what credentials are the public booking gonna receive? Since bookly automatically creates their accounts, do they get email containing their account credentials? should we set it? Thanks

  1. It is possible to enable ‘Notification to customer about their WordPress user login details’. By default, customer will receive an e-mail with site address, user name and password. However, e-mail text can be modified.
  2. Currently there is no option for customers to track paid & unpaid invoices. If payment is required, customers will be not able to complete the booking without payment.

I love your bookly plugin.

I’m very happy that I bought it.

One thing, when it bills a customer in stripe it does not create a customer. Is there something I can change in the way it calls the API that will create a customer as well as bill them.

That would be really great.

Hello, I’m wondering if registered users are able to manage and edit their calendar on the front end?

It is possible to enable ‘Create WP users for customers’ option and insert ‘Appointments List’ shortcode, so that customers can login and view their appointments and cancel them.
Bookly automatically creates WP users for customers on first booking.

Hi I think I didn’t explain my question well, what I’m asking is if it is possible for businesses (guess it would be considered staff members with the plugin) to edit and manage their calendar and available hours through the front end?

Hi,

I have an issue with the email notifications as the staff emails are set up through google and not a mailbox on the website hosting server.

For some reason the emails aren’t getting through to the staff members.

Could you please confirm: e-mail are not being sent only to staff members?
Could you please try changing ’Send email as’ option to Text in Notifications tab. Also, you may try changing outgoing email address.

When I connect Bookly to WooCommerce, it only allows me to link to one product. I am creating several services, so I need to link to several products. How do I change this?

All the services must be created in Bookly.
In WooCommerce you just need to create only one product (and select it in Bookly settings), which will be replaced later with a Bookly service which was selected by customer while booking.

Can you make Bookly so that it links to more than one product? It is very limiting only being able to have one product linked.

Actually, there is no linking to some specific products.
WooCommerce product which was selected in Bookly settings will be replaced with any selected Bookly product on adding service to WooCommerce Cart (after 3rd step).
All services, categories, staff members must be created in Bookly. Only single product needs to be created in WooCommerce in order to perform WooCommerce integration.
Bookly’s WooCommerce integration works in a way of replacing specified WooCommerce product with Bookly’s service which was selected by customer.

Hi, a couple of questions. 1 I can’t make the connection to google calendar. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. 2 Is it possible to set a default service provider instead of a dropdown list (only one person who takes bookings) 3 Is it possible to remove the (0,00kr) after the persons name in the booking form? (all costs are commuted elsewhere and invoiced separately) We can provide a user and password if required, just didn’t want to type it here. Thank you in advance!

Please try to create appointments from GC and via Bookly booking form.
Bookly provides 2 way sync with Google Calendar. However, if you create or change an event in Google Calendar the related appointment is not created/updated in Bookly (the other way it does work). The thing is that I have appointments in my Google Calendar, but I can still make reservations via the plugin on my homepage for the same time. Nothing is showing under Bookly / Calendar either when I’m logged into admin. I thought I was supposed to be able to use GC to keep track on my schedule, and that this plugin is supposed to synch with it so that it doesn’t offer times to visitors on my homepage. Am I mistaken? If not – how do I make it work?

The appointments I have created on my homepage is showing up in my GC, so that seem to work, but I need Bookly to block out times as not avaliable when I have a piror appointment in GC.

Actually, when 2 way sync is enabled, appointments created via Bookly will be displayed in Google Calendar.
If event was created in Google Calendar, it will not appear in Bookly calendar, however, time slot(s) for that time should not be available for booking.
As I understand time slots are not being blocked for that time, right?

Hello, I first instaled Bookly in a portuguese wordpress and it was all portuguese in bookly as well. Now I had to install it again in a new wp install (becose I realised it doesnt work in multisites), but I havent changed wordpress language before I installed Bookly, I did it after bookly was running. Now I have most of the plugin translated to portuguese, but the frontend remains in english, as well the e-mail notifications are in english as well. How to have it all translated as I had in my first install? thanks

However, we provide Bookly with an open source code, so you may customize it by your self or with a help of any other developer.
Please note: you will have to create a copy or save your changes before updating the plugin in order to save your changes.

Hello, we have just purchased the bookly plugin and it’s not working. We have purchased the pro version. We have set up the days and times that I want to offer consultations but it doesn’t show up like this on the form when I embed the code onto the page, it shows the days, but not the times available.

We have spent all day trying to figure this out, please help!!

Hi, we have done everything stated above for the last 6 hours. When i schedule a staff member (the only staff member) with days off and go to book in an appointment, days that i have selected off still show up available. I have also done the same under the DAYS OFF tab. Also the time slots are all over the place and do not correspond to what i have selected. I need this sorted ASAP please help. Thanks Jade
