What has changed with the update.
Why not copy only files that have changed. What if you say you update files. Let’s change only those files that have been updated.

Changelog is included in the download.
We have to include all files in the update as there’s only one download for all buyers (ones that have not installed yet and ones that are updating from previous version).
This script eventually clogged up my server and hostgator terminated my hosting. Even though it was set to not store locally i ended up with a 18 gig of unwanted storage space. I’ve completely uninstalled it and unfortunately kissed the $30 goodbye. The support was great and looked great but it just became too large to host. 
Is there anyway you can grant me a refund? I am happy to take only half of the cost i purchased at $30. If you can paypal me refund that would be of great service. It just did not work for me this script unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that. You were most likely using IMDb as data provider, images for it need to be downloaded locally, there’s no other way unfortunately.
But if you use tmdb as data provider, nothing needs to be downloaded locally and it will use maximum a couple hundred megabytes for database.
Regarding the refund, you’d need to contact envato support as they handle those.
I would buy this script if there was no framework involved. Would you consider re-write this script in pure php? thanks

It’s not really an issue with the script as we can’t control google policies, but reviews and news scraping will be disabled by default (with an option to enable it from dashboard) in the new version to comply with google guidelines. New version should be available today or tomorrow.
I am adding imdb Movie import. Add the need to change the information on imdb. I need to translate writings. But I can not change. It turns into old when I refresh the page. Changes are not saved.

After you have added. To delete some data, I want to leave empty. as a description of the movie.
But it does not delete information that were imported.
After import from imdb, it does not allow to leave the field empty.

2. Set data providers to ‘db’ from dashboard. Note that you will only be able to import title information manually then, nothing will be fetched automatically.

I have been craping on and on again with tmdb and only about 36000 movies have shown up. How can I insert them ALL. Preferably from tmdb but wouldnt mind from imdb if its easier. In addition, privacy and tos phps are missing from lang/en path… so there are no privacy and tos pages.

Just make sure you enter something into ‘from what page to start?’ field, otherwise it will just re-scrape the same tiles again.
As for privacy and tos, you’ll need to create them from dashboard > pages. You can find the examples in app/storage folders.
it has by default page “1”. do I have to scrape every page one by one? how many pages are there?
It’s to resume your progress, there are 20 titles per page on tmdb. So for example if you’ve scraped 100 movies last time, you’d enter 5 into ‘from what page to start’ to resume from where you left of.
How can we made filmography editable? How can we add filmography to actor’s profile (manually)? Filmography is currently not editable.

You can edit filmography by clicking on edit icon in dashboard > actions next to the actor. If you want to edit movies to actors filmography you will need to edit a specific movie and then attach the actor your want from that movies edit page.

i really need your help on this: when i want to install mtdb only Extension fileinfo Disabled which i contact my host company and they said “The requested extension Fileinfo is enable by default on the server” and it still show Disabled on install page.. hv google alot no solution is there how i can fix it in htaccess

If it’s showing that the extension is disabled then it is disabled, there’s really not much we can do about it unfortunately as it’s required for MTDb to function properly.
Yes i kno there no much you can do, i was only ask a question that is it possible to enable it tru .htaccess as long my host company told mi it enable, but the app install show disabled…so i read something online about how to enable php extension tru .htaccess but i don’t understand because am not that technical person hv try all my best before i contact you…plz am now requesting this support as a person that need your help..cos your response to me as buyer sound less concern, and also kindly consider my request as a buyer that bought all addon relate to mtdb but cant mk value of it yet….please and please i need a positive response how or any possibility to enable it tru htaccess

We can’t sell it unfortunately, but you can just use one of the scrapers in dashboard > actions page, it’s how we fetched the data for demo site.

Hello, the htaccess file seems to do stuff with my addon domains, i got mtdb on my main domain for my host but also got some addon domains and the htaccess seems to change those to www.addondomain.com/www.addondomain.com
How can i fix this ?
