how can i get new Visual Composer 4.8 if i bought 4.7.4? how can i download update?

Hello, I have updated to wordpress version 4.3.1 & updated to visual composer plugin to version 4.7

But now the plugin has stopped working in the pages and I’m unable to save the changes in any element, i.e Save Changes button doesn’t work It only shows visual and text.

Is it possible to set the row height for content? CSS or otherwise? Even better if you can center the content as well. Using SVG files and they keep growing to the size of the row height.

We love this product, however it’s caused some glitches on our site.

Ever since we updated the plugin, our menu has had issues.

1. The search bar overlaps the menu when you click it, rather than moving above the menu like it used to.

2. The last menu item (Hockey Preview) doesn’t stay on the same line as the rest of the menu items, even when the screen is expanded to be wide enough. It’s stuck on its own line, which causes lots of awkward empty space.

Please let me know how we can resolve these issues.

I’m trying to stretch the row and leave the content boxed, using “Stretch Row” parameter. Unfortunately it stretches the content as well. There is no difference between “Stretch Row” and “Stretch Row and Content” options.

Is there a way to set the content to a certain width using Visual Composer classes?

I see that there are an opgrade from 4.7.1 to 4.8.1, but I noticed that a wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/css/js_composer.css file is missing from the new update – why is that? Don’t we still need that CSS file? Thanks in advance and awesome plugin by the way 10/10 would buy again.

Hi we love the multi-layer parallax backgrounds in rows (a lot!!!) but we were wondering if we could have a slideshow so have the images rotate? Underneath our floating images and columns etc. Any ideas??

It would be impossible for me to love this plugin more. Not only does it do everything I was hoping, but in my novice webdev skills (I’m a designer, not a developer), it introduced me to an exponential number of cooler things I could be doing instead. It’s very easy to use, and when I do need help, the WPBakery support system is FAST-fast (fastest and most thorough I’ve ever encountered).

Also, because this plugin is so awesome and so well established there are a ridiculous amount of add-ins available that work well with it. I’ve been able to beef up my whole site system because of this one plugin, using easy tables, templatera, and DHVC forms add-ins.

Now I can focus more on the UX/UI design of the site since the dev part is packaged in this plug in for me.

I recently purchased a Woocommerce Theme called “The Shop” by AVAThemes which is sold on envato market.

The theme comes pre-loaded with several plugins – including ‘Visual Composer” – however this is asking to pass codes etc.

Does the company selling this theme have permission to include your plugin and do you have an agreement to provide a working version of your plugin within this theme? As I will need to get my passcode username etc.

I can’t even disable ‘Visual Composer’ from within Wordpress, which I guess means that this theme is very reliant on it being installed.

I will be quite annoyed if this is a marketing ploy so we have to then purchase another plugin once we have already paid for the Theme.

VC Is wrapping 3rd party shortcodes in vc_row and vc_column!

When i add a custom shortcode “bartag” using using visual composer it wraps it in vc_row and vc_column:

[vc_row][ vc_column ][ bartag color="#ff0000" ]I am test text[ /bartag ][ /vc_column ][ /vc_row ]

I don’t need to wrap it in vc_row as these are already generated from within the bartag shortcode.

How does one go about stopping the bartag shortcode from being wrapped?

HI, I have a website that I setup on the on my own two server and working perfectly, but when setting up on the client server the same copy of the site, going to the Edit mode, give me a 404 status error. It is the latest WP and Visual composer. Can anyone advise? I have setup wpconig define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ ); ini_set(‘memory_limit’,’256M’);

and I have no error, nothing , only show 404 page once I click edit. The blue button edit does not show, it just say edit the page.

I love the plugin but please add automatic updates!
