For some reason if i save the VC -> Design Settings (like spaces between rows and columns) the CSS bellow is not saved/updated. I know this because i have it working on my second server. Wen i save it says it is saved successfully but apparently its not.

URGENT – have just bought a license so that I can get updates and support for a site where the theme included VC but when I try to add the license it’s not recognized in my installation and when I go to your support centre it tells me I don’t have any licenses and won’t allow me to raise a ticket. Please treat this as urgent as I cannot access support until the license is recognised

right now I am in the process of replacing the deprecated accordions with the new ones. It is really a huge amount of work if one uses accordions extensively as I do on my site!!! It would have been nice to offer a kind of automatic process to do this!
1. Anyway I need to control the height of all accordion titles. How can I do this? What is the css element selector to set a specific height to the accordion title line?
2. Do the accordion section must have a specific id?
3. If I have no need for a specific accordions section id, can I safely delete the accordion section id?
4. Is it possible to create per default an accordion without section id?

Hello, you should look into vc_tta-panel-heading. As for the rest – ID is not mandatory unless you wish to link to them. You can remove it. To create accordion without ID you can delete ID and save it as Element Preset for accordions.

Can you explain your answer a bit further? My question is, if I use multiple grids and post blocks to create a homepage layout, will one block know which posts are there in the other block? And this brings up another question – will the post shown be the same every day or will they change dynamically with some sort of setting options?
Hello, no, other grid do not know which posts are presented in another grid, so you will need to use excerpt and limit or exclude there. They will change depending on settings – in general they will change automatically, but if you specify specific List of ID’s then they will stay.

When I use the Separator Element, the separator only shows in Chrome and no other web browsers. Please check, I don’t see it in IE, etc. Is this my issue or a general issue?

Hello, did not experienced such problem, please make sure you are using latest version of VC, if not, please do update. If the problem still exists you will need to open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com so our support team can investigate it. If you got VC within a theme – then you will need either ask your theme author for support or consider purchasing direct license for VC to access official support.

Does visual composer not allow for the ”<main>” html tag? I have VC built into a theme I purchased from Themeforest and every time I try to add that tag into the text block HTML editor and it does not save the tag. Thanks!
Hello, we do not cut it out, but it could be done by TinyMCE or even theme. In fact putting main tag somewhere in container is against proper semantics so this could be the reason for automatic cut out. If you still wish to do so you can try using RawHTML block, but again – there is no guarantee that theme does not cut it out.

There appears to be a bug in the Single Image element where it is displaying images at their actual size instead of reducing to fit the column in Firefox only. Had to use this code to fix:
.wpb_single_image .vc_figure { display: inline; }?

Hello, Visual Composer works with content part of WP theme so you will still need WP theme for your site. As for ensuring posts – in one element of VC – yes – it does not allow such duplications, but if you force two display same post 2 times on the page it will do so.

Happy to know it doesn’t allow unintentional post duplication. I understand it needs a theme but my question is regardless of a theme design, can i create a full new static page including header and footer with VC?

How to remove all animation and Post grid loading ?
Hello, you can remove animations between slides in grid under grid element options. Grid Item template can be modified with Grid Builder. Nevertheless for now initial grid loading animation can not be changed so you will need to perform custom coding there.

Hello, I would suggest contacting theme author directly as in your case support and updates are managed by theme author. If you wish to unlock direct update and support options you will need to consider purchasing direct license for VC.
